  1. Because everyone knows the best place to smoke is right outside TWO childern's areas...
  2. The Safari issues were also fixed it in Opera on Windows. Honestly, at first glance it is a bit busy. Too many words and pictures (I liked the suggestion of using the tittle and/or thumbnail as the link) but it's a much better format for different types of updates people would be intresting in.
  3. New Space Mountain (DL) and Mummy Florida are in the top two for me flollowed closely by Scooby-Doo (WB Movie World Australia) and Mummy Hollywood. FoF is a fun ride as is Exterminator and somwhere down the list is Disatser Transport (hey, I like the ride plus it's my first and only bobsled coaster) and I think I can count Eureka Mountain Mine Ride at Dreamworld (think wild mouse without all the 180°s in the dark) Can I count Superman Escape? It has a dark ride part too it.
  4. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks of the musical everytime they see the name and colors. *Air high five Makeover Joe* I may even forgive him for not liking coasters. Keep up the awesome work FLIPDUDE.
  5. Cedar Point 2002-2005 Pick a ride, I probably worked it. My longest weekend ever, 7AM-12:30AM in the next day 8AM-10(ish)PM TTD represent!
  6. This looks like a great site, I just signed up tonight and I'm thinking this can be good for me. I've been slacking and I think this may be a good kick in the pants. At my heaviest I was over 280 in 2005. I know I was, but since I didn't own a scale I can't be sure, but it was a doctor's visit where I weighed in at 280 that set off the chain of events which lead me to where I am now. By the time I managed to get a scale about a year ago, I weighed in at 264. Over the course of a year of playing DDR and slightly eating better then what I was, but no actual "diet," I managed to slim down to 229 (my current weight and losing) and I know I couldn't have done it if I didn't have the small group of friends (more like family) that are in this journey with me on another site. My goal is too hopefully slim down to at least 200 (if not more) by the time the Spain Trip hits at the end of June. Weird thing is I managed to ride MF with no problems this past summer and I was around the 250 mark, so it's not about weight but proportion (and knowing people who work the ride that can give a little "help" when necessary, but that's besides the point) and upper body physical strength (cause those belts don't pull themselves!) I'm glad that people here are able to find a nice group of people to help support each other. Start PMing others people, it's sooo much easier when you have other people to turn to during the hard times, people who will celebrate your loses and who will actually care if you "slip up" every now and then and help you get back on track.
  7. As Always, I'll hold off on my judgement until it's been done. It'll be interesting to see what, and how much they end up doing to the place.
  8. This post makes me giggle. I have a premium AP (That was $339 on renewal) so I can go whenever I want and I usually go a few times a month and I've yet to have a "bad" experience. If anyone is saying expletives to you and it makes you uncomfortable (especially cast members) go to City Hall and report them, they will be taken care of. If, like you say, trash cans are "overflowing" then alert the nearest custodial cast member. Like anywhere else, yoiu may have cuaght them at a "bad time" and they were already on their way to pick up the garbage. If you just don't like the place then don't go, I'm sure Disney won't miss you. If $41.50 for each park is so horrible (park hopper break down), then simply go to Six Flags and pay the $60.
  9. I'm guessing Carland will be for the Timon Lot. Hong Kong is also starting their phase 2 reclamation for additional expansion (possibly including a second park for Disney, or a park for Universal) that will be complete by 2008, so it might be a concept art of a park to persuade the HK Gov for the land. *shrug* we'll eventually find out. The "Pirate themed adventure" sounds like what's rumored to be going over to Hong Kong for their PotC area and Fantasmic! the Lagoon show looks fantastic and something that would be awesome for DCA, but I'm not sure it's going there, it just looks too big to go in, but hey, it is just concept art, so who knows at this time.
  10. So it ended up snowing in Redlands last night/ this morning.
  11. LMAO!! Mrs. SFGADv reminds me of way to many girls I know. Awesome job with all of this. I wasn't a huge fan of after the pageant though, but overall very entertaining!
  12. From what I've heard, everything in the videos will be there.
  13. After hearing about it since pre-production, I finally got to see Pan's Labryinth today and I was amazed. 9/10 It was a good story that was very moving. It's rated "R" for good reason, as the "real life" parts were at times absolutely brutal, and the "fantasy parts" would give kids nightmares.
  14. Only worked at Cedar point, so I have no clue about the other parks and how much they pay, but CP paid $6.25/hr plus $1 for every hour you worked if you completed your contract with them. So you basically make $7.25 an hour which is what they pay their "year round" employees at Castaway Bay, since the don't do a bonus incentive program. That seems mighty generous for a company that only legally has to pay $5.15 (of course I feel it's still below what they should be paying, but that's for another thread) As for the whole exclusion thing, it sucks that people are getting excluded, but the simple solution would be to obviously not work in those fields if you were trying to make a living from only working that one job.
  15. So I rode them both this last weekend and over all meh but I liked it. I hated the projections on the ceiling, and the "launch tunnel" and overall "concert in space" theme were weak. I did like being able to see the track however, and I did like the "crappy lights" all around. The music on Screamin' could have been synced and transitioned a lot better, but I liked it better then the barely audible music it had before.
  16. I read that and cursed that the Spain trip was this year! (kidding!!)
  17. took me a couple of times, but I managed to be brilliant. Stupid "rectangles" made me a fool a few times! But at least I got the "lighest blue square" question easily.
  18. I saw the video, and it's not nearly as fun as the actual ride (which completly took me by surprise during the dark ride portion) but yeah, you can see most of it. I still want a clone state side.
  19. I'm interested, but not sure if I'll catch this in theatres, as I don't get to go to the movies nearly as often as I should. I never watched transformers as a kid, so I have no emotional ties with the brand, but it looks good so far, and it looks like standard summer blockbuster fare, which I love. I'll definitely be seeing this, it's more of a matter of "when."
  20. yeah, I'm sure it's quite queer Never been to one myself, but I've heard they are what you make of them, just like any other event. Just go to hang with friends more then anything (and there's the eye candy too, no matter what persuasion)
  21. I personally loved the ride, the dark ride part was a LOT of fun, and then there's the wild mouse/ Rave going on. Good stuff, in one family freindly ride. (can we get a clone in the states now?)
  22. Some how this does nothing to comfort me. I don't go to Wal-Mart. It's not that I'm against it, I have friends who shop there, and there's nothing wrong with that. I just don't personally have any experience shopping at Wal-Mart, not that there's anything wrong with that. I mean there are plenty of respectable people who shop at Wal-Mart. But I just have to respect that people make the choice to shop at Wal-Mart.
