I haven't been on one of these rides yet. Unfortunately it sounds like I might not ever be able to at this rate!

I've never had a good ride on X or X2. Always been rough, but now just seems brutal.

Can anyone remember a more poorly officiated playoffs? The questionable delay of game for the Kings, the questionable interference calls on the Kings and disallowed Hawks goal, the disallowed Kings goal because the ref is stupid and lost sight of the puck when it was clearly still loose...it's ugly all around. As a Kings fan, I am not using the refs as an excuse, since they've been badly outplayed lately, but man...can we please go a night without the refs being mentioned?

They are a Coke park. I wouldn't doubt there is a tie in, especially if it saves or gets them even more money on the distribution deal.

^Uhm...I'm pretty sure hosting a Super Bowl doesn't lead to mass destruction of a city, considering most of the events of Super Bowl week are corporate parties. And tickets are ridiculously expensive to the game itself. It's definitely not a Raiders game. I would imagine that the park will be hosting one of those corporate parties, or opening up in a limited capacity to host the NFL fan fest that accompanies the Super Bowl. Right now I'm sure everything is just in the "blue sky" phase, where there's lots of ideas but no concrete plans.

^I'm sure that number will continue to fluctuate as they go through more rubble. The lower it goes the better.

I have friends who are EMT's for theme parks, so yes, I know people who have regularly saved lives at theme parks and water parks. You name, they've seen it.

Yolo is, for whatever reason, still alive in the theme park world. It seems many Six Flags parks have yolo glasses, and Cedar Fair parks have yolo shirts. Not really sure why each chain thinks people still say it seriously. I get that they're trying to keep up with current trends and cater to them but it really only takes a Google search (and a tiny bit of common sense) to realize that most people think yolo is just plain dumb. Stupid sells. Always has, always will.

I rode The Beast in pouring ride. It made a bad ride even worse. Hated it.

The thing is, lazy defensemen absolutely abused it prior to the lockout. Icing at least requires some skill to find a way to get it out of the zone. Flipping the puck out of play is the easy way out.
