  1. I am hoping the theme park and Olympic park area will be maintained unlike the Bejing park. Quantum Leap sounds like a cool name.
  2. I love the artwork and excited for this park. I think the Alien vs. Predator ride will be interesting.
  3. cool. It does that that FCE-look to it and I am glad you were able to reuse the tower structures as DW park did...lol
  4. I am really looking forward to this when it is released. If it doesn't happen at the end of the year, I am ok with that. I am sure the NL team wants to ensure that all the bugs or any issues are fixed and I thank them for the effort and time they put into this new version!
  5. I think once the ride is completed the park will replant some additional trees they lost.
  6. I LOVE Europa Park! This will be a great addition to the park. I hope to visit again in 2014.
  7. Love the photos! Thanks for sharing. I REALLY need to head to the other side of the pond and hit up the Gold Coast!
  8. I like the visuals of the park so far. I love the detail work.
  9. ^REO Speedwagon, BareNaked Ladies, and Willie Nelson.....for that matter, may improve attendance..lol Willie probably can't remember most of the words to his songs anyway.
  10. Perhaps they are going to wait until AFTER the holiday season....or?-they may have a huge announcement New Years Eve...hmmm
  11. Looking forward to the new restaurant selections. Cowfish sounds rather interesting.
  12. ^Interesting article. Best quote from reading it: "If there’s a lesson to be learned from this, it’s that we live in a society saturated with double standards."
  13. Have yet to add this ride to my coaster count, but hopefully someday soon!
  14. Awesome photos! Love the look of KBF all decorated for the holidays. Snoopy rocks on skates..lol
  15. Yeah, I agree. The bands are just doing this for publicity. At this point it is becoming almost comical that all of these bands are backing out. I am sure CNN will put this on its news segment and have a comment or two about Blackfish and this is the result.
  16. Great photos!-thanks for sharing. I am looking forward to this ride next season.
  17. At first, I was not impressed with the station, but now its coming along!
  18. I really like how this park is turning out!
  19. I love the last video when the snow arrived at the park!! It almost look like a ghost town from the earlier activity in the video.
  20. That looks nice. Enjoying the colors as well!
  21. I enjoyed watching the video posted on screamscape with Dennis Speigel talking about the zoo animals around the Safari area back in the day.... Link:
  22. I enjoyed all of those as stated in above posts. One I am fond of is the Led Zeppelin music @HRP even if the ride was not that great
  23. my top 5: -performing a ride escort (training) during high winds and slight amount of snowflakes atop of Griffon @BGW. Lift was swaying back and forth pretty good, but I enjoyed it. -riding Alpengeist in a heavy downpour/thunderstorm....my eyes still remember that ride. -test ride Big Bad Wolf when the ride had a shutdown (air pressure switch) and a huge thunderstorm hit. -Manta (SWO) in a heavy downpour. -Working at BGW when a massive thunderstorm hit and a tree fell onto the track on Nessie near #2 lift (was last train to return to station).
  24. Many readers have already posted comments similar to my reasons (trip packages, trip reports, etc)...but, one of the reasons I enjoy this site over many others is the respect-value parks have for Robb/Elissa and the TPR members and vice versa. Whether is its getting permission to film POV shots or special access to normally off-limit areas, amusement park operators/owners trust TPR and its members in that we all love parks/coasters. Some of the other media sites are generally out to be "first" in releasing information about a new coaster (most times in an unprofessional manner and/or without parks consent). Media outlets and even ride manufacturers tend to lean to Robb and TPR for video footage, park/ride advice and even special appearances for ride related incidents. TPR moderators also keep the site classy with keeping the posted rules in check as well as seek advice or suggestions for future site upgrades and enhancements. Most of all? TPR members must have a sense of humor as the disclaimer advertises.
  25. Heart is another band that is dropping out of the concert line up, but I think the marketing department will recover with adding other performances or promotions to attract attendance to its current line up. I also think all of this will all blow over in time. Will attendance drop? Sure-it is starting the slow part of the season, but I don't think the park is in jeopardy as these so-called 'experts' predict SW parks demise. The kids eat up the Shamu shows and the timing may be good that SW is doing major overhaul/maintenance on the Shamu tank area. By the time it reopens, the crowds will return.
