*IF* Resorts World actually opens, the Rock in Rio festival site can get more shows besides just the Rock in Rio one, and SLS somehow manages to survive...I think someone will finally buy that eyesore.

^The power of filtration! Still can't wait to visit your park this summer! -
I'm all in for Matt Cassel to win the job and lead the Bills to the Super Bowl. Disclosure: he went to my high school.

WDW Disney's Hollywood Studios Discussion Thread
Jew replied to Jose Eber's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It was built specifically to compete with Universal Orlando, since Eisner was at Universal when UO was under construction and wanted to counter it. My guess is that Studios remains in the name, since so many of the attractions are tied to movies or television. -

Seems like movie backlot has become the best use for the property! -
Twisted Colossus = RMC. RMC = insane. Therefore, Twisted Colossus = insane. It's the Transitive Property of Equality. Although RMC has yet to build any sub-par coasters, it just seems extremely fanboy-ish to say a roller coaster will be good just because of the manufacturer. Same idea for Schwarzkopf coasters; while many are generally fairly highly regarded, it seems that some enthusiasts refuse to believe they aren't slices of heaven in 1970's steel track form. Two disclaimers on this *I understand you were joking a bit, but I've noticed this as a recent trend that I'm not a fan of. It's funny because nowadays it's just the opposite for B&M as some assume they are garbage until they ride it themselves **I am not at all saying Schwarzkopf's are bad coasters. Many of them are awesome, but people act like they are the best invention since the wheel... like saying Whizzer at SF Great America is the best coaster in the park. Until proven otherwise, I think it is a safe assumption that any RMC ride will be a kick ass ride. You know what you're getting. RMC coasters are the new Intamin hypers.

I like the concept of 24 hour events for WDW. Since the majority of WDW guests are on vacation, having the park available for a full 24 hours means they can really enjoy their day without the constraints of worrying about the park closing! -

Might have to take a BUR-SLC flight and finally check out Lagoon at some point this summer. -
Summer Job at a park (SFA)
Jew replied to Password121's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I would say that if you want to make theme parks a career, you just need to get your foot in the door and learn as much as possible. I'd say that more often than not, higher levels of management actually work their way up through various departments rather than sticking with one department and hoping it works out. The more knowledge you have, the more valuable you become. -
If the Transformers movies can make money, I have no doubt this will still make a fortune---even if it does suck.
