AND THEN THERE WERE NONE - WEEK 3

Wes represents the embodiment of all that is Evil. He is an impatient self-righteous megalomaniac. Listen, and understand. That Wes is out there. He can't be bargained with. He can't be reasoned with. He doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And he absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead. -
Theme Park Review's 2008 Asia Tour!

I love it, Elissa eats her Hot Dogs 'Predator' style. Is KidTums chowing down on a worldly diet (Sushi, Unagi, and of course the occasional Chicken Head) while she Globe Trots with you? -
I have no issues with the price increase. Disney is always going to raise prices every year, that's the cost of doing business. Granted Disneyland has not added a major e-ticket attraction in over a Decade!!! So they have been milking this fat cash-cow for all its worth. But Disneyland still offers a lot of value for what you pay for, between unique attractions, parades, fireworks etc... I'll continue to renew my annual pass year after year. For myself its money well spent on a little escapism as well as rest and relaxation. Also if I recall correctly, the last time I saw the pricing board at the Disneyland ticket booth, it showed the park hopper price in hugh bold letters in the center of the board. Whereas the individual park price was almost hidden in the lower corner of the board.

Favorite orlando park and why

Islands of Adventure, for all of the reasons others have stated. Islands of Adventure represent the 'Standard' I was hoping to see the first time a visited Disney's California Adventure. This is why the first few years DCA was opened, I actually visited IOA more often. (Eventhough I live twenty minutes away from DCA, vs 3000 miles for IOA.) If they didn't open a new attraction at IOA for years, I wouldn't care because the park IS that good! -
Well Barry, maybe he felt you were Overdue for a good Ass-Kicking! Are You?!

Elissa is a TV Star!!! *updated*
BelizeIt replied to andyuk200523's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hey this thread is going to get Robb in trouble. Melissa may be Robb's 'Stepford Wife' that Elissa isn't aware of yet. -
That was a Fun trip report! You must be thrilled that your oldest daughter is using Pull-ups, that means you're almost free of diapers for at least one of your girls. That alone will save you a small fortune! I have to say that your first photo trip report is off to a great start. You've had some Happy responses, Angry responses, Censorship, and not one but BOTH Alveys have posted in it! Good Job! Keep posting these Random trip reports, there always enjoyable to read. By the way, aren't we overdue for a 'Cooking with Park Trips' report???

The 3 day box office record is Spiderman 3, which grossed around $151 million. Batman has a chance at breaking that record, but it is going to be seen on fewer screens. Spiderman 3 was released before the major summer box office hits were out, whereas Batman has to compete for screens with Hancock etc... The presells are very high, and pretty much everyone I know is going to see it this weekend. So it certainly has an outside chance at the box office record. Plus the reviews have been positive, Rotten Tomatoes has it at 90% positive!!!

So why did you end your employment at this park? Five years is a long time to work for one employer. Was there no room to move up in this organization, or did you just have enough and it was time to move on?

Great Trip Report. I have the sudden urge to break out my 'War Games' DVD. -
Episode--Cabin Fever. 5/08/08 The quote the original author of this thread..........This episode was AMAZING!!! (obeygiant are you still around???) This episode begins by showing us how Ben and Locke are kindred spirits. Both were born premature, to mothers named 'Emily', and neither was raised by their birth mothers. Once again we see that Richard doesn't seem effected by the passage of time. The scene of him looking at baby John at the hospital, seemed like a moment out of the original Twilight Zone TV series. The key scene in tonights episode was when Richard shows up at Locke's foster parents home. I imagine that for the eight month hiatus between now and next years season 5, that this scene will be heavily discussed/debated. So is Claire dead? Time will tell, if I had to guess I would say no, though surviving that rocket attack on her cottage was a bit of a stretch..... Finally, we learn how the Oceanic 6 will be chosen. When Sayid takes the zodiac from the ship to ferry people to and from the island, it's pretty clear that the zodiac should hold about "6" people??? I would speculate that Sayid will make it to the island and pick up 5 additional people and make it back to the boat. But, after he unloads those five (Jack, Kate, Sun, Hurley & Aaron) he'll turns around to go back to the island only to be unable to 'locate' it on the original 305 compass bearing. Because, by that point Locke (following Jacobs instructions) will have "Moved" the island. So Sayid will have no choice but to return to the ship, and that will give us our Oceanic Six.

