  1. Out of the Boomerang and Invertigo I've ridden, I prefer either. I didn't find either of them very rough. I've ridden SFMW's Boomerang and PGA's Invertigo, and both of them were smooth enough for me to enjoy them.
  2. And as Mark Twain once said, "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco." Amen to that. Not all of California is bathing suit weather all the time.
  3. Oh yeah one more thing....Dipper opened in for a short time in 1924 so that would make it 81 years old, not 75. Woot! Go Dipper!
  4. Yeah, the Bay Area parks aren't like the SoCal parks. Up here the temps are in the high 50s and low 60s during winter and mostly foggy until at least noon sometimes it stays foggy the whole day. It just wouldn't be worth it.
  5. Don't get me wrong, I like the park, but I just think that at this point it's a waste of a very fun mine train, and very cool mini car track, and some cool trees. But I think in the future they can expand to become something like a Holiday World, they just need the rides. Excelent area, the city dwellers can get out of the city a bit and see the plants for the little kids and older folk and the teens would have the thrill rides.
  6. Great video, would liked to have seen more onride of the Dipper though. Greatest ride out there. The grease in the first half of the tunnel, that's like a religious experience there.
  7. I think it's more worth it to drive to Yosemite. It won't take more than 5 hours or so, have a nice few days in the valley, and get away from the crowds you'll get in SF and Monterey. I hope you'll be hitting SCBB either while in Monterey or on your way there.
  8. Well, if you're going to be down south, then there's not much hope of coming up north. It's a 6 hour drive at least to PGA, so I'd allow at least 7 with kids, 8 to SFMW, 10 if you hit any kind of traffic. If it's an extended vacation I think it's worth it to ride Medusa, see the Marine World part of SFMW, ride Top Gun, and Hit the Boardwalk for some family fun. If you do have the time and want to do les coastery stuff, hit Yosemite, 3 hours from PGA (overnight camp or lodge), or drive back down CA-1 instead of doing US-101 or I-5. Very scenic drive, one of the best coastal highways anywhere.
  9. Bought copy, not pirated. My grandpa doesn't even know you can do that. Haha. Thanks for your help, I sent him an E-Mail stating your suggestions and asking your questions.
  10. My grandpa was trying to install Photoshop Elements onto his computer and he couldn't install it. It would stop after 24% and he'd get an error message. The Error message he got was something like this.... INS5576 error in 2DATA151.DLL INS5576 will now close And it closes the installation. Anyone know what could be wrong? He does have Windows ME so could be part of it, but I don't know. Thanks to any who can answer this.
  11. Bartender: "Hey, is he 18?" Brian: "The drinking age is 21." Bartender: "Oh."
  12. Who do I want to win the world series? The Giants. But since they're not in it, I dunno, but the teams I don't want winning are: Braves: 1993 sucked.... Angels: 2002 sucked.... Padres: 2005 sucked.... Astros: 2004 sucked.... White Sox: 1918 rules and 1954 sucks.... So that leaves the Cards, Sox, and Yanks. Don't care.
  13. I don't have a square to spare! LOL I take my Seinfeld seriously.
  14. I think what they clinched was a tie but I can't be sure. Now they have clinched it. http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/standings/index.jsp
  15. Some from the new movie... "It's a wanna-bang-o." "Isn't there an 'o' in Cuntry?" "Much better than the time we went to Vegas and saw the Jew Man Group" *cue the blue dancing Jews*
  16. There aren't any bleeped out words. Not in my version. Actually it seems it was made during their canceled year(s?) because in the beginning of the movie they're talking about what they did on their "vacation." Definetly an owner.
  17. Giant Dipper @ Santa Cruz used P&C patents heavily and is sometimes touted as a P&C coaster, but was really designed by Mr. Looff himself. Although it's said to be very reminiscent of the Bobs coasters that P&C designed.
  18. No, the tiebreaker is a game that needs to be played. There is a coin toss for home field advantage in that game, but that's it.
  19. It is amazing considering we've gone 11 - 4 since he's gone back I think, and in 2 of those losses he was a pinch hitter, so starting we've gone 10 - 2!
  20. Sorry for the double post but.... Ouch for you.
  21. Unbelieveable game for the Giants. Down 2-1 in the 9th inning against Trevor Hoffman (Trevor Hoffman here people) and the Giants get a hit from Alfonzo, then Winn hits a ball that would have gone out but Giles knocks it down, scoring Alfonzo, Winn to third. Then Vizquel walks and Snow hits one through the infield, scoring Winn. 3-2 then. Bonds gets out, but who cares, we're winning! Benitez gets the last 3 outs and the Giants are one game closer to winning the division. Only 3 games back now. Unbelievable. Amazing.
