jmillzy: I'm not over estimating the wait times. The park was very busy today with one train running on Excalibur it can have a one hour wait time on a busy day. Reading some of your posts seems like you like to go after people how about not go after people.

The park is really busy right now. (I find this shocking). How shocking is it for Excalibur to have a 1 hour wait time full que line? Doesn't happen that much only on really busy days. I have seen the line full early this year during the school field trip days.

Valleyfair is packed today. I just came out of the park. The re admission exit is at least 15 minute wait just to get your hand stamp line was under the clock tower. The main lot is 3/3 full filling up fast. I thought it was going to be a slow Saturday with the state fair but I was wrong and most of the food buildings have wait times. I did get two re rides on Steel Venom this morning but the park filled up very fast. I say it's more busy right now then the 4th of July. This is great for the park seeing it this busy. Going back on Sunday. Wait Times: Not even 1:30pm. (1) Renegade: Two trains running hour wait. (2) Excalibur: 1 Hour. (3) Looping Star Ship: 1/2 hour wait full ship. (4) Mad Mouse: 1 hour. (5) Wild Thing: 1 hour 30 minutes. (6) High Roller: 1 Hour. (7) Corkscrew: 1 hour 30 minute wait time line is all the way to the bottom of the entrance. (8) Ferris Wheel: 1/2 hour wait. (9) The Monster: 1/2 hour wait. (10) Enterprise: 1/2 hour wait. (11) Steel Venom: 1 hour 30 minutes. (12) Extreme Swing: Full que line. (13) Power Tower: 1 hour. (14) Route 76: Full que line. (15) Scrambler: 1/2 hour. (16) Tilt a Whirl: 1/2 hour.

Kings Island is getting a new Soak City water park expansion in 2016 along with new toll lanes. I hope Valleyfair would follow Kings Island and Carowinds and do some more general improvements. We could also use a new toll lane plaza entrance like the one at Carowinds. One thing I notice to that the main front parking lot could use some new re striping for next year its starting to fade a bit and do some more re paving in certain areas of the main lot like around the Steel Venom area.

Nice article. I really hope Cedar Fair will add a new B&M for Valleyfair in the next few years. B&M will be a perfect coaster with the line up that we already have and a good fit for the park. New coaster possibly in the dinosaurs alive front of the park. I have been wanting a inverted for my home park for a while now. Renegade 2007 was our last coaster so I think were due for a new coaster its going on 9 years now. I'm going to say 2017 will be our year for a new coaster.

I was back at the park in the evening again. I did ride Turbo Drop on Power Tower it did slow before reaching the top. I really like the view at the top.

There are no new markings since the last markings that were over by the chaos area.

Wild Thing is up and running again. On the way out my last ride on Renegade decided to take a photo of the new haunt building. Just added windows. Haunt building.

I'm at the park in the evening for a while. I was in line at Power Tower. Wild Thing was stuck for 15 minutes on the lift. They are letting people off the train walking down the lift hill. I rode Wild Thing yesterday seem to be running fine. Mechanical issue this evening. People are getting off the train right now walking down the lift hill.

I just got off Wild Thing a five minutes ago I got stuck on my first ride of the evening because someone had to take there cell phone out and the ride operator told everyone to put there arms up in the air to check everyone.

On Wednesday, August 26 at 8pm Knott's Berry Farm Season Passholders and Scary Farm Passholders are invited to an exclusive 2015 Knott's Scary Farm unveiling event. Those in attendance will have a chance to win free Scary Farm tickets. This event will take place in the Charles M. Schulz theatre and is not recommended for children under 13. Wristbands are required for event enter. Makes me wonder about Valleyfair's annoucement will be soon for there new haunt attraction? Wonder if Valleyfair will follow the same way and do a sneak preview for there season passholders of there new haunt building.

I just thought of this. Would any TPR's like to meet up on Sunday the last day of the season and hang out as a group? Ill be at Valleyfair the last day of the season all day. I'm at Valleyfair now looks like the park is getting ready for the haunt. Looks like maitence crews are only running one train on Wild Thing the rest of the evening along with Corkscrew both had two trains running early this evening before 6:00pm. Maitence just closed Wild Thing a few minutes ago right when I got in line putting the second train back on the transfer track. Park is really slow this evening. Why would they put a second train back on the transfer track at 7pm on Wild Thing and keep two trains running on Renegade till closing? Renegade had shorter lines then Wild Thing.

I watch you tube videos on Wild Cat at Hershey Park. Is Wild Cat really a rough ride? I like the photos.

