  1. The extremely loud and extremely hot girls that ride next/in-front/behind you and then scream AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS!!!! Making you go deaf and the experience of their hotness gets ruined. it happens all of the time....
  2. I'm going to break the mold of everyone else so far but I MUCH prefer Knott's! and here is why: 1. GhostRider (parts of it are getting rough, but it is still one of the best wooden coasters in the country, of the wooden coasters I've been on only Raven can compare to the insane pacing that Ghostrider has) 2. Xcelerator, in terms where it places on the polls and lists, this is the most underrated steel coaster out there. Just don't get caught up on the shortness of the ride, it is simply an amazing ride. 3. Silver Bullet, it has been catching a lot of flack recently, but I have to say when I went last weekend it was running a lot better and more forceful than at the Winter Coaster Solace, the only dissapointing part of the ride is the crappy inline twist, the rest of the ride is very good. 4. Montezooma's Revenge, this is the fourth coaster in my list that i say is still better than anything at SFMM, Schwarzkopf loops are otherworldly and the airtime on the back spike is oddly fun. When I visited the park last Thursday and Friday the lines were shockingly short  The max we waited was like 30 minutes for Ghostrider, and every coaster ran 2 trains the entire day. And for all of you Stacking nazi's knott's was keeping it running very efficiently with little to no stacking on Ghostrider, and was stacking 50% of the time on Silver Bullet. As a whole, I personally love Knott's and have yet to have a "bad" experience there. No offense to the Knott's haters but when you live 7 hours from a coaster not called "Desert Storm" or "Patriot", Knott's is a great park, you just have to focus on the positives about the park......
  3. Why does SFOT need anything new, in terms of selections of rides they are at the top in the SF chain. I would hope more neglected parks would get new rides, SFSTL are you hearing me!? I'm happy they got SF worlds of Adventure Q-Bot, but they don't have enough rides!
  4. SFFT is one of the few Six Flags parks that I actually like, it has a one amazing coaster (superman) and the atmosphere and shows are really first rate. Good TR and Pics.
  5. The Raven, Holiday World, Santa Clause Indiana. Of the coasters I have ridden only GhostRider on a good day can compare to Raven's otherworldly pacing and airtime. And considering out of the 70 some rides I've had on Raven were all suppurb it just shows that Raven runs amazing all day and all the time.
  6. This statement is faulty........ The new rides by B&M and actually just B&M in general aren't that intense for looping coasters, personally I think they are more desireable if it isn't pulling 5 g's all over the place because to much of a good thing is painful....... And forces are still being applied to new B&M just only on a certain part of the ride, case in point Silver Bullet's finale helix.
  7. I also have to go for the "It's a flying coaster" vote for these reasons: 1. They already have a really tall hyper coaster 2. They already have a really tall Fast coaster 3. They already have the 3 other types of Beemers: Inverted, Standup, and Floorless. 4. They already have 2 horrid woodies...... 5. They already have two pointless sit down loopers. 6. They already have one coaster that is so uterly unique it's disgusting. 7. They already have a selection of a mine train, severly f***ed small space coaster, an unrealiable giant invertigo, and actually a half way decent suspended  I lean towards flyer just because it is something that they don't have, and it is a smash hit with the public. Knowing six flags they will probably find some way of squeezing in a S:UF just because it works so well and yadda yadda yadda. They could also do an inpulse but I would think they would try to do something with a better capacity. I Could be wrong about my theories, and I hope I am. But I'll probably will still spend the 6 hour drive just to go to knott's and skip out on SFMM again.......
  8. Cameron We both will get slammed for this. I personally Think if I had 30 million dollars to invest in a coaster I would stear clear of Intamin as a whole. There rides are lawsuits waiting to happen, snapping cables, thrown riders, valleying........ I'm being very general about this but if I was a park looking into a major thrill ride that would be extremely popular and extremely reliable I would go with B&M. Although there ideas are not outside the box.........
  9. Did any one else see at the beginnning of the video when they first zoomed in some people rocking back and forth trying to get it off of the top. That was flippin awesome!
