  1. ^ Unfortunately, the shaking and rattling seems all too common among the newer B&M coasters I've been on. Not sure what they've changed, but it doesn't make sense. Also, Dominator was over rated. So are Sheikra, X and Shivering Timbers.
  2. Yo, I'm totally down. And I voted.
  3. ^ Nah, that one's dated '07. I always thought Robb's was red? or maybe it was denim? Robb? care to chime in?
  4. Here's a little something:
  5. OOOH! OOH! I'll bring the Civic!
  6. 2007 Civic coupe, Silver.
  7. The Voyage Holiday World Boulder Dash Lake Compounce Phoenix Knoebel's Raven Holiday World Shivering Timbers Michigan's Adventure Coaster Playland Cornball Express Indiana Beach 7 of them, not in really any order.
  8. A guy at work just told me that he'd sell me his Mossberg 500 12g with the extended tube and tactical finish, for $125. He's also got a S&W 626 .357 with a 4" barrel for $350. I'd say those are pretty decent purchases.
  9. ^^ and ^ Agreed about stationary, non-living targets. I couldn't hunt animals, because I would feel so bad doing it. Even the "varmints" like ground hogs and the like are just too innocent and the like. Yeah, yeah - it's pathetic, I know.
  10. You know, I really want to snag one of those, because the idea of a tiny keg is really awesome. It's too bad I can only find them filled with skunk water, I mean Heineken.
  11. ^ What the hell are you doing?
  12. I just grabbed the new[est] Dillinger Escape Plan CD (Ire Works) last night. I've listened to that a few times, it's pretty good.
  13. I haven't auditioned for anything in a very, very long time. I can't even remember, to be honest. When was the last time you had a whey protein shake?
  14. X and Son of Beast, the only 2 coasters I've ever said I'd never ride again and have actually stuck to my word.
  15. Body: Canon EOS 10D with battery/vertical grip. Lenses (by order of favorites): Sigma EX-DG HSM 19-35mm f/2.8 (wide angle) Canon 50mm f/1.8 (prime) Quantaray 70-300mm f/4.0 (long range telephoto with Macro) Sigma EX-DG (non-HSM) 28-70mm f/2.8 (small-ish telephoto). I'm working on a new flash with bounce/swivel, and backdrops plus constant-on and strobe lighting for indoor photography. Here's one of my non-coaster shots. The band's name is Ark Peninsula. © 2007 Josh Wozny - Ghost Labs
  16. Fair enough question, though I don't really "get" the point of the rolling eyes. Because I like to go shooting. It's a hobby of mine. If we're going down that road, what is the real point in liking roller coasters, or doing anything that you enjoy, right? I spend an hour or so at the range on a Saturday morning with my dad or some friends, and it's enjoyable. It's not like I'm going around trying to kill people, but I guess if I ever absolutely *had* to defend myself, I would know how. (I know it'll never happen, but it's better to know what you're doing than not, right?)
  17. One would think that keeping your socks on would do nothing but keep the "germs" hanging around your feet longer than if you went barefoot, anyway. A sock is absorbent, and doesn't seem to be very protective. Then again, what do I know?
  18. I'm getting off work in 45 minutes, and as far as I know, it has snowed and sleeted all night long. Hopefully, my drive home goes OK, because I'm BEAT, and just want to go to bed right now.
  19. Yeah, there's already some chatter going on about "TPR members and their influence on the ballot". Why is there so much drama in the world of liking roller coasters?
  20. Well, considering I searched for the terms "guns", "shooting" and "firing", and nothing came up, I figured I was in the clear. This also isn't a "favorites" thread, but whatever.
  21. Did a search and couldn't find anything, so I figured I'd start a conversation. Anyone who knows me, knows I enjoy firing a gun from time to time. I have owned a few, but mainly it's always been a handgun. My personal preference is all things Glock (call me a fanboy, go ahead), though I do enjoy a good Smith and Wesson .357 revolver. Currently, I own a Glock 23, .40 Semi-Automatic pistol. I used to have a 17 (9mm) but I'm much more of a fan of the .40 for its massive "boom" power. So, anyone else like to shoot or own any guns you care to share? Here's what mine looks like: For those who don't know Glocks, yes - that is a "plastic" handle. It's actually steel reinforced polymer, and it weighs next to nothing.

  23. Here's what you do: 1.) Fill glass with ice. 2.) Pour Vodka or whatever 80+ proof liquor you prefer over said ice. 3.) Swish alcohol around to kill all germs. 4.) Enjoy a tasty beverage. 5.) Repeat with all remaining glasses, and then carry on. Sounds like a good idea to me.
  24. Just a couple that I have on hand. Yeah, I was pretty close on this one. Jen thought for sure I was going to lose my camera, but I was safely outside the fence. Believe it or not, this lost in a CP photo contest to a collage..
  25. ^ I like #13. She's hot. Also Cuddy is a FOX.