Nicholas White was coming back from a cigarette break when he got trapped in New York's McGraw-Hill building. The video shows him pacing, trying to climb the walls, lying down, and prying the doors apart. "After a certain amount of time, I knew I was in pretty big trouble because it was the weekend" Nicholas White said Monday on ABC's TV's "Good Morning America" White said he understood why the video has captured peoples attention: So many have wondered what they would do if that happened to them. www.stupidvideos.com/video//Trapped_In_ ... new#144558

2008 Six Flags Souvenir Cup Policy
BelizeIt replied to trek's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Whether you're a season pass holder or just there for the day, the cost probably still works to your advantage. When I'm at Disneyland I believe its $2.89 per drink, which might contain 10 ounces of actual soda. But, some people will always be, how shall we say....... cost-conscious? Just there other day, while I was walking thru the parking lot at Costco, I saw a guy open his trunk and pull out an old coke cup and head towards to outdoor soda refill station. I guess that member felt that after paying once, that he's entitled to free refills for life! -
Hey rollercoastercraziness, If you don't want your topic to be locked, the first thing you need to do is be more descriptive in your title. Just listing it as 'frogielicious' is never going to cut it. You spent a while typing all of that text, and just put a one word title that 99% of the people out there won't know what the heck your talking about.

Happy Birthday, Kristen! AKA KidTums!
BelizeIt replied to ebl's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Happy 1st Birthday KidTums! I guess your next Theme Park Adventure should be to Disneyland. Since your Moms trip to Disneyland the day before you were born no doubt expedited your early arrival! (You were finally tired of missing out on all the fun) You've accomplished a lot during your 1st year, infact you have probably already traveled to more places than half the people who post on this forum. I'm sure this year to come will be a fun one for you! -

BelizeIt replied to Wes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wes, so you don't currently consider yourself 'obsessed' about Theme Parks Etc? You liked Theme Parks as a teen, you currently work for a Theme Park company, have a large collection of Theme Park memorabilia, you travel around the globe with Robb + Elissa, and often spend more time moderating TPR than the Alveys themselves! Sounds a little bit obsessive to me. -

Episode--Eggtown. 2/21/08 This episode starts by Locke asserting himself over Ben. He does this by moving into Ben's village, staying in Ben's house, and sleeping in Ben's bed. (While Ben is tucked away in a dark room) But, Locke still needs Ben, which is why he offers him breakfast. At which point, Ben points out just how desperately Lost Locke is. We see a lot of Kate, including her ability to forgo a prison sentence on Federal/State charges for a lengthly term on probation. Unfortunately for her, the two main men in her life don't seem to be the Fathering types. When Kate tells Sawyer that she's not pregnant, but had she been 'would that have been the worse thing in the world?' Sawyer didn't give the most compassionate response with 'Yes it would'....Ouch! (That's not what a girl wants to hear, even if it's true) As for Jack, he backs away from seeing Aaron, for what reason we can only speculate. Perhaps Claire becomes critically injured and Jack is unable to save her, so she asks Kate/Jack to take care of Aaron? Bens 60 second interaction with Miles was a bit of a let-down, since the only thing Miles wants is money. (I guess if he's willing to shake down Grandma, then why not screw over your freighter buddies as well?) Anyhow, what was interesting was the specific amount he asked for...... We know that Miles has a 'Gift', did he use it to communicate with some of the deceased souls on the Island? In which case, they told him that Ben has that exact amount in Cash somewhere on the Island??? Time will tell..... I also wouldn't be surprised to see Miles in a future episode walking near the beach with a shovel in hand. (To dig up Nikki & Paulo to get to those Diamonds!)

That's a Fun Contest to have among friends. Your friends Leslie + Carlena are clearly 'experienced' Pie Munchers! It looks like you all had a Great time. By the way, why were you the only one wearing one of those Ponchos that the Water-Phobic types (like Dan) wear on the Log rides???

