  1. As someone who has read all the books and seen all the movies I was somewhat confused the first few times that I rode Forbidden Journey. It really is a VERY chaotic, random ride. I think it was by the 4th time I rode the ride, I figured out the general idea of the ride's storyline. I can not imagine how difficult it is to follow the storyline for someone who does not know a thing about Potter. I like the ride, but I honestly think that this a huge problem. I sure hope that they can improve on the narrative for USH's version as well as drop the frequency of the movie sections. Three of these sections is simply too much IMO. This would be my original review here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=37453&p=906256&hilit=universal#p906228
  2. I am sure that they are still filming the movie.
  3. Should be good! I still have not visited this park yet. This addition will get me to go.
  4. I got to ride Jaws three times yesterday. I am happy to say that all of the fire effects are currently working. Actually, the entire attraction is working really great right now. Still very sorry to see it go.
  5. Cheetah Chase was the last one I rode. I plan on riding a few more this weekend.
  6. Wow, kind of surprised about this. While it is true that Jaws has closed in the past for a while during the off-season, I never thought that it would go for good. Sad to see this go.
  7. I never knew that Circus World had the prototype.
  8. This was one of my favorite Photo TR's Larry. Thanks for posting this! I really hope that I am able to make it up there once they finish. Chuck (as in cfc) really should buy that Batman poster.
  9. The lights are simply amazing. Thanks for posting this!
  10. I guess you can no longer say that Dragon Fire is all alone in some barren field.
  11. I am glad that you guys having been posting your show again. This needs to happen a lot more often.
  12. Wild Adventures is getting rid of the Boomerrang? IMO, it still is the best Boomerrang I have ever ridden.
  13. There is no way I am going shopping at 4 in the morning.
  14. I can vouch that I also had a crappy ride that day. I was pretty surprised because it was running ok when they just put in the new trains. But again, we are still talking about Gwazi.
  15. I do not think that there is wrestling this year.
  16. I actually did not ride any of the rides while I was there. I instead spent my money on fair food. The crowds were very light that evening. I remember the fair being a lot larger and more crowded when I was younger.
  17. Nice TR! Those are some super cheap ride tickets!
  18. After taking a year off, the local county fair, simply known as The Alachua County Fair, has started back up this week. Just two hours north of the theme park capital of the world, you can find this fair in Gainesville, Florida. I wanted to share with you some photos but it is required that you listen to the theme song at least once while you view the photos. Sure, you will probably want to kill me after listening to it for about 4 seconds because you will never be able to forget it. The song will reside in and eat away at your brain for the rest of your life. Just ask Elissa! AlachuaCountyFairSong.wmv Amazing Alachua County Fair Song Tonight's admission was only two cans of food! We're going to the fair! So, that is how we get our milk. Everything that you wanted to know about chickens. This year's winners included a hand made bulldozer. A super cute.....awwwww....photo of a rodent. And a super evil looking horse! We missed the Kachunga show. Kachunga is a man eating gator if you did not know. How many times have you seen a travelling sea lion show? Let us check out the rides. This would be the ride company. BCA for short. More intimidating than Intimidator! It is a combination of a mirror maze and a fun house. It has to be great if you can win a Domo. Not as good as the one at Knoebels. Any good park or fair must have one of these....right? Just in case if you have never seen one before. The fair actually has two credits this year. Dragon Wagon! The other would be a Wacky Worm. It might be the fastest Wacky Worm on the planet. See anything you would like to win? Ass kissing ass? Just one more month....Muhahahaha! Is that legal in public? There were a lot of special animal exhibits this year. This can not be good for you. Deep fried Oreo Twinkie? I guess a few must have escaped Angus's clutches. This is what the game looks like. Even at the fair, you can win giant stuffed animals that you have no idea what you would do with it once you got it home. The round-up had a strobe light in the middle of it. RCT 4: The Fair Edition. Wow, they have one of these? I never seen one of these before. It is like a cross of a paratrooper and a scrambler. Probably the worst photo of Ring of Fire ever taken. Gravitron: Thriller? I guess 2000 is so last decade. Nitro! Scorpion does go backwards as well. Can't you tell? The Music Express, AKA Rock & Roll, was the most popular ride of the evening. Super Fast! Dark Ride! Oh wait....really? Awwwwwwoooooooo! Guess the classic monster movie. I have no idea what she is from. This one is a bit easier. Dr. Suess rip off fun house. Everything suddenly closed down in about a 15 second period. Must be closing time. We finish up with a final photo of a spider.
  19. Mindbender at the West Edmonton Mall Nemesis at Alton Towers
  20. The indoor section is a lot larger than I expected. I figure that I should go visit the park to go ride once it opens.
  21. This is true. I would have never heard of this place if it was not for your Photo: TR a few years back. I need to go back to place again.
  22. Sprite! It is my go-to soda for when I do not want caffine.
  23. Hooray for another Larry update! I agree that there should be more Larry Photo TRs.
