If the rumours are true about it being removed, that signals the end for Lightwater Valley. -Martyn -
Stealth really is a bird killer, the RSPB will be on to Thorpe Park soon. Stealth was closed for an hour a couple of months back beacuse it hit a bird and it got jammed in the train just under the front part, YUCK! Birds normally scatter off when they hear human foot steps, you'd think they'd scatter away after feeling the track rumble when it launches. I can share Fabios experience, but I got a fly stuck on my chin on Stealth and Colossus -Martyn

Just seen Ted's pics of the trip, and I'm very glad to see Robb's lipstick cam on the front of the Ultimate, can't wait to see the POV of the worlds most violent/brutal/vicious coaster, I don't even want to imagine what it was like with over head restraints, I'm surprised they don't require new trains every week, after the second lift-hill all I could hear was bits of the train falling off. I hope LWV don't get rid of it, its a coaster masterpiece. Did you know the second part of the ride was designed and built by British Rail engineers. -Martyn -

Robb, would you say King Solomons Mine is better than the Wild Mouse at Blackpool Pleasure Beach? Another fantastic update, I suppose that wheel of death is the highlight of the trip! -Martyn -

Like I said before them signs are just there to show the locals that they are doing sometihng to reduce noise, they're not actually going to throw you out for screaming. Even though it gives the park a vey bad image, especially to people who haven't been before and think the rule is for real. If I wasn't an entusiast and I had never been to Drayton Manor and heard about these signs, it would definetly put me off going. The really strange thing is that the same thing happened at Alton Towers BUT they put signs up saying "SCREAM, SHOUT your at ALTON TOWERS!!! -Martyn -
Now then I did a search and much to my surprise I didn't find anything. And I've never heard it mentioned on any of the boards. http://www.rcdb.com/id3141.htm According to RCDB its going to be similar to Superman UF, but who knows? Is it even open yet? Theres only a few pics on RCDB and they've been up for a while now, since 2005. Surely someone knows something about it? For all we know it could be their biggest Flyer yet, highly unlikely, infact its near impossible, but it is a custom made Flyer from B&M. Any news on anything to do with Tatsu's little nephew who knowone talks about? -Martyn

Dollywood does look like a very nice park. I've always anted to og to a park on my own, so I can just do what I like, when I like and how I like. So is it 100% confirmed that hte new coaster will be a Euro-Fighter? -Martyn

I can't wait for the Pleasurewood Hills photos, the smallest park on the whole trip, and I bet you had loads of fun! Is there no POV of Enigma, I just thought that as you went to Pleasurewood just for Enigma you'd have to get a POV! No POV of Wild Mouse at Blackpool PB? -Martyn -

Apparantly them signs are just there to show the locals that they are trying to reduce the noise. Although I am trying to imagine what it would be like when a coaster train arrives in the station, people get off the train and the security guards are waiting at the exit Sounds like something to do with Family Guy -Martyn -
Best and Lamest Coaster "Ending"
martinb replied to Teddymonster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Worst: Rollercoaster - Gt Yarmouth Pleasure Beach, if the brake man didn't put the brakes on you woulf get loads of airtime on the last 2 bunny hops, but no, they put the brakes on real hard and you just crwl over them. Best: Big Thunder Mountain DLP, no need to explain, Nrthwnd got it in one(page 7) Space Mountain M2, DLP: that twisted light tunnle followed by the ring of smoke with the flashing lights. Wild Mouse, Blackpool PB, mega airtime where the track just seems to disapear beneath you! -Martyn -

Yet again I'm getting this: Update page has not been added yet. Please check back later. on every Drayton Manor page. Alton Towers has worse noise problems than Drayton Manor, and ever since they've had this problem with the Ropers theres been signs put up around the park saying "SCREAM, SHOUT, your at Alton Towers". But DM has now gone to an all time low in saying screaming on rides will mean removal from the park, I don't think I'll bother visiting this year. -Martyn -

WOO HOO, page 2 & 3 now working for me. When you lot head to Pleasurewood Hills, could someone let me know please if the Huss Condor has arrived yet, pretty please. On the Log Flume at PWH, the bottom of the 2nd lift hill is directly next to the bottom of the 2nd drop, if timed right you'll get just as wet as you do on Hydro and Tidal Wave. Just thought I'd give ya that little tip to remember -Martyn -

^ Although I don't actually think there is a page 8, on page 7 its says at the bottom "click here to view Drayton Manor photos", where as it should say "click here to view page 8 of Alton Towers photos", and theres not many pictures on page 7 so I would prosume thats all of them. But I stiil can't see page 2 & 3 !!! -Martyn -

I apologise in advance for saying horrible things about Speed: Although Speed is so awsome, the area around it has a "cheap" feel to it, the track profiling is a bit crap and just seems very cheap, the cheap style fencing and entrance and take a look at the state of track already, just remember its only 2 months old: -

I can't believe you lot are spending a whole day at Pleasureland, I would have thought you would have gone to whore Camelot in the same day, especially as it is due to close at any time. -Martyn
