JimmyBo's Photo and Video Trip Report: TPR Spain Tour
Tömmioh replied to JimmyBo's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Yeah, great TR Jimmybo! I agree that the cathedral was awesomely beautiful though unfinished, without the about 500 feet tall cross spire thing etc. Anyway, I enjoyed this TR and it brought back some good memories. Good job! -
Photo TR: Yet Another TPR Spain/Mini-Europe One
Tömmioh replied to BeatleBen's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Yeah saw that, I guess she could've like lost a bet or something and therefore had to wear that and her friends are supporting her or then she's a local spanish star which her 'friends' or stalkers idolize or then she might really be Snow white eitherway. Nice TR Ben! -
Abercrombie & Fitch gone too far..
Tömmioh replied to DarkStitch626's topic in Random, Random, Random
Well said. Yeah the whole really worn, ripped-apart jeans-look is very much the last year's fashion, so yeah it's a really bad 'move' from A&F and especially for their 'trendy higher class'(?)image to bring up those jeans now and try to sell them. Wes: I don't know if that's one of your jokes, hehe but I would say that those jeans costs 149.00$ as I've got a pair of Energie jeans and seen lots of their other jeans, they cost around 75-130€ here, so I would think they've just 'forgotten' to put a mark between the 9 and the 00's, or then the jeans are made of some golden threads or have like 14700$ spending money in the pockets or something, lol. -
What is your next park?
Tömmioh replied to onewheeled999's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Most likely Tusenfryd, next Thursday or Saturday or /and Liseberg somewhere within two weeks! (I am currently in Sweden) -
Mine is just a random pic I made with photoshop. So far my avatars have only been pics I've taken or 'done', dunno why really, it just feels right somehow Btw, I'm getting tired of this one and should change it quite soon.

Thanks for all the updates Robb! Great times at parks and great times at bars. Unluckily I missed that wedding afterparty, looked like fun, hehe, I just had to get more than the average of 6 hours of sleep... btw. Does anyone remember the free sushi, sandwich-plates we got and the bar guy etc. antics on the last night before Mini-europe? Oh yeah I miss Spain. btw.The rapids at Warner Madrid are one of (if not) my favourite rapids ever, so many small fountains, mini things squirting water, it was really fun. And anyone going on a TPR-trip, I promise you'll SO enjoy it and have fun

^looks cool. I spent 1€ on a Kingis ice-cream yesterday(ok, really it was 0.99€, but we don't have 1 cents in Finland so you have to pay more, in this case.) and at the same time I bought a Lion bar for 0.50€.

Zodiac -I thought it was good, interesting, although there was too much talking in the middle of the movie, which felt a bit boring, I enjoyed the movie overall though, 8.5/10 These are a bit older: Saw 3- I've heard lots of people saying that this third is crap, I don't think so. It was alright imo, better than the reviews I've heard and read, some bits of the movie were a bit annoying though, but yeah, bearly worth the watch. 6.5/10 the Departed - I liked this a lot, although they could've cut down a few F-words, lol. Also it felt quite long, but the ending was surprising and it was great overall. 9.5/10.

Riverview, Idora, Palisades, SFAW, because they looked nice and had coasters that I would've liked to ride. Another park is Planet Fun Fun in Finland, which was just 3 miles away from me (operated from 1991-95) and featured an indoor Vekoma custom coaster The coaster is now in Germany, click me.

