  1. I don't think attendance will be dropping for any of the major theme parks any time soon. It's been constant growth for the whole industry.
  2. You're not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. All Knott's has to do is look at the quoted posts and they'll know that you posted something that you shouldn't have. Just realized we're going off-topic here. I'm looking forward to Linus Launcher opening. I like the "flying" flat rides at carnivals so this should be fun. Kite flyers are terribly uncomfortable IMO. Maybe it's not as bad for kids.
  3. Ah yeah hadn't looked back in the forum. Also, most people don't arrive in the morning. And you made me remember about Diagon Alley! I guess we'll see how many people actually buy park hopper tix. The park puts the early opening as the main thing on their website when they offer it. Morning is getting more busy with each busy season..
  4. Knott's is a locals park for the OC/IE area. They aren't trying to do anything except improve the experience for their target demographic, which they are doing a good job of IMO. Bringing back more themeing, overhauling the food menus, rehabbing their classic attractions, and adding more family rides....
  5. ^I think that still depends on how and when you visit. JP, TF, ROTM, and DM offer single rider lines and if you get there at opening wait times will be very low. There has also been plenty of discussion about WWoHP in this thread, so you are not reporting anything new. Diagon Alley is going to skewer the numbers in UO's favor...
  6. Sounds like this is replacing the at one time planned Vegas outpost of the Atlantis resort next to Circus Circus. Curious to see how they are going to keep it generating revenue the rest of the year...
  7. Vegas and San Diego.
  8. It's been too long since I've been to Liseberg! Helix looks like tons of fun...I need to get back!
  9. How was your Experience with MagicBands Robb and Elissa's experience with the MagicBands is well documented in this thread! (They liked it)
  10. ^It overlaps with HHN, so it's a perfect excuse to visit!
  11. Typically it's the syrup that parks get dirt cheap or free and the cups they pay for.
  12. ^I think what he is trying to say is another ride like GhostRider or Xcelerator that are themed and fit the area would be nice.
  13. That sums up the Kings so far...
  14. It's still there...it's just a shell of its former self. It used to have two levels and was connected by bridges to Peanuts Playhouse (which was used for Haunt every year).
  15. I hope they make a tasting card for West Coast Bash! That's actually a really neat (and delicious) concept...I really want to visit the park just for that!
  16. Has anyone taken the time to read all the facespace updates? Quagmire's and Mort's are pretty funny.
  17. Last year was pretty successful for the company: http://investors.sixflags.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=61629&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=1901176&highlight=
  18. The stock is at $40/share. Not sure what you are talking about...
  19. Still wish they'd restore the cave area of Camp Snoopy, but none-the-less everything they are doing looks great.
  20. Same for me. Probably a "we're sorry you can't visit anyone's town" gift.
  21. Unrelated: Royal Caribbean is giving L.A another shot in 2015!
  22. That's why going to minor league games is so fun...the promotions are unique and service/food items/etc. are usually really good!
  23. I'm not so sure that is good news. It's a CCI and it's been SBNO for so long...aside from a complete rebuild, I'm not confident the ride can be saved!
  24. Hopefully it's not down too long, as I'm sure we can all use the extra coins and occasional clam!
