Dollywood is one of the greatest parks in the world. If you haven't been, you really need to make a trip there. I've been there twice, and am really hoping to visit again next year. dt

I have returned from my epic week (more or less) in Orlando. I'm tired, bruised, injured, have new scars, don't need to eat for about a month, and cannot wait to do it again. This is always my favorite week of the year. I didn't take too many pictures, except of food. Probably because I was constantly eating! Seriously, Food & Wine is something everyone should do at least once. It is so much fun. And I would totally move to the country of Cheese... dt

Just got home a bit ago from my two day drive, and had to post to say that BGB WAS AWESOME! Cheetah Hunt was a lot of fun, the coaster tour was great, and I really liked HOS. And...I COULD ACTUALLY DO MAZES THIS YEAR! My eyes have finally healed enough from all the surgery that I can go into haunt mazes and actually see stuff. I thought Vampire Casino was the best house of the night (the talent inside were very aggressive!), but all the houses were fun. And the roaming zombies ruled! One of the best days I've ever had at BGT. Thanks, Robb, Elissa, and everyone else involved for the awesome fun. And I even got a few Ice Bat photos... dt

Loved this update. One of my goals in life is still to be a chainsaw guy at one of these events for an evening. Though I suppose I could just roam around my neighborhood with a chainsaw, though I doubt it would be the same. And likely involve a lot more paperwork... dt

This is amazing. It's like they sat down and said "what's the worst crap we can come up with?" and then did it! The only thing they missed was some sort of pool filled with Bud Light surrounded by statues of NASCAR drivers. Or a ship-board WalMart. dt

I'm excited that after many, many eye surgeries, my eyes have healed and I can actually go into mazes/dark areas again. It's been awhile. Though I still have to avoid anything with lots of strobes. So Ice Bat & I are ready to see the houses! dt

Interesting idea, though we really know nothing at this point. The construction date is far enough away that only about a billion things can change. I agree that Studios DESPERATELY needs one or more new major attractions! That park really seems neglected. And yes, a Star Wars land would be hugely popular. I am still holding out hope for the announcement of Dinosaur 2: More Dinosauring, though I'm probably alone on this one... dt

And I would just like to point out that I spent $3.50 or so on that six pack for him. I was also amused that the rest of the six pack was consumed. This leads me to believe that some people will drink anything... dt

Was just about to post this thought. I love the name and the logo. Would be even more awesome if they built a giant Leviathan creature outside the queue, like Kraken or Dueling Dragons. Of course, it would be even better the the Leviathan monster ate random children and line jumpers, but they probably cannot get the permits to have it do something cool like that. Ah well... dt

I can't think of anything else like this. The two coasters at CW are so similar, I can't think of any other park I've visited/read about where two such huge, expensive additions that were so similar were added in such a short time frame. The water park additions are not similar, and I sort of discount wooden coasters, as the layouts are usually different enough. Like Robb, I do think this was originally planned for another park in the CF chain (Knott's would be my guess, as a hyper has been rumored there for years) and for whatever reason that plan was pushed back, so the money was spent elsewhere in the chain. This does happen all the time, so a scenario like this wouldn't surprise me. dt