Hello, On Friday the 13th, we flew to the Netherlands/Holland for a big family and friends party over the weekend. I figured that why not go to Walibi World, when it's on the way. We (me and my sister) ended up getting there at around 00:53 pm and we left 5:10pm (the park closed 5pm). Meaning that we had only around 4 hours time. The weather was really nice and sunny, over 23 degrees C, 77F. We got on the all of the coaster's except for the kiddie Wok's Waanzin, which didn't even seem to be open when we walked around it. Rides and Queues: Coasters: Goliath x 2 - 10 mins, 20 mins. El Concussion (El Condor) - 70 mins *. Robin Hood - 2 mins. La Via Volta (Boomerang) - walk-on Flying Dutchman Goldmine - 10 mins. Xpress - 10 mins. Crazy River - 8 mins. Big Wheel - 4 mins. El Condor was the second coaster we rode (Xpress was the first and first coaster of 2007, yay! ) after Xpress' short queue we were quite shocked when we had already been queing 30 mins for El Condor as the queue didn't look that long. After the ride we (at least I) were stressed, because at this rate we would only get on 3 rides more, luckily the other queues were much shorter. It's annoying that we didn't have more time since almost all flat rides were walk-on and Goliath had such a short queue all day. The visit would've been great if we had an hour more or so, but yeah it was still good. Anyway, here are some photos: Finally, this is how the world looks like if you're: A. Slightly drunk. B. Jeff Johnson C. an old camera out of focus. Thanks for reading everyone! Nice themeing and, you there, quit staring at me dirty oval-eyed lamppost. Ha! I got you! Good airtime there. Stupid hiding camouflage train. Aaah. Goliath, how good are you?, in my top 5 that good are you. Cute castle and nice lake. Robin Hood seems to be approaching, quietly. Now, make your move! Go ahead, steal the money!!! mwahahahhaahaa Nicely themed Top Spin peeing in many fine arches. But where's the toilet paper? Oh yeah, that's why there's so much wood here. Wind power! yeah! Robin Hood power! yeah! Wood power! no. I was positively surprised by this ride, a bit shaky, yes, but still quite good for being in Vekomaland. Twelve Flags Holland! NO!! not you again!, well at least I don't see people suffering from severe head kicking any more. MY FIRST SLC EVER! next ride please! My first ever 'real' Boomerang, next ride please! A nice saloon, beside a worn out looking abandoned house, beside an even older looking building made of, yeah you guessed right. Turtle toenails? No, wood. Even more wood and trash bins. Double Drop, with little airtime, little splash. Boring caption # 35. More wood and trash cans, which makes me think about a hard equation, more wood= more trash? well not in this case, Robin Hood, was shaky but alright. Suddenly we are in the Sherwood forest, with wood, surprising, eh? Goliath and a right arm, which isn't David's, or who knows?? Mmm... nice curvy bits. You know what's missing in this picture? A three-headed albino Giraffe, of course! The entrance to Alibi world, where all thiefs, murders and law-breakers run to get an alibi. Lots of criminal people walking away, happy with their fresh alibis. Really the park had just closed, when I took this photo. What's that? The loner? No! The Orange nude kangaroo type of creature? No! It's Goliath THROUGH THE TREES!!! At Harderwijk train station. The express bus (20-25 mins.) to the park, and the magic apple.

Photo TR: Walibi World Opening Day
Tömmioh replied to Quote1990's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Nice TR, good photos. How long were the queues?, and was every ride open (except for Crazy River and Robin Hood in the beginning of the day) ? I'm just curious as I'll be there next Friday. -
^ Speaking of Tesco's I love their own shandy, we don't have any shandy over here, (except in some pubs of course) and about 1.10£ for a 6 pack* is a very nice price (*when I was there in '05). Anyway, my last soda was a regular good coke, if you don't count the horrendously awful, über bitter- side tasting Red Bull-light I tried yesterday, will never do that again.

I don't really like sitting at the last row, I know on many coasters the forces are experienced most strongly at the back, but still somehow, I can't really explain it, it just isn't my favourite place to sit. I tend to sit quite in the middle, closer to the front. If possible (there's no extra queue for the first row) then I'll obviously sit in the first row.

I didn't drink my can of cheap Madcroc energy drink today.

Finland: 18 to drink alcohol, smoke, vote, drive, watch porn, gambling. 15 to play lottery games and common small slot machines (in gasstations, cafe's, shops) where you can win only up to 40€. (the age for buying lottery type of games came last year, before that I had played when 12 yrs, although I never won anything.)
