  1. No doubt SFSTL was way nicer and cleaner in the 1970's. Parks just seemed to have more heart in that era.
  2. Am I the only one who sees awfully long lines for Kraken every time I go? (OK, Ive only been twice, but it might as well have been TTD).
  3. I also agree with Dailey (I'm so agreeable), I thought Kennywood was overrated.
  4. Couldn't agree more about BGT. Spot on.
  5. Yeah, I guess we don't put our most impressive areas right along the highway. Give me a break.
  6. He didn't say it about the park. He said it about the city. I've lived in ST. Louis my whole - I love it - that's just uncalled for.
  7. What's with insulting St. Louis?
  8. 1. Disneyland 2. Cedar Point 3. IOA 4. Knoebel's 5. Magic Kingdom 6. Epcot 7. SF Great America 8. Indiana Beach 9. SFOT 10. Silver Dollar City
  9. SFSTL is mine, and quite far from my favorite, which is that one on Harbor Blvd. in the O.C., ...what's it called? .I forget.....
  10. This makes me really want to go back to SFGam. It seems to be the type of park that the SF chain really wants to be. An expansive park with an average to above-average flats/water ride selection; more than one quality re-rideable coasters; good coaster selection; above average scenery ( i.e. SWTerritory); ...shows..and whatever...Bugs Bunny, Tweety, Foghorn Cleghorne, Yogi (Berra), Scooby, Scrappy, Scooby Dum, .. etc. Sadly, they can't come close to reproducing this, one of the best parks in the 48 contiguous (Six Flags Nome excluded), in the rest of the chain.
  11. I don't mean to be argumentative (I know they are only opinions), but how is Hersheypark boring? 11 coasters, including one world class Intamin launched, a TON of flats, a working chocolate factory, a free zoo, some good food, not to mention beautiful and clean scenery and landscaping........I think maybe some people need to visit some ACTUAL crappy parks.
  12. I agree with Scaparri that what I would consider the worst parks are the ones that fall well below their expectations. SFKK would seem to be the obvious answer for me based on what I experienced, but I didn't expect much going in anyway. Kings Island would have to be the one park that fell WAY below my expectations, so I vote for PKI.
  13. I kept refusing to look at this TR because I looked at the title and was afraid I was going to see a shirtless Cedric the Entertainer in a hot tub!
  14. Ride Boomerang. Simply a one-of-a-kind, nothing-else-in-the-world-like-it ride experience
  15. 4/10 and i guessed on all but one! 56/100 60/100 on two older ones
  16. The Shins last Sunday
  17. I like the restraints on Tig'rr Coaster......oh, wait.............
  18. I gotta give props to the tacos at Indiana Beach. And I got a really good steak at the France pavilion in Epcot.
  19. I'll step up and admit, one of those was me. Absolutely will not happen again. Sorry!
  20. Indiana Beach coming over the suspended bridge is quite impressive, but I gotta say Cedar Point is easily the best view that Ive seen.
  21. T2, Mind Eraser...ok, any Vekoma SLC
