  1. Even more great pics! Dude, you seiously count that Water Ride as a coaster? -Martyn
  2. Thats what I was thinking. How many trains does Velocity have? -Martyn
  3. More great photo's, but again, the Rat Ride isn't a Wild Mouse, its one of them Pinfari Galaxi thingy. -Martyn
  4. When I first heard about it, I thought it would just be sold to another Theme Park chain, but the majority of people are saying it will be closed down as the land is very hot. -Martyn
  5. ^ Rub it in why don't you. -Martyn
  6. Great Photo's, can't wait to see more. Just a few points, Dragon's Fury & Spinball Whizzer are not Mouse coasters, and that train on Oblivion is being re-furbished, the whole ride is. -Martyn
  7. Are you 100% sure? Dollywood are advertising a Vertical Drop coaster, I've followed the construction of nearly all the current Euro-Fighters, and not one of them have advertised them as vertical drop coasters. -Martyn
  8. Is this seriously happening? It seems too unreal to be true, this is a park that I've always wanted to visit, along with Cedar Point, even though I'm British, I'd be absolutely gutted if it closed down, it would be a major blow to all entusiasts all over the world. I really hope that this is some kind of a hoax, or at least another Theme Pakr chain buy it. Why have Six Flags started selling all their parks, it started a while back with the European parks in Holland & Belgium, and now more & more seem to disapearing in America. How many did they own? And how many would they own after the sale of the current 6 parks? -Martyn
  9. Ok, basically, I haven't viewed this topic in while as it just turned into random coaster guessing, which just got annoying after 30 pages. but now theres 80 pages! So as theres an extra 50 pages to when I last viewed, does that mean theres some official news, or is it 50 pages full of guessing? -Martyn
  10. Thats what I thought, its a very greedy idea, and if the GP found out it was a hoax, it would put them off going back ever again. Interesting: http://www.ihatepetitions.com/SaveMM/petition.html -Martyn [edit] *500th Post* w00t
  11. STILL??? That must be the longest paint job in the history of the World. Poor old DM, seemed like knowone enjoyed their day there.# Martyn
  12. After seeing that list, and if theres space, you can pretty much count me in on that trip. I've always wanted to go to America, but I've not liked the thought of driving on the wrong side , there would be lots of accidents! So I've always been looking for organised trips, now there is!WOO HOO! Martyn
  13. I'm very much up for the Spain, I've always wanted to go to the parks there. I may even be up for the Japan Trip, also the Mid-west America trip, w00t, can't wait for next year. Just a quick question, what parks would be features in the Mid-west America trip? Martyn
  14. I'm now interested to find out what your no.1 coaster of the trip was as Nemesis is 3rd. -Martyn
  15. Well this is very different: http://www.gulliverseco-park.org/ Its a park thats going to be completely made out of recycled waste. More of a 'Green' Park than Theme park. But it will have a credit, a Wooden one at that! Hm, a recycled wooden coaster? Interesting Can't wait to see what the ride ops look like -Martyn
  16. That picture of Robb on the Wacky Worm is priceless, the most serious face I've ever seen on him. -Martyn
  17. Tussuards isn't the biggest theme park company in Europe anymore, Grevin & Cie are, I think they own about 18 European parks, including all the Walibi Parks and Pleasurewood Hills in the UK, maybe they could see this as an oppertunity to expand world wide? Just a thought. -Martyn
  18. For those of you who wanted to know what the new Fabbri Spinning coaster looks like at Bottons Pleasure Beach, here you go:
  19. You wanted more walls, you got more walls my friend Thanks to www.dlp.info
  20. Lol, I'm sure Stealth would be even better with a lift hill This is where I think Vekoma have one over Intamin, how many problems or incidents have their launched coasters had compared to Intamins. Also you replace the launch with a lift hill on Vekoma's launched coasters and they'd still be a good ride. Thats Intamins problem, they build their accelerators around the launch. -Martyn
  21. The train didn't stop at the end of the launch track, it did complete the circuit. Heres what Thorpe park said: There was a technical problem with the launch. The As the train left the station there was a problem and the ride was E-Stopped. However by this point the train was nearing the end of the launch run. The brake fins raised and were hit by a moving part of the ride, which is not the train. The train then left the catch car and continued to make a normal circuit. However it did pass slowly over the top. Due to the E-Stop activation the train could not be moved from off-load to load and thus clear the off-load block. Therefore the train came to stop in waiting, and was evacuated. -Martyn
  22. Argh! A whole topic full of photos from Its a Small World Would it not be better for to keep all your updates in 1 topic, just saying because the Mods might have something to say about it! Geez, is there anything you DIDN'T take a picture of? -Martyn
  23. Lou, were you a part of the 'Official UK Trip', or did you just follow them around like Tom? -Martyn
  24. Looks like you guys timed it perfectly to ride Stealth, suffered a major breakdown today, sounds very similar to what happend to KA earlier in the year. -Martyn
