With the marquee repaint now complete, there is only one thing left to complete is the sign installment.

So while we wait on the marquee update, Here is a permit for the new coaster for next year. I heard it will be a Vekoma Suspended Motorcycle Coaster/Thrill Glider. This is what would be like via blueprint.

Full details of this 2026 coaster should be announced by August.

Maybe the wildfire will help clear the land. Six Flags must have influenced the 17 million dollar budget cut to the fire department.

I heard an update on the marquee, All Bright Painting has passed it on to Burbank based sing shop California Marquee by adding wiring for their new sign.

Yep. It is way away from the wildfires in Malibu and Santa Monica.

Yet another massive fire has broken out in LA County today, and this one is only a few miles away in Castaic.  Currently the evacuation warning zone extends up to the property line of the park.   This is going to really impact park employees, please consider helping or donating however you can.

The new lettering has been added. It's pretty much of a retro look.

I found this lettering. This will be on the top of magic mountain. The font will be for the "Six Flags" name. I'm not sure about the lower part. The lower part most likely would say "EST. 1971".

I await to see this finished. The Six Flags 2019 logo will continue on the parking gate and the plaza gate.

Yep, and they've pulled back the evacuation warning zone a few miles, as well.  Currently it's only going as far south as Tapia Canyon Road (well, just barely south of it).  The evacuation warning boundary was originally the intersection of I-5 and SR-126.
