No, don't know where you can get discounts, but It's not exactly the entrance fee that gets you ($45 or so I think), but it's the food. Bring at least $10 a meal for just a piece of pizza.

Ah yes, got this a few weeks ago and it's very helpful. Before I would always get yelled at for how I put the tupperware away in the cupboard. lol Needs a bit more adhesion to the shelf though in my case.....

Just finally going through and checking out your videos and I noticed that the Alton Towers video won't download. I get a 404 Error when I try to download it. I don't know about the others though..... Jason

well, what I do is just go into MSPaint and go to Image > Stretch/Skew and do like 50 % on each. Or maybe you'd like to go 75 %, just your preference. And it'll resize the image.

NEWS: Lab to test 'sasquatch' hair

No one will ever believe anything until we have a body part, most likely a dead carcass. But, as these aren't found very readily, the necesity for a gun arises. And then you run into laws. At least one county has an actual law against shooting them, depending on what they actually are, you could be commiting a homicide, and from the best estimates in population, you'd also be shooting an endangered animal. -
This isn't right. Actually the closest it has been for a long time and will be for a long time was some time last year, but this is another close encounter. Mars will look as big as the Moon in a telescope. Somewhere I saw an official NASA release debunking this E-Mail that's going around. It'll be bright and big, but you won't be able to see anything but a bright red pinprick.

Depends on what part of Cali you're talking about. If you're talking about up in the Sierra Nevada or the Trinity Alps, probably 55 highs, if you're talking San Diego, probably 65 highs, if you're talking Desert region, probalby 95 highs. Depends.

Well, pucechan, to answer your question about studying us on Earth, why do we study civilizations of say, Ants? They don't really pertain to civilization as humans, so why do it? We're curious, and I'm sure any Alien race who would find Earth would like to study it as well. Either study us or make a sitcom about us. As for believing in them, yes I do. I kind of proclaim myself a mini "expert" in these subjects because I listen to Coast To Coast AM a lot, which deals in these types of things, the paranormal. I believe that there are aliens out there somewhere, and I also believe that they have visited us. Sure, people make stuff up and mistake regular occurances for Alien Spacecraft, but not all of them can be fake. The Phoenix Lights, Mexico City occurances, those types of sightings by multiple people multiple nights are hard to explain. Even if the explanation is "Balloons with flashlights in them." ........right........

Thank you, it was under Profile Settings and Posting for any others who are looking for this.

I'm sorry if this question has been asked before, but why doesn't my signature show up? Is it just to me or is there some button that I need to click to have it show up? Thanks to any who answer. EDIT: As I post I see there is an option to attach my signature, so does that mean I have to click that every time or is there an automatic attach button somewhere in my profile?

So how was Eddie Money? Was actually pondering going there before I remembered that it was over a hill that my car won't make it over. And did something else anyways....wasn't free but was good enough. I was there a few weeks back when Colin Hay performed (Not for his performance though!). And yeah the lines were pretty short, 10 for Double Shot and barely on an incline for the Dipper. And a few questions, how late did you stay? And, was the last car of the Dipper roped off?

Coasters at Night
WalrusMan replied to Erik Johnson's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Last time I was at SCBB, I arrived about 8 pm, rode the Double Shot a few times so it was about 9 when I finally made my way over to the Giant Dipper which had the back to rows roped off. And the only reason I could think of is that it was running fast because I didn't see any chunky material that people wouldn't sit on. And lemme tell you it must have worn in well because it was running fast. So yeah, that's my favourite night ride. And Top Gun, if PGA was ever open at night anymore. -

Why do Frank Prior and Fredrick Church
WalrusMan replied to crispy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I beleive that many Prior and Chruch patents were used on the Giant Dipper, hence it being "designed" by them. And then "built" by Mr. Looff. But no matter who designed it....... THANK YOU! -
For the most part if you stay in the more tourist attraction areas, you'll be fine. Sure there are more pick pocketers there, but there are more tourists. Most areas around SF are ok from what I've experienced. The South Bay Area is pretty good, just have to stay in good areas in Oakland, North Bay is good too. In SF I'd say stick to the northern side or be in your car.

Wow, $3 for beers at a ballpark. Don't remember how much they were at Municipal Stadium, a minor league park like that one, but at SBC I can remember they were like $7. -
How many old video games do you remember???

I've heard about the commercials but I've tried to find them and cant. I'll have to dig that game out and play it again.
