  1. I too really liked Transformers: The Ride. I thought it was just as good as Spiderman, as the two rides are very similar in execution. It is also very easy to follow the action/storyline even if you are not familiar with the license.
  2. A group of us is going to meet up at 3am this morning to line up for the park. If any other TPR members are interested, feel free to post.
  3. Minor refurb. Updated the two Indy's to look more life-like (and they do), and a few minor things. When I went Sunday with Divv, lots of lights weren't working, timing was a bit off in the blowing darts, rat room was seriously messed up, etc... F On our first ride, the ball room didn't move. Second time, the room moved, but the ball wasn't rolling. It really needs a good 3-4 month rehab, and add the damn smoke ring!! The rat room was seriously messed up. I think that they forgot to turn on the "on" switch. Some of the other rooms were so dark due to missing lights. On the other hand Pirates looked quite good. This trip has been the first time my folks have been to the park and I had to laugh that they both commented how abrupt the ending is on Snow White. So far, it has been a good visit.
  4. The scene where Bond fights a big snake in Moonraker was one of the scenes. Jeff Bridges AKA "The Dude" grew up there due to his father had a popular TV show filmed there as well. I have not been there in years, other than stopping there for work. What, no Wild Waters photos?
  5. Indy is in serious need for an extensive refurb.
  6. The drop on Monster Mansion is very short, maybe three to five feet.
  7. That is an excellent question. I think the worst park day (or partial day) I ever experienced was at Six Flags America (of all places) a few years ago. I stopped there with some friends on opening day while en route to Great Adventure. It took forever to get one guy's pass processed, and he needed every credit in the park. Well, he got Wild One--that's it. To top it off, one of our group was evaced off of Joker's Jinx, and park security and local cops had to drag some pervert out of the Superman line (he was groping teenage girls). To be fair, this is the only "bad" day I've had at that park, but I haven't been back since. At least I finally did get my Joker's Jynx credit! Yeah, I would have to agree with Chuck that was a pretty horrible Park day. The worst was how horrible they were running the flash pass line for Superman. After an hour wait, we gave up.
  8. Like I needed an excuse to re-visit one of my favorite parks. Looks like another trip is going to happen.
  9. ^ Yeah, I was about to say. I saw that slinky thing back in 2006.
  10. On GASM make sure you sit on a non wheel seat (middle row in each car) and you will do fine. I find the the exact center of train does give you a pleasent ride. As for Cyclone and Ninja make sure you ride in the front seat of the very last car. Anywhere else is death. I actually do like Cyclone, but just expect for some violent, jarring airtime on it.
  11. Thanks Joey! It is the coolest $80.00 donation I have ever given! Good Luck!
  12. If I can pick them up at the front gate on Thursday the 14th. I will chip in the additional $70.
  13. This is awesome. Even if I do not win, I really look forward to finally going to the park for the first time a week from tommorrow.
  14. I simply can not remember. Do anyone know if there is some sort of seating for Fantasmic? I will be there on The 12th and I noticed that there are two shows. I would assume that the second show would be less crowded. Is the fireworks show still the cool "tribute to the attractions" version?
  15. About the Chinese foot photo. I remember while living in Taiwan that in many of the public parks that there were rock gardens that you could walk on with your feet without shoes. Apparently, when you massage certain sections of your feet by walking on these rocks it helps to promote good health or to help adjust those systems in your body. The picture is a diagram of which pressure points of the foot are connected to those other systems in your body.
  16. Well I may have a chance to get Thunder Run sometime in the near future. I certainly thought that the wAterpark potion of the park was really good. I honestly think that T2 should be scrapped, it was terrible.
