I'm at the park now. After walking by the chaos area were the flags are I notice some new markings close to the amphitheater on the grass areas. There small orange flags and orange lines on the grass areas. I haven't been to the park in a couple of days and I have been walking by this area all season up today when I noticed the new markings. I know they weren't there early this season. I'm still staying with my speculation were the amphitheater is that's were the dark ride will go the blue print is big enough for the area. Any thoughts of the new markings? I took three photos. New markings spotted were the chaos area is. -

Do you think Cedar Point should upgrade there fencing. Maybe change it and make them more taller so people can't sneak into roller coasters and restricted areas if they loose there personal belongings? Make the fences more higher up and tight together to prevent people from entering restricted areas? Is this the first death to happen at Cedar Point? And wonder if all parks should do the same for fences making them higher up and tighter so people can't sneak in to prevent this in the future? This is not Cedar Point fault because he entered a restricted area. Why couldn't he wait till the park closes to get his belongings or have an employee get it for him? Doesn't Cedar Point check areas if people loose there stuff on roller coasters and I thought ride operators always say please put all loose articles in the storage areas before coming on to the rides or roller coasters? What was he carrying that he lost so important to get back? -

The month of August for early ride entry season pass holders is Steel Venom, Route 76, Enterprise, Northern Lights, Tilt a Whirl, Scrambler will be open month of August. Get to the park at 9:00am early I was there on Saturday got two re rides on Steel Venom. For Renegade has been running two trains almost every day since they have put the new chain lift on. Also when your on Renegade if you want to re ride if know one is in line and they have two trains running you can stay in your seat without getting off and if someone is in your line you can find a open seat without going around the que again. -

When I came around the corner by the general store saw Frazier said hello. Every time I visit Valleyfair always nice to chat with him. He ask me how my coaster trip was. I told him I went to Adventureland Iowa, Silver Dollar City, Six Flags St Louis and Six Flags Great America. We were also talking about the next water park expansion. I mention to Frazier about relocating the Looping Starship somewhere else he said it's a real possibility it may go up in the front of the park and new paint job plus moving the Soak City enterance over by the new Mad Mouse gate. He told me he plays roller coaster tycoon LOL moving rides around so relocating the Looping Starship tells me we're the vollyball courts and food truck is might be the next spot for the water park expansion maybe a giant tornado bowl or a hydroblaster will come back there and also mention to him about removing the Hurricane Falls slide for a new slide package might go there. One more thing I mention to Frazier about my trip on having a Outlaw Run told him there around $10 million and said I like hearing the sounds of the Raptor or Banshee inverted coasters over the midways but he said they only do what cooperate gives them. Thought I would share this. -

Regarding the park current rest rooms. Are they original since the park opened up in 1976? If there going to update remodel the rest rooms. I think they should tear down the main front gate rest room make it newer updated more stalls sinks newer floors. I'm also sticking with the dinasour's alive when there done that's were the new coaster is going to go. Putting a new coaster in the back of the park is to risky for flooding. I would leave the back of the whole park for the Soak City water park expansion along with the new parking lot and service road maybe a new thrill ride and a couple of new sit down restaurants for the back of the park. I like Dollywood's new coaster Lightning Rod $22 million and how they are investing. I want Valleyfair's next coaster to be a big investment for the park. Going to be back at Valleyfair in the morning from 9am till 2pm on my normal visits Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Monday evening at Renegade night rides again. -

Where the Wheel of Fortune currently sits. I remember that the Bayern Curve use to sit there. For any ride come backs at Valleyfair. I'd like to see them bring back the Falling Star like at Adventureland in Iowa. Also like to see some new flat rides like: Himalaya, Air Race, Sidewinder. Inverter flat rides from Adventureland which I would like to see at Valleyfair. -

If anyone is interested in this. I was talking with one of the Renegade ride operators who I know. He told me this past off season with the re tracking of Renegade. Valleyfair spent some big bucks about $300,000 just to re track certain areas not the whole ride. Imagine how much it would cost them to re track the whole Renegade? -

Just arrived at Valleyfair. I'm going to be here till close on my last day off vacation before I go back to work on Thursday. The main lot looks 2/3 full again seems like our attendance has been up this season. For school busses saw District of River Falls and Sleepy Eye schools are here few more busses in the back. For season pass holders early ride times for the month of August Steel Venom, Route 76, Northern Lights and Enterprise will be back open again was in May. -

With the park being at capacity. When the park closes it's rides at close time at 10:00pm. With the people still waiting outside the que how are they going to handle the last minute rides? Park closes at 10:00pm? Assuming they won't get all those people out of the park at 10:00pm. Would they stay open an extra hour for last minute rides? -

During the off season. It it is going to be another "general improvement" year. How about tearing down the current restrooms for update and newer one's? Maybe making the men's side more bigger to accommodate more people on busy day's. I'll be at the park till Thursday before I go back to work. One thing I've notice this season on a Monday and Tuesday. Talking with some of the Renegade ride operators. Our attendance has been up this year compared to last year. I've also notice that the main lot has been 2/3 full on Mondays and Tuesdays. Mondays are normally slow. Renegade has been running two trains ever since they have put the new chain lift on. Lines during the week have been half way in the tunnel at times. I've notice but I think our attendance has been up this season possibly from the water park expansion or the flooding from last year. -

Just came back home from Valleyfair today. Something's I notice when I was riding Renegade. The ride operator was just about to say "clear" scan and was just about to dispatch the train it started to move then a guy in the front row decided to take out his camera. The ride operator saw it and stopped the train and told him to put the phone away. Once the train left the station the ride operator made annoucement saying if your're going to take out a camera or phone to record you wont be back on this ride again. There are some people who don't follow park rules. Later on when I got back in line again front row on Renegade a guy was actually smoking a cigerate on the train waiting for it to dispatch with his kid next to him while on the train I knocked on the ride operator booth and the ride operator went out the door told him to put it out. Again "no smoking in the station or the que lines" There are some people who don't follow rules. And regarding smoking policy at Valleyfair. Is Valleyfair a smoke free enviorment and they only have one place to smoke for smokers? I belive it's down over by the General Store in the small corner by the gate? Just wondering. As for the off season for me if Valleyfair doesn't get anything new I'm not going to be worried about it. I've already bought my Water Park of America and Nickelodeon season pass for the off season when Valleyfair is closed. The annual pass for Nickelodeon Universe is $139.00. So on the last day of the season on Sunday when Valleyfair closes. Monday my off day I'm going straight over to Nickelodeon Universe so the off season wont be boring for me at least get ready for 2016. We're with in two more years for a new roller coaster were just going to have to play the waiting game. Would anyone be happy if all we got was a Larson Flyers for 2016? -

Would any of you miss the arcade if they were to be removed? How many of you actually play the arcade games when your at Valleyfair? The only thing I like when it is a hot and humid day standing in the arcade the AC feels really good to cool off in there. You can use the arcade area to make room for a small coaster but I think the supports would have to go over the train tunnel because that would be in the way along with a few big trees for a new small coaster to fit in there then you can use the land were the old tilt a whirl use to sit for a small coaster like: Sky Rocket: Kennywood, Spinning Dragons: Worlds of Fun, Fairly Odd Coaster: Nickelodeon Universe that area is big enough for those types of coasters.
