A rare species has surfaced today...the WEM fanboy. I'm with Shockwave.... this is one of those coasters that I'll wait as long as possible to ride, simply because it's in an area that offers me nothing beyond a great ride and an Edmonton Oilers game.

I beg to differ. Maybe I'm in the minority on this one, but anyone who doesn't at least get mildly excited about being launched that fast probably doesn't have a pulse, and isn't much of a thrillseeker. I'm not saying the rockets are the greatest things around, but for what they are, they do provide a pretty good rush. Right?

Exactly. Especially when a company works three years to design, perfect, and literally trademark the element. Plus, as I mentioned back when the "wingwalker" was being discussed for CP'07 (could it still be?), the idea of hanging out over the water with nothing below you will be a sweet visual!

I guess some folks will just never be satisfied unless they see their No Limits fantasy coaster appear before their eyes. I honestly think the floorless aspect of this ride is gonna be seriously undermined until people actually get the chance to ride it.

Still looking for airtime? Walk across the park and ride AC. I simply don't understand the argument about this not being much more than what Skeikra already is. Is it similiar? Yes. Is Sheikra fun to most people? Yes. Is Kraken widely considered one of, if not the best examples of a floorless coaster (which most people seem to like, btw)? Yes. Now, put the two together, and you definitely have a recipe for disaster, right? Right? See, I just can't figure you people out sometimes. Tell ya what, when the "supposed" 5 year contract with B&M concerning the building of Dive Machines is finally over, then you guys who disagree with this design can pool your resources and get your favorite park chain to build a better one. Spot on with that. In that particular market, you've gotta bring your "A game." Anything less gets lost in the shuffle. I haven't seen the show yet, but from all the reports thus far, it doesn't leave me feeling I'd be missing out on anything more spectacular than Fantasmic, Illuminations, or Wishes.

Looks great to me! Who cares if it's a clone, or semi-clone? If a design's good, then why whine about duplicating it with a slight enhancement like floorless cars? Heck, I don't hear anyone ever whining about the Batman clones. They're still considered the "golden age" beemers, right? Back when they were forcefull, blah blah blah. Congrats to Busch for another superb coaster to compliment an already great park! Btw, great logo as well.
