My pet peeve is when parks take out classic dark rides for cartoony replacements (although I know the reason, I think they take much of the charm away from the park). Perfect examples - Phantom Theater to Scooby Doo The Old Mill to Garfield's Nightmare i.e. the worst dark ride ever (my Led Zeppelin blacklight poster from 1984 was more exciting)

I'm not sure I consider KI a "bad" park, but I'm hard-pressed to come up with even one good reason to go back........ok, maybe Drop Zone. CP? I'm hard-pressed to come up with any negatives.........ok, maybe Mean Streak

If you have one day, DLPark is the best bet in the U.S. In one normal day, you can experience just about every classic Disney attraction (many in their superior to-WDW-versions). WDW is a far superior vacation destination where you can spend a week and still not see everything the resort has to offer.

I scared of terrorism, cancer, crime, nuclear war, natural disasters, the Bush administration, heart disease, poisoned beef, IDS, snakes, spiders, bears...... ....nope, sorry, amusement rides are not on my list.....

Am I really the one person who thinks Americans spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars to fly to the Middle East to ride roller coasters is insane?!

I've gotten burgers at the JR in the Mall of America twice and they were great. I had a burger at Cedar Point's JR and it was the worst sit-down restaurant burger I've ever had. For this reason, I don't buy chain food in theme parks. I'll try their own food....if it sucks, I'll either not be back for a decade or know better next time.

The "Laughing Place" area of the ride is actually haunted by actor James Baskett (aka Uncle Remus)

I was in line for Mantis, and I heard a GP scad mention that "This ride is awesome".....how droll.....I wanted to throw my glass of Merlot in his face......

I love the idea....it means more goobers in line for the show and fewer in line for TOT!!

4/10, but according to this quiz there is no Jack Rabbit at Celebration City...

I thought the single rider line on Expedition Everest was awesome (when they actually use it). I got like 3 rides in a half hour on a busy Spring Break day in '06.

The comparisons to SDC and DW seem insulting to those parks. They have historically been two of the best-run parks in the U.S. Sure they both have a hillbilly theme, but Dogpatch appeared to be the real thing. I've been going to SDC since the 70s, and it was never even close to as cheesy as Dogpatch had to have been. Not meaning to be argumentative, but I hate that comparison. Its like comparing Martin's Fantasy Island to IOA or Fantasyland in the MK because they have the same "theme". But these pictures are awesome, and that would have been an interesting place to go and see real hillybilly fun!

What makes Tomorrowland so clunky is the presence of rides like Autopia (it wasn't even futuristic in 1955), Nemo, Matterhorn, heck even Star Tours ("a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away"). The theme is so watered down unlike the other lands. It has some great attractions, but doesn't feel any more immersive than a number of other themed lands at non-Disney parks.

The only answer is ....duh....bring back the C.O.P.!
