  1. Nope, Stealth was advertised in cinemas as well, just a longer version of the TV advert. Looks like it's going to be a bit busy on saturday! If only there was a way to ride it some other time
  2. Apparently the blades are spinning rather fast in the theatrical advert airing in cinemas...
  3. An emergency heater?
  4. That is a real shame, easily the best ride they had. It was pulling insane queue's when we were there in the summer. The line was well out the entrance! As said above, another blow for a suffering park...
  5. No worries, Robb's already had his fill...
  6. ^ Yup, I figured it out because of the pictures of the chocolate bars...
  7. We have our fair share of lardy-lads too
  8. My guess would be a flight that's been delayed until 18:15 from YEG. Maybe Toronto? Dave
  9. Around the world/Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger by Daft Punk (live)
  10. DAMMIT! I was just trying to figure out which hotel it was! Have a safe journey Dave
  11. Looks like a pull through. Basically to make sure the safety envelope is big enough. Im liking the tripod supports!
  12. You're kidding right? Well done to whoever figured it out a few pages ago (and Wes before that), but I think a few more people need to say that R&E are going to Thorpe Park before we can call this one Dave "Are you guys going to SAW?" Wilson
  13. I assuming that might be your problem? Dave
  14. ^As I understood it, the sway was programmed rather than the result of loose "suspension". If the car had that much freedom from the track the coaster wouldn't be able to negotiate basic elements...
  15. Of course by implication, the left hand drive cars will drive on the right hand side of the road, to drive them on the left would be ridiculous! Dave
  16. I've been holding back for a while because I wanted everyone else to get their guesses in and feel like they participated but I'm afraid I'm going to have to draw this to a close. Many people have already got this right and I feel it my duty to inform them of the truth. Robb and Elissa are infact going to Thorpe Park. You don't even need the clues to work this one out. Basically, just incase "SAW the ride" opens earlier than expected they have factored in an extra week of redundancy time in which they will ride the one new credit in the UK since they last visited. This is just testament to the amazing preparation and planning that Robb and Elissa put into their trips, thay have allowed for a week of delays on a single flight. You'll also notice that the UK passed a law active from 00:01 on 06/03/09 stating that all cars on UK highways but be left hand drive. It is obvious from the picture of the rental car that they are therefore in the UK. Once again, to everyone who guessed Thorpe Park, you are 100% right. I think I've put this one to rest. Send me a prize please... Dave
  17. Thanks Hector! My proofreading skills are rather crappy
  18. Given the title the fairy gave you last time, you probably should be asking for a new one
  19. Yeah, I'd assume those prices are about right. Make sure you use the normal queue once though, as the fastrack one might miss the actors etc. in the queue
  20. I'm not sure we have a powerful enough "bleep machine"... Great stuff Divv, I've just caught up with the last few updates and there's some really good memories in here Dave
  21. They were gone ages ago! I've come home for reading week because I figure it's a free week! Dave "financial planing" Wilson
  22. Emily, whenever we meet up again, I expect you to break out the MC Hammer pants... As for me, I got a computer and spent the rest of my student loan on it with 3 weeks left of term!
  23. I saw some people talking about Reel Big Fish a few pages ago... They made it to the uk last week and did a university tour, they were really good but IMO the support (Suburban legends) stole the show. I've never been to a gig where the support are even vaguely good, but these guys were (dare I say it!) ska-tastic. They were really energetic, played absolutely perfectly, interacted with the crowd in a non-annoying way and covered "under the sea" really well! Look out for them, and if you're into ska download "Hey DJ"
  24. We tend to do them every few months. If we do them too often less people will participate and they will become less "special". Basically, when we have a great idea, and we feel it's time! Dave
