  1. ^So Joey when you last visited Las Vegas how much did the girls charge you out at the "Bunny Ranch" anyhow?
  2. The beginning part of this video shows some of the coasters at the O.C. Fair. The rest of the video focuses on attractions for the KidTums age set.
  3. Forget the coaster pics, that's the best looking baked potato I've ever seen!
  4. Tim Wakefield is the first AL Pitcher to reach 11 wins! Go Red Sox!
  5. It's hard to believe that something like this could happen, with all of the safety protocols in place. You would assume that after all of the years that the Monorail has operated, that there would be some type of computer backup safety system in place that would know the exact location of all trams currently in operation on the track. But, freak accidents do occur. Disney has a strong bond with its guests, most of whom would never give their safety a second thought while at the parks. I'm sure Disney will spare to expense to ensure that bond remains unchanged.
  6. My Mama always said......"That only Naughty Girls have Tattoos, so stay away from them!"
  7. The folks at Disney have been receiving many requests for a perhaps limited engagement performance of Captain EO. The 3D show had a long run before being replaced by the current "Honey I Shrunk the Audience" Even though it would take a bit of work to return it to Disneyland, the effort would probably be worthwhile for Disney. (In terms of of increased park attendance) I personally always enjoyed Captain EO, and there are probably many people out there who have not seen it. (Other than on U-tube) Most likely it won't happen, but after ten years of "Honey I Shrunk the Audience" I wouldn't mind the return of this Disney classic. http://blogs.ocweekly.com/navelgazing/a-clockwork-orange/eo/
  8. Michael was amazing...............................He's gone way to soon.
  9. ^^Wow that moderator comment couldn't have been more accurate. The photo of the guy in the chair is how I would picture you as well. That was a good article coastdude5, thanks for posting it.
  10. Joe there are mostly guys posting on this site, so we appreciate Fire and Destruction! You don't have to burn your kitchen down, (though if you do, please post photos) but your previous Cooking with Joe reports had more photos involving prep work. (cooking the chicken for example) Since summer has arrived, maybe we could have a 'Barbecueing with Joe'. That could include Fire, Charred Meat, and other good things. In any case, please keep posting your 'Cooking with Joe' reports, I always enjoy reading them.
  11. Kobe does it without Shaq! Great Job! Also Wes doesn't have to wear his Celtics Jersey this year.
  12. Well this is probably the best path for Six Flags to follow. This will allow Shapiro to rebuild Six Flags from the ground up. Get rid of the underperforming parks, and restructure the company for the future.
  13. Hey bluefire thanks for translating the newspaper article. It's great that your local paper would print a story about a bunch of crazed coaster enthusiasts visiting your local park.
  14. ^It's great that these international theme parks have such a unabashed sense of humor. Whereas here in the US everyone is terrified that they may 'offend' someone. People need to not take things so seriously,(or personally) especially when your at a theme park, you should be relaxing and having a fun time. This trip report gets better everyday!
  15. The Red Sox Dominate the Yankees once Again! The Yankees top off-season acquisition pitched a good game, but comes up short at Fenway. This is the Third series sweep in a row for the Red Sox! (I assume that has to be a record.) Until next time, Go Red Sox!!!
  16. Another Great Global Alvey Expedition! It's been fun following you two and your TPR 'crew' through these parks. I hope that KidTums has something waiting for her when she returns back home. (based on that photo caption) It's also good to see Dan posting on the site. You should post a few more of thoses MP3 files, so we can all hear them. You know your running a great web site, when people don't go a day without checking in!
  17. Great trip report. I would imagine that working in that 'empty' environment would be pretty depressing. They'll probably have a high employee turn over rate because of it. You need some stimulation at work, otherwise the hours just crawl by.........................
  18. Good Luck on getting your home, it's definitely better than throwing away your money on rent. $42,000 for a house? Wow what state do I have to move to in order to get that deal? You couldn't even rent a room at someones house here in Orange County, CA for $600.00 per month. Hope it works out for you.
  19. Ah Memories............ I traveled down those cobblestone roads a few years back. Windsor Castle was an amazing site. Some friends and I took the full tour of the castle, and had a great time. I can't recall if the Queen was home or not, I'll have to look at my photos and see if I spot the flag. Thanks for posting!
  20. ^Hey paintballer, So the Red Sox suck do they? Well how have they done against your Yankees this season? Lets see........ The first three game series in Boston.....Break out the Broom because it was a three game sweep for the Red Sox! Next series the Red Sox traveled to New York to play in your new stadium....Break out the Broom Again! Another series sweep for the Red Sox. Of course that second series was Historic, because for the next 50+ years (until the Yankees open another new stadium) it will go down, that for the first game/series in the new Yankee stadium, that it was the Red Sox who were Victorious!!! Well I'm sure it will be a great season for both teams. We'll both be hoping that our teams will meet in the ALCS! Go Red Sox!
  21. Execellent Trip Report! Looks you you guys had a great time. (or know 'How' to have a great time) At least the park didn't look to busy, considering that the summer season is now upon us. Your Disney Adventure seemed very entertaining, you found Hidden Mickeys, and various phallic objects. You had one kid spit at you and another one try to end-it-all. You got to watch an emergency evac of CA Screamin', and one member of your party was banished from Disneyland all together! All and all a trip to remember! Thanks again for posting all the photos. As a season pass holder I'm there several times a month, and I've seen some tipsy people from time to time. (Though not from drinking those watered down Margaritas from DCA) I'm sure you'll be back to Disneyland again in the future.
  22. Manny, Manny, Manny, That Sucks! The Dodgers as of this posting have the best record in baseball, this is going to hurt. If the players know that they will be subjected to random drug tests, why take the chance. I'm sure Manny will try to come up with some BS excuse as to why he tested positive.
  23. Congratulations on the arrival of your son. As Crush from 'Turtle Talk' (who has 65 kids) would say...."Your just getting started". Elissa what if you go Wild with some Hair Gel for Kid Tums. You could spike her hair nice and high, or go with some type of crazy Afro.
  24. I really enjoyed Daniels character on LOST. But, I do believe he is gone for good. After he was shot in the chest he certainly looked dead. (not justed wounded like young Ben) Also, when Daniels mom slapped Widmore, and talks about the sacrifice she made. I wish he wasn't dead, but I'll be very surprised if he's still alive. The show has never flinched at killing off the cast.
  25. Great Trip report so far, can't wait to see the rest. By the way, couldn't help but notice that your hotel room had 'double' beds. Maybe it's finally time to Marry that Nice Girl, so that you could go down to a single bed.
