  1. It really has been a long time since I have updated this thread. I honestly have not been able to hit the Orlando parks as much as I used to, but I thought it would be fun to revive this thread with a few new photos. It is always good to remember where you park. New constructions walls are now up around the front entrance into the Potter area. This is where the rumored expansion of the train area is supposed to be. I finally got to check out the new ride. I thought it was a pretty good replacement for Jimmy Neutron. There are a lot of new cranes around the park. This one is working on the rumored Transformers: The Ride attraction. They are really moving fast on this attraction. Looks like the have done quite a bit of work on the 2nd phase of Potter Land. Another big crane. Potterland: Phase 2 Potterland Phase 2. Halloween Horror Nights starts in a few days. Clever. It is true in that the construction for Transformers is going on 24/7. Night time construction shot. Working hard at night. The night time show did remind me a lot of a smaller budget World of Color. Night time new attraction. Boy, has the park changed. It is almost time for HHN!
  2. Yeah, it really needed forsworn show scene to make it feel complete. Oh well.
  3. Yeah, Dead Exposure us still one of my favorite mazes in the last five years. I will be looking forward to this one as well.
  4. While not thrilling, I find Cheetah Hunt to be a fun extreme family coaster. My favorite part is also the section through the rapids.
  5. The Mini-UK tour looks like the perfect trip for me next year. I would really love to do Japan or return to Taiwan in the future, but I think those will have to wait another time. Just to watch everyone ride Gravity Max in Taiwan would be worth the price of the trip.
  6. The City Museum is a super crazy, unique, as well as fun museum in the heart of St. Louis. It basically is a large jungle gym for adults. TPR rents out the place during one of the tour dates.
  7. The only reason why this version is shorter is that they took out that 5 hour long, "War and Peace" helix. This looks good!! I love NTAG so I know this will be good.
  8. I forgot about these and I am not sure if you want them. Here are a few pictures of Taiwan's Window on China taken back in 1999. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=17759&p=37345&hilit=Taiwan#p37345
  9. Good to see that you posted another awesome trip report. Your kids are growing up so fast. I guess it now has been 4 years since I had help in earning my Taxi Jam credit.
  10. Why in the world would they want to change the Country Bears? It is not like the show is very long to begin with.
  11. Anyone else notice a possible ride name/type that is underlined in one of those coming soon sign photos?
  12. I though GASM was running well last weekend. I had two rides on it, both in the third cars(middle and back rows).
  13. Wow, I am really losing my hair! I think I will wear my hat all the time now.
  14. Probably 45min in the Flash Pass line for Supernan ROS at Six Flags America. We never got on the ride because it would have taken at least another thirty minutes to get on it.
  15. Time to do a brand new update for Wild Adventures! I swung by for a few hours to see what has been added since my last visit for a media day in 2010. You can find that trip report right here: http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=54955 They continue to keep improving the park's infrastructure in which I will showcase in my photos as well as a nice surprise for 2013. Operations still are so much better than the old days, as pretty much every ride was in operation including all of the coasters. FYI, Fiesta Express has been removed from the park as well as the kiddie log flume ride. Anyways, let us begin with photos. Also known as Zombieland. Wild Adventures is still removing any bug references from the old children's area. I am so sorry Elissa. Ant Farm Express is one of the remaining rides that still has the original bug themed name. It really is a true roller skater. Many of the rides received updated signs. They really should add zombies to the ride. It looks like something new will be added for next season. Hmmmmm.... I wonder.... Construction zone! The Vekoma SLC received a brand new paint job as well as a new name. Yes, it still is the best Vekoma SLC I have ridden, and I have ridden a lot. I think that they went with these new colors since it is fairly close to the water park. The station. Long shot. One more. Cheetah continues to run pretty well after the super referb 2 years ago. The G Trains though shake a bit more. The first drop. Cheetah! The waterpark section of the park continues to grow. These attraction were added in 2011. These would be the names. The waterpark really has a ton of attractions now, and yes it is included with your regular park admission. You can now rent a cabana. Check out what is included! A row of cabanas. The lazy river has been updated as well. New signage and planter. The deck around the lake has been completely replaced last year. Deck Part 2 Deck Part 3 It looks to me that the Boomerang also recently received a new paint job. Boomerang. This is one of the new shows for this season. Yes, it has a really catchy song as well. The show involves animals... Animal #2 As well as fun family games. She is supposed to pop the balloons with her porcupine hat. Sloth! For me, the tiger show is my favorite. The collection here are really special. Awwww...... New bathroom near Cheetah. An all new Halloween event is going to start this season. There were signs for it all over the park. Phobia is now a thing of the past, this is the new replacement. In another year or so, this will be covered with vines. We had to ride this. I understand that these are great to help you escape from zombies. That is it for this update. I really like how the parks keeps making improvements. I am curious to see what they add for next season.
  16. Here you go Larry! Also for the record, Fiesta Express as well as Frontier Flume have been retired. Twisted Typhoon rules sign. Twisted Typhoon. Twisted Typhoon's new paint job.
  17. I hope the next ride they build will be called The Key Master.
  18. Thank you Robb and Elissa as well as the staff of SFOG for another awesome event! I hope that it continues to be an annual event. The water challenge certainly was crazy. The water in my cup never made it past the first drop.
  19. If you did not like Dare Devil Dive, you probably would not care much for any of the others.
  20. Fantastic photos! It really was a great event!
  21. Thank you Robb and Elissa for the amazing time I had this weekend. I really enjoyed the Busch Gardens backstage tour as well as the amazing ERT sessions. See you all at the next bash.
  22. Rumor is you will still have your chance the next time you are in Missouri.
  23. Outlaw is my most anticipated coaster for 2013.
