one of, if not the dullest coaster i've been on. You feel more forces when you get out of bed quickly. Nemesis Inferno isn't dull it may not be the best B&M, with only 4 inversions, but no way is it dull, if you want dull Go ride the Big One. Anyway nice TR so far martin -

It has been sold to a park in south america, but no news of whats replacing it.... Plus with the Ropers battle Oblivion might have to be redesigned or removed, X sector is gonna change in a big way i think...... -

As it will be busy head towards Spinball Wizzer first, most of the public usually head for Nemesis and Air on the far side of the park, then Oblivion hop on the cable car and go to Nemesis and Air, then go for Rita as it has the longest queues, do the main rides first then you might be lucky and get a few re-rides. Get there early and stay till the last minute..... -

Oakwood Pic and Video TR......

Thanks for enjoying the video, it did help the weather was good for filming it....... -
Ok Oakwood this time and as Robb has not long posted a TR from there I will keep it short. Oakwood Video We decided to go to Oakwood in the evening as they have late nights now for August, and as it is school holidays it was surprisingly quiet. So off we went straight to Speed. I have ridden a Eurofighter coaster in Bobbejaanland last year Typhoon and that was good but Speed rocked. First the drop was a little bit bigger than Typhoon and the overal speed of the ride was much better which gave massive airtime on the hump after the drop. Into a loop then a quick barrel roll and some nice high G helix turns to end, very smooth and fast and a great addition to Oakwood...... next was Megaphobia last time i rode this it had rained very heavily and the ride was as smooth as a babies butt, this time it was dry for days before and it had got a bit bumpier but it was still a class coaster to ride and we had plenty of re-rides on it. Next was Bounce, I really didn't think much of this ride compared to some of the other rides we have been on ie. Ice Blast at Blackpool it didn't have the power or drop speed but we didn't have to queue at all for it so it got rode. Ok last ride to talk about is Hydro (ride of death). Since the new restraints have been put on it, it seems to take ages to ride it now they wait till at least 12 adults are onboard before they let you go, so one ride was enough as time was against us. It still has a great feeling of tipping over and the splash is awesome and extremely wet for all riders, so it is still fun and worth changing restraints for safety. Overal Oakwood is most prob the best of the rest in the UK after the Tussauds and Blackpool mafias and if they add a few more rides or coasters they will give the others a run for their money. Fire as it runs a lot smoother than ice, but ice can run better in the cold for some reason........ -

Ok this was the third time i had come to Southport to ride Traumatizer and both times before it had been shut so i drove to Blackpool instead. But this time it was open so in we went. Pleasureland is a small compact park and even though it was hot, it was very quiet which was a surprise. As the park is small it wont take you a long time to get around so plenty of re-rides for us today. Pleasureland Southport video So first things first off to Traumatizer. This ride really stands out in this park as everything else is dwarfed by it. It is a fast ride a bit bumpy but no where nere as bumpy as say Colossus at Thorpe park, so it was a really good ride. With 6 inversions there was enough for any upsidedown junkie. Traumatizer i think is one of the best inverts we have in the uk after the B&M's OF Tussards. Cyclone is the big woody of the two in the park and has an S shape lift hill a lot of warp factor going on there. It wasn't bad a bit slow, but a nice bunny hop section at the end just before the station. This is sort of like wild mouse in Blackpool but a lot bumpier, the air time was very good but hurt. With only a seatbelt under you armpits it makes it feel unsafe but isn't bad. Wild Cat was the smoothest Pinfari coaster i have been on so far, i was quite shocked how nice it rode. We had a few re-rides on this as it was so good. Just for you credit whores out there....... Overal Southport was a good little park and as they were only charging £10 to get in it was a bargin.
