Dance 360 was the most ridiculous show ever. Basically the audience chanted "Tag Your Man" and "3-6-ooooo", "wiggers" did break dancing moves in a circle, then the winner gave "shout outs" at the end of the show. It was amazing. Oh...and it was hosted by Kel. And the prize was $360 (how clever)+an X-box.

So Dueling Dragons must suck because you can see a lot of things that would qualify as "bad show" (including the show building of the castle you were just inside of!) on the ride? If the parking garage was right smack dab in the middle of the ride and I can't focus anywhere else but the parking garage, that would be one thing. But I personally don't have a problem with things not being completely immersive (although it only adds that much more to a ride when it is) because I *KNOW* I'm at a theme park and can still focus on the ride itself. It's still pretty damn immersive, and I highly doubt many people get off the ride thinking "I couldn't have gone to Jurassic Park because I saw the parking structure and ended up back in the Studio Center when I was off the ride!!" It's still cooler to see an SUV fall. That's all that matters. Crates? PoTC has been hanging barrels over my head and trying to fool me into thinking they will fall on me for my entire life!

"Space Mountain will become RockIt Mountain at (insert time here)." Problem solved...at least that problem. The poor CM's who close at Space probably won't be going home till 2AM on a nighly basis! I'm willing to bet that when RockIt Mountain does open, guest surveys will show a small % of guests that didn't know/care they were riding a different ride, an even smaller % of guests upset they didn't get to experience the normal space mountain (and the park won't have a problem giving those guests a few free exit passes to keep them happy), but the majority of the guests will know exactly what they just rode because the marketing department will make sure they know exactly what RockIt Mountain is. Oh, and just so everyone is clear: the RockIt Mountain being used at Grad Nite is NOT the final product, nor was it ever intended to be the final product. They basically got caught with their pants down having advertised RockIt Mountain being ready for grad nite before they decided to delay its opening. Personally I find them to be the most f*cked up ride I have been on so far. Something about being 200ft in the air (or whatever the Hansa Park one is) and only secured by a standard chairswing lapbar thing+standard chairswing chains is just a wee bit unsettling...

I dig the fact that this appears to be a portable model. Portable roller coaster designs have been real boring (for the most part) for a long time. Hopefully this will catch on, and the launch system can be used for other types of awesome portable coasters as well.
