Homer Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Spiderman 3 Teaser; tent. release date: May 4th, 2007 After numerous hoaxes, one of the most (if not THE MOST) expensive films to be ever made is coming on May 4th, 2007. Finally, Universal released a teaser yesterday alongside Superman: Returns. I won't spoil anything here... All of the past cast members are back and new faces as well. This time, Spidey faces three villains. Thomas Haden Church (Sideways, George of the Jungle) will play Sandman. Topher Grace (Eric Foreman from That 70's Show) will play Eddie Brock (it isn't confirmed he would play Venom). And the last villain, of course, is Green Goblin/Hobgoblin (played by James Franco). And to make this movie more badass, Bryce Dallas Howard would be playing Spidey's first serious girlfriend (daughter of Ron Howard, thats why she's badass). Frankly, I can't wait for this film! Hopefully this won't bomb but this film sounds promising.
obeygiant Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 ^ Topher Grace is confirmed to be Venom, we just don't know when Venom is going to show up..they could save him for the last minute and leave us with a cliffhanger. The trailer looks really good and this actually one movie I am looking forward to.
PhishyBrewer Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Venom look tiny.... ehh, looks like a DVD rental.
kennywood!007 Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 This one better have more action than the 2nd one. I thought number 2 blew! Anyone else think there was too much love and less action.
CoasterCrazy Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 I will probably go see it after the opening weekend hype dies.
Jumboshrmp Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 This one better have more action than the 2nd one. I thought number 2 blew! Anyone else think there was too much love and less action. I thought it was perfect. Spiderman 2 was my favorite movie of all time. In my opinion, there is no other movie that will ever be better than Spiderman 2. However, I hope that Spiderman 3 is better, because I know that it is the only movie that will ever have the potential to top Spiderman 2. Spiderman 2 had the best love story of any movie I had ever seen. It was very powerful, and the ending made me so happy I almost cried. And the music for the opening credits is phenomenal, i hope they use the same song again (or a slightly different one, with new themes for the villians and new characters introduced). I am looking forward to this movie very much. LOVE IT! Spiderman is my favorite character, even though I was never into the comic books, the movies got me into it, and while this may be a little off-topic, the spiderman ride ROCKS! Best ride ever! YAY SPIDEY!
FlippyTrick09 Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 When I was at Central Park about 2 weeks ago, They were filming it... Although I didn't get to see the Actors (dangit!) I did see some trailers.... I cant wait for it to open now, because it is pesrsonal to me Haha
USRoadTripper Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 Since I saw the first Spiderman, Spiderman 2 and 3 have been the only movies that I have truly anticipated. I thought 1 and 2 were both phenomenal, and are 2 of only 7 DVDs I own. I'll be there on opening day, no doubt. And hey, my friend Mageina is gonna be in it! She's the landlord's daughter in 2...the one that shares cake and milk with Peter Parker. We went to high school together, so it's cool to keep up with a friend's career. -Julie
BeemerBoy Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 ^ I'm with you, Julie. This may be one of the only movie series that I wish would go beyond a trilogy. Most die out after the sequel, but the Spiderman series has been done so well, that I believe they could probably make a least a couple more before the well runs dry.
FlippyTrick09 Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 ^^ Hey I've seen her befor... Tell her I said hey...please? Haha
ECZenith Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 So far the only picture of Venom I've seen is this one, to say the least I am excited about this movie because it will feature my favorite comic book character in the so-far-well-done Spiderman series. If anyone comes across new promo photos with Venom please post them here!
okinawaboy11 Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 AOL (Ugh I hate it) say's that this third one might be the last one they make instead of the proposed...6 or 7.
ECZenith Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 I believe it's the last one Sam Raimi will be directing, but I heard the same thing (6 or 7) There was also mention of Dunst and McGuire not being in movies that go beyond the 3rd movie, I hate when they do that... but it's way too early to tell. (ie Batman)
knottslover77 Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 I know who dies in it.And I heard they might do a 4th.Its all on www.imdb.com
Rugged One Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 Link to the trailer that was shown at Comic Con. It's blurry as heck but shows some good stuff, including the unveiling of Venom at the end, which gets a huge reaction from the crowd. http://www.nopers.com/video/876/spiderman_3_leaked_movie_footage
Jumboshrmp Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 I'm not watching that. This is going to be the movie I have anticipated more than any other movie, I'm not going to ruin any of it.
goleafsgo Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 why you guys getting so hyped up for spiderman? IMO the last movie was terrible...
DailyBugle_JL Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 ^You suck at life. Is anyone else Tivo the spiderman three trailer which is supposed to come on at an unannounced time on both CbS and MTV during there thursday night lineups. I also found this picture of venom on imageshack. spoiler warning dont click if you dont want to see venom I dont know if its real or not but it looks damn good in my book.
ECZenith Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 ^^ How can you not like the Spiderman movies?? I usually hate comic movies but these are excellent IMO. That picture of Venom is awesome, looks legit, definately professional... but you'd think they'd take some promo shots with a background like they did for Spidey and Sandman... Good find though! Official trailer will be out soon (Nov 17) and then we can all get a good look at Venom.
DailyBugle_JL Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 ^actually the trailer goes online this thursday. In theatres with casino royale on the 17. I found this link when a little while ago. aintitcool.com So i guess its legit.
pvcoasterguy Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 It has been announced by IMAX that Spiderman 3 will be simotaneously released at IMAX theatres worldwide. If you want a superb theatre experience, with great clarity, a huge screen, and amazing sound, go see it IMAX. You won't regret it--these are the best theatres in the world. It's probably only less than $1 more than a normal theatre, and the experience is far worth it.
ECZenith Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 We have an IMAX theater right at the Providence Place Mall here in RI, this is great news! I'll be there opening day for sure.
