They open at 9:30am for early rides for season pass holders. Month of July is The Extreme Swing and Power Tower Was there this morning lot of re rides on Extreme Swing. Month of August will be Wild Thing, Rip Tide, Supercat, Extreme Swing and Power Tower. If you get to the park want to do lot of re rides on Renegade Mondays are the best days to go do it real early in the morning I ride Renegade for a hour with re rides been on over 400 times so far this season. They have been opening different areas of the park this season for early rides.

I'm going on my first Rocky Mountain Coasters Outlaw Run and Goliath at the end of July when I visit Silver Dollar City and Six Flags Great America.

My 4th of July report for Valleyfair. I got to the park around 9:15am security is checking bags and Shakopee Police are being noticeable at the main gate. Didn't take long to get in. I did my normal Saturday visits. I rode the Extreme Swing for a half hour early rides meet up with Mike who rides Renegade a lot. Once the park open at 10:00am my self and Mike went to Renegade I rode it for a hour with 15 re rides all in the back with Mike and a couple in the front by 11:00am. Mike has ridden Renegade over 4,000 times. I've already been on Renegade over 400 times this season so far. Both trains were running right away. After Renegade went to Wild Thing at 11:00am walk on. My first ride on Wild Thing the train started up the lift got stuck one reason for it gotten stuck half way up I notice that train TWO stopped right away at the beginning of the brake run the ride operator walked up the lift said you guys are safe. I notice Wild Thing has gotten stuck a couple of times this morning already so I'm thinking there going to stay with two trains. Rode Wild Thing a half hour walk on in the front car. Next I did the Power Tower all three towers were running . Twice on Turbo Drop once on Space Shot. About noon headed towards the front of the park walked right in Northern Lights two rides then headed to Steel Venom walked right on two rides in the back. On the way out rode the Enterprise once. My observation so far being at the park till 1:00pm everything is a walk on and it's HUMID I think the majority of the people are at the water park there's a bit of a wait getting in at the main gate going through security it's pretty much my normal visits on weekends I thought it would be busy but it's really not maybe later in the evening. Corkscrew was running two trains. The park had everything in full operation today.

Going to be at Valleyfair today from 9am till 1pm walk around see how busy it will be and see if Wild Thing will run all three trains. Will they have all three running right away in the morning?

In May and June I didn't notice any markings unless they were way in the back were we couldn't see them. Maybe Cedar Fair can work out a deal with Valleyfair and Cedar Point for two new B&Ms a inverted coaster would look nice in the back of the park in the woods with no lights only on the lift hill. They will have to raise the land like they did with steel venom for flooding and how much trees will be removed in the back?

I've talk with people at Valleyfair who heard about Excalibur leaving for a second parking lot they like it so if there just going to soak city they can use the second parking lot instead of walking all the way from the main lot through the park to get to the water park. The second parking lot could be used for season pass holders. My trainer at the gym who also has a season pass also likes the idea of the second parking lot she heard the rumor to. Like garyman6 said I would hope for a new inverted coaster next year before they start the removal of Excalibur. I'm in favor of the second lot to if I just want to go to soak city. How many parking spaces will there be? With Cedar Point making there annoucement in August I'm hopeing Valleyfair will follow maybe Cedar Fair can work out a deal with B&M for Valleyfair and Cedar Point.

I also ask Dave's opinion about a Wind Seeker at Valleyfair he said the chances are very low because they have a tone of mechanical issues and in the main lot did anyone notice some new signs by the toll lanes? I'm curious about the construction by Valleyfair housing I'm wondering if they are clearing land adding two more dorm buildings? And with the new coaster in the back of the park I would think they would have to raise the land up like they did with Steel Venom for flooding. Counting down the days August is close. Are we going to see annoucement for 2016 during the same time with Cedar Point? Maybe Cedar Fair worked out a deal with B&M for Valleyfair and Cedar Point. Tempesto is a launch coaster? I doubt Valleyfair would get a second launch I'm sticking with a full size inverted be good for the back of the park in the woods with no lights.

There was more bull dozer work being done by the the Valleyfair housing area this morning. The month of July is Extreme Swing and Power Tower. I saw Dave operations manager this morning ask what will be in August. Wild Thing, Rip Tide, Extreme Swing, Supercat, Power Tower and I also ask about any early rides on Renegade this summer he said probably not because it's way in the back of the park might be difficult to open early maybe next year they could do it with the new rumor soak city parking lot is for season pass holders to get some early rides on Renegade. I think if you want early rides on Renegade go early on Mondays are the slowest days I've gone on Mondays gotten several re rides. I did a half hour on Extreme Swing and got to stay on three times each cycle with out getting off. Power Tower was late opening. I also ask Dave how much does a Larson Fylers ride cost $200,000 dollars sound right?

Just wondering about our rest rooms. Does anyone think we need to upgrade our rest rooms or make them bigger? Also the Storm Chaser at Adventureland in Iowa is only 260 feet. Can we go above 300 feet? Frazier does read emails depends on what you ask him I sent him a couple a while ago but he can't comment on emails for ideas for the park. Northern lights Just wondering about this to every time it rains northern lights is closed so if it rains you can expect the ride to be closed is there a reason? They can't run the ride when the track is wet?

