  1. Yankee Doodle went to town, riding on a rocket
  2. How come they don't use the second train (or second platform) for Batwing?
  3. Given Togo's track record, I don't doubt that Viper was a terrible coaster, but I never got a chance to experience its awfulness. I have however ridden Big Apple/Manhattan Express (another Togo trainwreck) and rank it as my least favorite coaster I've ridden of all time. For those that have ridden both, how much worse was SFGadv's Viper compare again Big Apple/Manhattan Express? They were both real bad, but I felt that Viper was worse. Manhattan Express seems worse because first they rob you (with the price) then the ride rapes you. Wasn't Viper frequently not operating because they weren't able to get replacement parts from TOGO? And what of it's predecessor 'Ultra Twister' . . . was that a bad coaster as well?
  4. Wasn't the fatal Lightning Loops accident in 1987 the result of the ride attendant NOT making sure the woman was properly secured?
  5. Which park in the SF chain generally has the best (and worse) ops?
  6. Is it usually the first weekend in May that CP opens for the season? (I assume it's that way because it's on Lake Erie and the weather would be colder in April)
  7. I'll admit . . . . Ragin Cajun at SFA wasn't too exciting to me (in fact, I nearly dozed off on it).
  8. Yes, and yes. My recollection of Z & KK is . . . . Z can't be raised until KK clears the hill and KK can't be launched until Z has cleared 3/4 of it's drop?
  9. I know at SFA (at least on the Wild One) that the ride op announces "Once the airgates open, you have 30 seconds to board".
  10. Well when I finally made it back up to GAdv last year (I had went as a youngblood), I was so damn thrilled with Toro, Batman, NITRO, etc. And I was grinning from ear to ear on Zumanjaro I'll definitely be back this season . . . and I'll likely get a FP (does Platinum still offer double rides? If not, it doesn't really matter because the wait time with platinum is short anyhow)
  11. Hey now . . . when it comes to coasters . . . I like full frontal and rear end action
  12. As I said above, I once waited 3 hours for X2. I don't plan on ever doing that again. If I know a line is more than an hour, I usually don't wait. Was X2 worth that long of a wait?
  13. Both have B&M's . . . . Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags New England
  14. His FB page says he left SF with people posting goodbyes and best of luck in China... I'm thinking true. Ah ok . . . I was asking because someone posted a video of the stunt show from the 23rd and noted it was his last show.
  15. Supposedly, I've read that the longtime performer/current head of entertainment Brad Irish is leaving SFA. True or not?
  16. I don't mind. I only get buzzed because of my belt buckle.
  17. Hopefully they'll do the smart thing and have certain hours be VR only (like with Mind Eraser at SFA)
  18. You have friendly debates about . . . . Lap Bars vs OTSR
  19. Abandoned parks in Ohio . . . Cedar Point and . . . Six Flags Magic Mountain
  20. If you do take out Grandstand . . . what would you put in it's place? (or would you convert it to a floorless coaster)
  21. 1. I was hoping WW:LOT would be ready by Memorial day weekend . . . . 2. I typically go on Saturdays, early season isn't really that crowded, but as it gets to summer . . . crowds do increase
  22. Sunscreen/shorts for the summer months . . . long sleeves/jacket for Fall/winter
  23. B&M's with 2 inversions . . . . Dorney Park and Coney Island
