RCjunkie
Here's a stupid idea for you all to completely reject: relocating the ferris wheel to Ripcord's spot. Get that new light display to show off to everyone on the road! With a new light package it would fit in great over at Route 76. Not a stupid idea, just not probable because I don't think Ripcords space would be big enough to handle the queue and ride.
Mdcastle
Today I had a gray out on Excalibur and I was totally not expecting it. I had never had one before and I thought only coasters the scale of I305 would give you them. Renegade was a walk on, I got four rides in a row and it was epic. The HR ride operators were throwing candy at the people in the train it was funny. I saw workers riding the new slides. It's so fun to grey out on I305. Guess I gotta try Excalibur again. Hope there's not much of a wait.

ACES
RCJunkie said "I don't think Ripcords space would be big enough to handle the queue and ride." Are you talking about moving the Ferris wheel up by were Rip Cord sits? Shouldn't take that much space and do they need a big que line for the Ferris Wheel the line is never long plus you can't ride single on the Ferris Wheel? I kind of like the idea putting the Ferris Wheel by Rip Cord or to the right of Steel Venom maybe raise the parking lot to make room for the Feeris Wheel or other locations you could move the Ferris Wheel under the Wild Thing turn around or were the old chaos use to sit and how about re tireing the old Ferris Wheel maybe build a bigger one put it under the Wild Thing turn around with new led lights. And we're the Ferris Wheel sits maybe add a giant max air ride 150 feet or put a max air ride by the Wild Thing in that open land space were the old tilt a whirl use to sit doesn't take up that much space. ACES
How does one recognize Mr Frazier? I guess if you visit the park regularly and if he knows you sees you a lot at the park that's one way. Or if you see him walking around the park just walk up say hi nice to talk to.

Where on Excalibur did you sit where you experienced a gray out?! I grayed out during the tight helixes, but I had ridden Excalibur many times before and never experienced it so I am clueless as to why I got one that time. As for the Ferris wheel, that ride serves as a family friendly observation tower, and if they move it to route 76 you will be able to observe a parking lot and a high way so I am sort of against it. The reason I Say sort of is because I love the idea of a giant frisbee going in its old spot.

Mdcastle
Speaking of the Ferris wheel, is there a policy that single riders aren't allowed? My sister tried to ride along once and was told she couldn't.

VFVSGirl16
Really stupid question... What's graying out?
valleyfairfanatic
Not a stupid question at all! It is when your vision is narrowed, almost like you're in a gray tunnel due to the blood rushing to your feet. When positive g-forces are applied, the blood in your head rushes to the lower portion of your body, and the lack of blood reduces your vision. Some people simply gray out, some people are knocked out cold. It varies on the person. (A red out is caused by positive g-forces where blood rushes up into your brain really quickly)

GCI Wooden
Sorry for the double post, but I saw this cool photo from VF's page. ACES
Does anyone know why you can't ride single on the Ferris Wheel or unless they changed that along with the Wheel of Fortune? Other parks have Wheel of Fortune similar rides were you can ride single.
CaptainUnknown
^A number of single riders on Ferris Wheels over the past couple years have attempted suicide. It's an additional safety precaution. Or so I've heard. If I've heard incorrectly, please correct me.

CaptainUnknown
A thought I had on Thursday: when the park replaces the Corkscrew, how difficult would it be to reroute the train just slightly enough for an immelman to make a loop around the Power Tower bridge? dboor129
Just a thought I had about Excalibur...I think we all know by now that Excalibur no longer has their 2nd train on the track. I noticed today that the train was in the back corner behind the lift hill and the trains were covered and also the parts of the train were de-attached. What could this mean? I know the ride doesn't get a lot of attention but there really has to be more to this story. Also, how much of the land behind Renegade does VF actually own? I'm curious with all of the dirt and digging I've seen back there. I'm hoping to hear more from captain unknown about the back in the park rumors! Snowyowl1028
^ I talked to the Excalibur staff and they said there were rumors swirling of the ride being demolished. I also noticed the cars were covered on the side of the lift hill. Looks like the ride really could be removed. That's where I place my bet for the near future. Thats where the cars are usually stored when waiting to be put on or just after being taken off, so I wouldn't read in to it. Plus there hasn't been a year in recent memory that rumors of Excalibur's removal weren't swirling around...
ariznglori
Where is all this supposed digging in the back of the park taking place? I'm extremely curious.
VF15
Under most circumstances, I would agree with dippindotsguy8, but this is the first year I can remember where Excalibur only has one train on the track to start the season. Of course, they might just be doing this because it never needs the second train (only once have I ever seen two-train operations on Excalibur), however, this still seems a bit odd. On another note, I posted these a while back, but I noticed these small markings on the ground near the amphitheater/train station last week. Anyone think they mean anything?
valleyfairfanatic
I think the amphitheater will be demolished in the near future as well. I have heard some rumblings about it leaving, but nothing about excalibur that i've heard.