Move the supercat were the chaos sits nothing but flags there and have the ride do some referbishing newer building around supercat bring back the cover to. Anyone know why the took the cover off? Also have supercat go foward a few times then on the backwards have the cover go over the car. Tear down the amphitheater for the Dark Ride location. We're the midway stage area sits put a Larson Flyers there and under the Wild Thing turn around add a Wind Seeker you can go as high as 275 feet ideal spot for one. That's how I would develope the front of the park.

Renegade is down this morning maintence work. Decided to ride Wild Thing for a hour this morning instead of Renegade. One thing this morning watching Wild Thing train three runs all the way through the brake run and doesn't slow down till coming into the station pretty fast I'm curious to see how they will run all three trains and talking with one of the ride operators this morning on Wild Thing will run all three trains on the 4th of July without stacking them up. They were testing all three trains this morning. I'm going to be there on the 4th of July 9:00am till 1:00pm to watch Wild Thing three train operation.

How about adding a Xcalibur thrill ride like the one at Six Flags St Louis? For the month of July the Extreme Swing and Power Tower will be open for early ride times that's next after planet snoopy.

I almost visit the park every day a lot on weekends I only live twenty minutes away in Savage nice to have the season pass specially for parking if you visit every day. I have the fine dining pass to. Do the water park in the morning on a hot day then the park in the evening. I normally ride Renegade hour a lot in the morning with re rides then a half hour on Wild Thing and each day I visit I do some flat rides in between different rides each day I'm normally there from 9:00am till 1:00pm and Monday's are the best day to go.

I'm planning to visit last Thursday in July coming from Minnesota since I don't know the area real well what is the best route leaving Silver Dollar City to Six Flags St Louis and how are the ozark mountains at night for driving?

I've been on Wild Thing this summer few times they will stop the train until that person puts there camera or phone away also anyone watch the ride operator who is operating Wild Thing in the booth see if they pay attention when the train goes up the lift. There are two ride op girls who really watch the lift good. It would bother me to specially waiting for a while. I haven't seen this on Renegade of haven't gotten stuck on Renegade yet. I'm going the 4th of July just to see how busy it will be I'm hopeing they will have the high way gates open before 9:00am and one day they had 4400 school field trips the park open at 8:30am wonder if they will open the park early.

Wild Thing three trains on the 4th of July When I was talking with one of the ride ops on Renegade Friday morning they said there going to start training ride operators how to run all three train. With the ride operators there going to need two in the first three front cars two in the middle three cars two in the back also even if they don't get full trains I think there going to have to keep all three trains running in cycles so they don't stack up keep them moving and not haveing the trains stop right away at the beginning of the brake run not take so long to get to the station. They were having issues Friday morning with the trains stopping to early was down for a while and with running all three trains the ride operators will have to move a lot faster to and all depends how quick the guests take to load and unload in the station. Also what happens if one train gets stuck on the lift?

I was at the park this morning till noon. Renegade was running fine with train two. Mad Mouse, Corkscrew, High Roller, Power Tower, Extreme Swing were all running fine in the morning till noon. Got in line for Steel Venom at 11:00am was running. Wild Thing Brake Run three train operation Wild Thing gotten stuck a few times this morning I was going to ride at 10:30am for a half hour today. Wild Thing was down at 10:30am open back up later. I've also notice that with the final break run the both trains stopped right away at the beginning of the brake run also took a while before arriving back in the station. If it's having issues they better fix it or they can't run a three train operation. On the 4th of July there going to run all three trains. Also when you run all three trains would they need to have more ride operators checking lap bars seat belts and are they going to have to train them to load unload to be fast? Not stacking up the trains keep them running in cycles slow down the lift hill to?

I'm going to Six Flags St Louis. July 29 August 5. One day. I'd like to see a Xcalibur thrill ride. At the park this morning. Renegade was running train to I didn't notice anything wrong. I was talking with one of the ride ops said on the 4th of July Wild Thing will be running all three trains along with Renegade two trains I'd hope both turbo drops on Power Tower wi be running as well. I'm going to tour the park on the 4th of July 9:00am till 1:00pm see how busy it will be. I did ten re rides on Renegade thanks to the ride ops not having me to walk all the way around the que for a second ride pick a open seat. Water Park Expansion Is this a good idea? Relocate the Looping Star Ship somewhere else remove the volley ball courts move the food truck somewhere else in the water park relocate the Soak City water park enterance over by the new black gate were Mad Mouse is or down by the rumor Excalibur Soak City parking lot is going to be then level out that whole area to build a new slide tower snake pit package hydroblaster come back or a giant tornado room for the next water park expansion. I'm also curious for the next water park expansion were and what will it be specially for the location to? 2016 Larson Flyers. Water Park Expansion. New Thrill Ride. I'm going Saturday Agust 1st Sunday August 2. I'm going to do the flash pass so I'll see what it's like will be my first time using a fast lane maybe I'll give a review when I get back.

I'm planning my first visit ever to Silver Dollar City. I'm planning to go July 29 till August 5. I was wondering I'm going on a Thursday how busy is the park? Does Outlaw Run two trains every day and how are the lines average wait we'res the best place to sit? The cave tour has anyone ever done it last about hour and how's the train ride? Also what are the best motels near by I have about a seven hour drive coming from Minnesota I'm planning to leave around one get there at 10:00pm thanks.