  10. I'm glad you guys had an awesome trip! I personally LOVE the Branson parks, I rate the parks just a small peg below Holiday World and that is saying a lot for them! I personally had a feeling that you guys would enjoy Ozark Wildcat a lot because from what I've gathered you and I have a lot of the same opinions on a lot of coasters.
  11. Using me as an example does not support your argument......
  12. Most of them are probably fat anyways, it isn't just the clothes.
  13. I am, but I really only am to get the magazines and go to the winter coaster solace (not to mention discounts to some paks). I am one of the 5 acers that is neither gay nor fat......
  14. I'm at 142, After this summer I'll be at like 155 lol. I want to go back to my favorite parks instead of going to some new parks that I don't want to go to. Adam (I'm NOT a coaster whore....)
  15. ...and very high speed  Actually the drop is "only" 140' tall so this shouldn't be so fast if you compare speed with other coasters in RCDB !! I personally think that wooden coasters feel like they go about 1 1/2 times faster then what they say they do. For Example: While riding a steel and wood coaster close together, like Villain and Dominator, I actually feel like more is demanded on you on Villain. To sum up what I'm trying to say, I think that turn will kick so much ass, and I'll bet it will be intense.
  16. Here is a random observation. All of the pics of the underground tunnel show the same section of track, the insane turn, and the little hops. I personally think that there is a LOT more going under there then what is being shown! I personally want to be kept in the dark too, I want to ride it not knowing what to expect while in the tunnel.
  17. Here is the last update from Gravity Group. I don't wwant to get my hopes up to much but this ride looks simply INCREDIBLE! http://www.thegravitygroup.com/hades/index05.htm
  18. ^ Same here! I think that this is just a bunch of BS considering the fact that it has been shown many-a-times that HW was not at fault. I'm just hoping that the worst doesn't happen. And the worse would be HW would be required to "tame" the Raven down by adding Trims...... Of all the rides to add trims to this is at the very top of my list of DO NOT TRIM!
  19. I'm sorry to report apperently after nearly 2 years of silence the "estate of Tamar Fellner" is suing the best theme park in the world Holiday World. Here is the link, http://masstort.org/masstort/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=79&mode=&order=0&thold=0. I hope, and think that it should get thrown out of court since afterall everyone knows that she was at fault. People like this shouldn't even be allowed to breath.............
  20. I'll expose myself as very anti "coaster whoring" but who the hell cares, I skip Boomerangs, and SLC's all the time. I just don't think that the extra count is worth the bruises. So my measly count of 142 is actually higher quality rides
  21. ^^ I REALLY do have to agree, it is the most forceless B&M I've been on (Silver Bullet included), but still love it becasue you just can't get much better then that first drop in the back seat. So much airtime, even though the positive forces suck. Hey Raging Bull could be worse, it could be like Millenium Force!
  22. It's all about Silver Dollar City and Celebration City baby! Dollywood is OK.
  23. Robb, When I saw what you had said about Wildfire in another post I thought to myself "Has he ridden the same Wildfire?" I love EVERYTHING in Branson, even being sick out of my mind I still have an amazing time! Wildfire is spectaculare, Ozark Wildcat is amazing, thos 2 parks and Holiday is what every other park should model after. Everyone is so nice, it is so beautiful and the rides are kick ass. Also I agree with your Thunderhead statement, when I rode it in late July it just seemed really fast and smooth, but had little airtime. I too was just confused by it...... When I first rode it my initial reaction was MUCH like yours and Elissa's to Thunder Dolphin at La Qua.
  24. Elissa, I agree with ^ it in my opinion was a big pile of shi* when I rode it in really early August last year. It was big, rough painful and had TONS and TONS of the world famous, and notorious Gerstlaur shuffle. God did I hate that ride and that park........ And I was looking SOOOOO foward to it Well if the park retracks it, and then puts PTC's on, and then actually some other decent rides I might actually go back. To point out the obvious I probably will never go back. Adam "I'd rather go to Dollyworld (not really)"