Episode--The Economist. 2/14/08 Well we now know for certain that Sayid is one of the Oceanic Six. The series of Flash Forwards shows an unanticipated future for Sayid. Obviously Ben has convinced Sayid that whomever the people are on his "List" represent a tremendous threat to the Island and hence the Losties still living there. There isn't any other reason that Sayid would be willing to work for Ben, especially as an Assassin. Sayid's deeds trouble him greatly; he clearly feels remorse over what he is doing. When he kills Mr Avellino (the golfer), he walks through the sprinklers, and when he throws away the phone (after talking to Ben) he cleanses his hand with the snow. (The water/snow is meant to wash away his sins.) We learn that Sayid and Elsa are both searching for information about each others bosses. It seemed odd that Elsa uses a beeper (they still make those things?) rather than something more up to date. With all of the different time related theories about Lost, perhaps her boss is transmitting from the past when beepers are commonplace? (Rather than cel-phones) The person who Elsa works for (The Economist) is likely part of the Maxwell Group, since both Elsa and Naomi were found to be wearing the same bracelet. I have to say that I'm enjoying this new group of visitors to the island. Miles (the Ghost Hunter) has a great attitude, I love some of his lines so far........... (To Sayid) "Oh you were on Oceanic flight 815? Wow!" (To Daniel) "Dan if you say one more word, I'm going to break your fingers!" (About Naomi) "Yeah she was hot and I dug her accent"

LOST executive produce Carlton Cuse stated today that they plan to produce FIVE more episodes of season 4. This is three fewer than their original scheduled amount, but that they will make up those three missing episodes by producing a total of 35 shows between seasons 5-6. Cuse also stated that there will be at least a 4 week hiatus between the broadcast of 4x08 and the new 4x09. Well I'm glad the strike is over, lets hope that the writers have been thinking up some ideas while walking the picket line.

Episode--Confirmed Dead. 2/7/08 Abaddon makes another appearance in this episode, most likely representing Dharma. Clearly Abaddon, or whomever he represents is well funded. Since, they managed to stage an airline wreck at the bottom of the ocean, and then send a expedition to film it. The reason to do this is to leave no doubt in the public mind that there were no survivors, hence nobody will continue to "look" for the missing plane. (and perhaps find the island) Since Abaddon has convinced the general public that the plane is unrecoverable, he can now focus his attention on his actual agenda---Ben Linus. (The man who 'purged' Dharma off the island) Abaddon has sent an in a unique group of people to accomplish this task, Dan-(a physicist), Charlotte-(an anthropologist), Miles-(a ghosthunter), Frank (a drunken pilot) and the now deceased Naomi. I believe that the first four have some type of connection to the island, and this is why they were selected. We see Dan watching the television coverage of the wreck at which point he becomes very emotional, to the point that his (wife?) asks him why he's so upset. Miles, has a gift which allows him to communicate with the dead. (perhaps he'll be able to communicate with Jacob?) Charlotte, while examining the Polar Bear Dharma Collar, almost seems to recognize it. (perhaps she has been to the island before, maybe as a child) Lastly, Frank was supposed to have already been on the island, but due to an act of Fate (switching places with his pilot friend Seth) he missed his date with destiny. In anycase, if the island does "Let" people in, then this particular group may have had an easier time getting thru. For decades Ben and his people have been working with Jacob to bring about some type of "end event" for the island. (likely the series finale) Whereas the Dharma (Abaddon) group have been trying to prevent it. The island Let In flight 815, because it needed specific people from that plane to assist them on finishing Bens work. But, since the Oceanic Six are going to leave the island, this is going to cause problems for the island when it comes to reaching its eventual 'end event' goal. As for the speculation about the Oceanic Six, I believe that Sawyer will not be one of them. He will stay on the island, this is why he goes with Locke. Also, we haven't seen Sawyer in any of the flash forward sequences. But! Sawyer will likely be the reason Jack and Hurley will use to convince Kate to go back to the island. She clearly loves him, and won't be able to live with the fact that she left him behind. Finally, in regards to Bens man on the boat, I would have to go with Michael. The way Michael was willing to leave that pier, while his fellow survivors all had guns to their heads, was unacceptable. Hopefully now that Walt is safe, he is trying to do whatever he can to help the castaways. Also, as a side note........When Frank is watching the television coverage about the submerged plane, there was a 800 number listed on the TV for relatives to call. Did you know someone on that plane? Then you better call the flight 815 hotline at 888-548-0034.