Why did Valleyfair cut the park services? Is this the first year ride operators have done park services?

I think Larson Flyers was brought up because we won't be getting a new coaster in a couple of years and was an idea for a new ride update the flat rides before we get a new coaster and fill in some of the open areas. Were the old tilt a whirl use to sit you can remove the arcade to make room for a new small coaster. Fairly Odd Coaster or Spinning Dragons could fit in the tilt a whirl spot.

I thought it was Canada's Wonderland there getting a different ride.

There are new markings by the chaos area. Might be a spot for a new ride? Delirium or Flying Larsons? There are two parks getting a Delirium maybe Valleyfair will get one as well I would be happy if we got one to. I also spoke with Frazier a few weeks ago. He mention to me chance that Looping Star Ship might be relocated to the front of the park for the next water park expansion. Maybe a giant tornado bowl or a Hydro blaster comeback could fit in there. And tearing down the Hurricane Falls for a new slide package be nice and add a combination of tube slide to but keep Raging Rapids is one of my favorites at Soak City. Add more tube slides. Remove Excalibur and expand the Soak City in the back of the park and keep the new B&M coaster either a wing or inverted up were the Dino area is. Building a new coaster for the back of the park is risky with flooding. I'm speculating that the next coaster will go in the Dino area and the ampitheatre will be the spot for the dark ride. My speculation for Valleyfair in the next five years. (1) Delirium, 2016 New Ride maybe a Larson Flyers to in the same year. (2) 2017 New B&M Coaster. Inverted or Wing. (3) 2018 Removal of Excalibur for the new parking lot and start the construction of wet land project service road, new employee parking lot and expansion of Soak City.

I'm going to Valleyfair most of the day Sunday morning and evening on my off day.

Renegade start's out with one train. The ride operators told me once the line gets past the tunnel they will add a second train. But on Saturdays morning's I have seen Renegade start out with running two trains on busy weekend's same on Sundays to. I'm there on Sunday and Monday evenings they normally have two train's running by the time I get there after 4pm. And Renegade ever since they have put a new chain lift on it has been running two train's on a regular basis. Last Monday when I was at Valleyfair had moderate rain during the evening when I was there everyone left the park around 7:00pm and Renegade kept two train's running till close which was nice to keep the lines moving. Wild Thing always runs two train's. Has Wild Thing ever run one train? Does it really have to be a dead day at the park for Wild Thing to run only one train? So far this season with Wild Thing since I have been to the park always runs two trains. And I know from maitnence they won't be running three trains even on the 4th of July. They need a third train in case of something else happens to the other trains if they were to brake down have mechanical issuses then they will have a back up train. Don't expect them to run three trains.

I would say Valleyfair is next in line for a new coaster before Worlds of Fun get's one or maybe even Kings Island just got Banshee and Kings Island officials unveiled there new “Tropical Plunge" New slides will begin from a 65-foot platform expanding the water park in 2016 I wouldn't expect Kings Island to get a new coaster in a couple of year's. My bet Valleyfair will be next.

Valleyfair had moderate to steady rain during the evening till about 6:30pm. After that almost everyone was leaving the park with the rain. I went to Steel Venom at 7pm walk right onto the front row with a empty station no one was in line. Had a private ride that doesn't happen to much on Steel Venom. Tilt a Whirl, Northern Lights, Wheel of Fortune, Mad Mouse and Looping Star Ship your normal rides are usually closed when there's moderate rain. The rain stopped after 7pm by then the park was almost empty or dead. Got a few rides on Extreme Swing five minute wait and few re rides on Turbo Drop and Space Shot on Power Tower no wait times. Headed to Wild Thing running two trains five minute waits. Something I notice when I was in line watching the Wild Thing trains seem to stopped right away at the beginning of the brake run waited for the other train to come out of the station. Normally the train doesn't slow till the end of the brake run before it hit's the station? Is that normal or weather related with the moderate rain? After Wild Thing spent the rest of the night at Renegade. I was surprised they kept two trains going till 10:00pm. There was no line on the stair's or at the tunnel. Renegade was a walk on till closing time. About 9:30pm when I was on Renegade I got a couple of private rides in the front row there was no one in the station and got plenty of re rides on Renegade and got the last ride of the night on Renegade is always fun . I think the sometime's the best time to go to an amusement park is when it rain's for a couple of hour's then everyone leave's and the line's have no wait time's or even go to the park when it rain's less wait times.
