I just checked the parks website www.thorpepark.co.uk and it states that "The entire park is now closed due to total power failure" Paul 'At least they are telling people' Chapman

I hope it doesn't have anything to do with the July 7th anniversary, but my guess is the park just sucks. The best part of my day was sleeping in the bar!

haux Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 LOL. That sucks, but it's just so ironic. How is that ironic? The park's not called "Never Shuts Down." Sometimes things like this happen. They're big machines that run on electricity. Machines stop working every so often, and electricity goes out sometimes.

Inferno Insane Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 When I hear about this yesterday, had to laugh. lost count the amount of times Thorpe have had a power cut. Seem like it happens every year, and looking at the website looks like Inferno back open, but can’t be ass to visited as there no reason to go when Stealth is close.
