The Who - Tommy (one of the greatest ever)
The Beatles - Abbey Road, Let It Be...Naked, The Beatles (The White Album)
Led Zeppelin - I, IV
Nirvana - Nevermind
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
Great albums right there, have Abbey Road, Let It Be, The Beatles, and I on vinyl....great to listen to lol.
And on a Tommy note, glad I don't have an Uncle Ernie.
First pre-college student I think replying.
I'm planning on attending the famous West Valley Community College.
Dunno what I'm going to major in, interested a bit in teaching, don't know what though.....
Why am I going there? Cheap.
Well, I'm sure sometime or another when I'm riding a coaster there is an earthquake somewhere....that should count I guess.
Anywhos, I don't think anything would happen.
All people who believe Day After Tomorow can't happen, think again. That movie was actually based on a book, The Coming Global Superstorm, by Art Bell and some other dude. There are scientists who think that there will actually be a global superstorm, like in Day After Tomorow, because of Global Warming. And essentially, global warming will propel us into another ice age if the superstorm happens in the winter. According to them. Very interesting reading.
Best station around here, all about 98.5 KFOX (KUFX). Not only beacuse a good classic rock station, the morning DJ is great. Greg Kihn used to be a famous (well semi-famous) artist back in the 80s.

The Loma Priete 1989 was actually a 6.7 I think. I was in my crib.
Only one I've felt was a few years ago, a 4.1 in Gilroy and it just made a sound. I want to experience a big one.
And per week, the Bay Area of California gets between 50 and 100. That's right per week. Most of these are in the 1 area, but a few are 2s lol.
Morgan trains themselves aren't the problem. It's the wheel assemblies that cause the trains to have bad tracking. From what I've heard, Giant Dipper @ Belmont Park and from what I've experienced, Giant Dipper @ Santa Cruz are really smooth. The difference between those trains and your standard Morgan trains? The Dipper's have flanged wheels instead of side wheels.
Wow quick response.
On your Giant Dipper comment, I think that may be due to our selection around here. We got the Grizzly, Colossus, and Psyclone (and Ghostrider and Roar as well). I still think it's the best coaster I've ridden though lol.
Did you actually ride it as Turn of the Century? I would have loved that!
Well, I'm quite new here, but have been around on other sites for a while. Anywhos, Just going to ask you Mr. Alvey, or whoever really, what your opinions are on the following coasters:
Giant Dipper @ Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
Hurricane @ Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
Top Gun @ Paramount's Great America
Demon @ Paramount's Great America
Vortex @ Paramount's Great America
Quicksilver Express @ Bonfonte Gardens
Jason
I'll have to second the Grizzly @ PGA vote for the worst coaster. Rough, boring, slow, creeps around that first turnaround. Never seen it get a roll back on that turn and actually have to use that anti-roll back device there, but I bet it happens.
On the Giant Dipper, it's pure heaven. And I like Hurricane lol.
