  1. There doesn't appear to be one, but from there and from pictures on the TPR index, and a POV on TPR TV it's quite easy to figure out. Basically: Lift right turn into drop + vertical loop Dive loop Zero-G Cobra roll turnaround into MCBR small vertical loop tunnel corkscrew brakes Hope that helps Dave
  2. Hey TPR! We thought it would be an awesome idea to have a photoshop contest to re-theme Hard Rock Park to help out new potential buyers! So c'mon, TPR how would YOU re-theme Hard Rock Park? A couple of rules for you: 1. You can upload as many photos as you want, but you can only enter *ONE* for official voting. Prior to voting, please edit your post to say "Official Entry #1" under the photo you want entered. 2. Keep the photos "PG-13" 3. Submissions must be in by 2/18 when voting for the winner will start Here is the HRP page from the park index that you can get some pictures from to help you. As usual, the winner will get a TPR bag 'O crap! Happy photoshopping!
  3. ^ If this is your point then you're just stating the obvious. Or am I too missing something? Dave

  5. ^ I'll try and head out for Liesberg, even if i can't do the whole trip! Awesome title by the way, the fairy must really love you! Dave
  6. I believe the brakes will be on a slightly steeper incline than the B&M gradients of late. This will allow the mystery coaster to negotiate nearby rides in the mystery park. Hope that helps...
  7. I think it's more likely that flats will go on that land if they make it park of the publically accessable park. The problem with the west of the park is that's the residential side so it could be harder to push a louder ride through planning. Dave "still a TP fanboy" Wilson
  8. No. Firstly, it's not a huge piece of land, secondly it's a new infill and would need about a year to settle, thirdly they haven't filed planning yet and it would be odd to have the track made before planning was granted. Oh yeah there's also the new coaster that's already built and ready for '09 Dave
  9. Balder and T-Express are currently taunting me! Dave
  10. I would assume X was used more to match the noise of the trains and the passengers rather than to indicate the new coaster will be particularly similar. If i remember correctly Thorpe Park used vortex as a noise case study for one of their coasters... Dave
  11. The part number does appear to denote the model of the coaster. This one is SC, so we can assume a Sitting Coaster or a Stand-up Coaster. I know which of the two i'd bet on! Dave
  12. It might be an idea to get more than two days and make the ticket non-expiring. The initial cost is more, but each individual day is a LOT less, so as long as you will at some point be back at Disney, it does make sense
  13. When i was out there in October '07 we did 2 parks a day at Disney and got all the major stuff in. I think 1 day is pushing it really...
  14. Rather than pump money into that dump, they should sell up and get the hell out. A coaster won't save that park. Dave
  15. This seems an awful lot for "spare track"...
  16. To make it safe enough, the launch would probably have to be very slow. Plus, they already have a accelerator coaster so a new one might take the edge off RITA.
  17. ^^^^Mike, are you implying that the first part of the eurofighter isn't rubbish?!?! Erm, quite similar?
  18. I believe the sound as the train crests the hill is the sound of disappointment and sighs of riders bored to death by the overly trimmed and rather monotonous hyper.
  19. I really like these graphs (the natural geek is flowing out...). I hope to get a section up and running in the park index at some point giving similar graphs for as many coasters as we can! One thing to note though, the values won't be too accurate as the device was on your body rather than attached to the train. Whenever the rider is thrown in a certain direction, the iTouch will measure a spike larger than the one actually generated by the ride. The iTouch also only measures in to planes. Great results however and a very interesting graph. Thanks for sharing And thanks saxman47 for making the data readable! Dave
  20. ^ But your current title is so good! Why would you want to ruin a good thing?
  21. I'm not exactly sure (I uploaded some pretty big files from the video forum no problems) but I'd assume you should stick to the video forum rule of under 40 megs Dave "but I could be wrong" Wilson
  22. This server is FAAAAST!! Dave "two thumbs up from England" Wilson
  23. Aah yes, but I believe the correct term is "populating" the database. You must use more robust language when referring to the index Larry!
