ryder
You only get the gut check at the end of FT in the back rows. The front row is much better in that regard (and you get a bonus pop of air over the loop!) It was also notable that nearly every open coaster was running two trains, after months and months of so many rides being in single train ops. I think the only ride still in single train ops is Revolution (though I didn't check X2)

Love the layout, hate the trains. It's not you, it's a really bad design The train forces your feet apart, but the restraint forces your thighs together... which is such an unnatural position to be in. If the restraint allowed you to open up your thighs/knees more, it wouldn't be a problem for most people.
CedarFlags
Anyone checked on the progress for Fright Fest yet? What do we think the odds are that all the advertised attractions are actually going to open on time this year? Or, more realistically... just how late do we think they'll be? PeoplemoverMatt
All lettering and logos on the south facing side of the marquee have been removed. The north facing side remains intact for now.
prozach626
I don't get it. What are they doing, exactly?
SoCalJasonland
Are they re-opening the really old off premises gift shop or has it been open? I haven't been there since the 70s or 80s. We just go straight to the park. If you are going to drive all the way to the park and not go into it, why not just order something online? PeoplemoverMatt
A week later and now all lettering has been removed from the north-facing side as well. The south-facing side remains unchanged from last week. The cherry picker is still on site but no replacement materials or other equipment are on site. Nrthwnd
Maybe on the stripped side, they're going to put .... (Cedar Fair) up there? Just a guess, really.
Blake Hooton
Here's the top of the sign that got repainted to gold. What do you think?
Blake Hooton
The new paint on the marquee is looking really good. I wonder if they can add the current Six Flags logo to that marquee.
Blake Hooton
The marquee sign is pretty much done. Most of that is. But they're not done yet, they still gotta work on the front sign on the top before they can place the current Six Flags logo on it. The recolor on that sign was done by El Sobrante based All Bright Painting.
Blake Hooton Posted yesterday at 01:55 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:55 AM Now they started to work on North side of the marquee as the final piece of the puzzle for the new colors before finishing with the current Six Flags logo on top whuch will continue to be used as a brand. The new colors on the marquee were colored in Gold, Pink, Light Blue, Orange, Primal Yellow and Light Green. The previous colors have been used for almost 30 years since 1995.

But these new colors looked fantastic with not only Gold, but also some White, Pink, Light Blue, Light Green, Primal Yellow and Orange. That could fit with the current Six Flags logo. All Bright Painting had worked hard on the new colors.
