Were they running it with the water jets on? I haven't been yet this year, but maybe they got rid of the water jets on it.

It just looks like a bump from the angle its at, that's part of the heartlining.

Typical Cedar Fair. They fix up a woodie just to brake the hell out of it.... I wish I could've ridden TW when it was new, it had so much airtime last year but it couldn't be enjoyed because of all the jackhammering! And now they fix it so it's smooth again, but now theres no airtime! Oh well, maybe that rumored 2008 GCI will take over the woody torch that TW can barely hold anymore. Great pics BTW!

BGE seems to really know how too keep their rides looking nice! Did Apollo get a new paint job? Nessie and BBW looked great too! I wish I could visit BGE, it's a beautiful park.

They were only using that "makeshift queue" on SToP because the line was so long. Normally you don't go back into that area. I agree that the staff were a lot more friendly this year. Glad to hear you had fun. Nice TR!

I must say I did notice a bit higher quality theming when I was SFStL last Saturday. The Britannia section looked great! I really do think the new SFI and Mark are doing a great job to shape up the parks. All of this sounds great!

If only these 3 are taken out, there is no room to expand the roll. Doing a roll like that @ 70 mph will put a huge strain on the wheels since the RIDER and not the Wheels are @ the COG. I was just going by what the press release said. They said they are only modifying three pieces, and if those pieces are the ones that make up the roll, then the ones I pointed out are the ones being modified. However, you are right that they would need to modify 4 to expand the roll.
