  1. ^ No problem. You guys are going to love the ride, can't wait for you to see the finished product and what we have in store for you.
  2. ^ha, if his name was Kevin it was definitely me.
  3. ^ Hope you had fun, too bad I didn't know you were at the park or else I would have said hi. No speed control there.
  4. I'm going with Florida. I love Disneyland, but it's the only SoCal park(s) that I can't go more than a few months without visiting. I haven't been to Knott's in 4 years, SFMM in almost 5 and Sea World in 4. Only USH has drawn my attention lately (outside of DL). Central Florida on the other hand has Epcot, and that alone wins. But they also have all the great parks of WDW, both USO parks, the best Sea World, and the little guys like Fun Spot. If I lived closer I would be visiting Orlando much more often. If we consider BGT in the Central Florida group then thats even better seeing how Montu, SheiKra and Cheetah Hunt are all in my top 15 coasters. Also, I've never been happier since I left California and it's citizens who as a majority are pretty much d*cks. Florida has some d*cks too, but those tend to be the tourists, not the locals.
  5. ^ At this point, no. December is still the targeted opening.
  6. I didn't care for Everest, but I loved Rock N' Roller Coaster. The ride formerly known as Invertigo at CGA is another high point.
  7. The drop looks amazing in person and with no trims it's going to be insane. Can't wait to ride it
  8. I'm going with WDW. I love CP and all, it's amazing, but EPCOT alone makes WDW the clear winner in my opinion.
  9. ^Right now the sections built are the two farthest points, everything else will fill in the middle. It's going to be an awesome ride.
  10. Togo is by far the worst in my opinion, however I haven't had a chance to ride their rides in Japan or an ultra twister which I hear are far better than say... Manhatten Expres... err The Roller Coaster at New York, New York.
  11. 1. Medusa - SFDK 2. Dominator - KD 3. Kraken - SWO 4. Scream - SFMM
  12. Aria has Deuce and Bellagio has Hyde. Both, are pretty decent lounges but I expect both to be really pricey.
  13. ^It is a standard 4 person car (2 per row). They have a rendering of the car on their website. Actually, Circus's buffet has improved a lot. Granted it's still no where close to Bellagio or Wynn, but for the price the food quality is decent. As for the steak house... Well it's amazing. One of the best meals I've ever had.
  14. So wood and steel: Wood: 1. The Beast 2. The Voyage (last rode in 2006 so not what it's become) 3. Giant Dipper (SCBB) 4. Viper (SFGAm) 5. Blue Streak (CP) 6. Grizzly (KD) 7. Wild One (SFA) 8. The Legend 9. The Raven 10. Roar (SFDK) Steel: 1. I305 2. Maverick 3. Xcelerator 4. SheiKra 5. Millennium Force 6. Montu 7. Superman: Ride of Steel (SFA) 8. Manta (SWO) 9. California Screamin' 10. Superman Ultimate Flight (SFDK)
  15. I think at this point it should be very clear that this is in fact a custom layout and not another clone.
  16. Well, It's Adventuredome, and while I think it's a fun little park, I cannot say it's close to being my favorite. Unfortunately my favorite, Epcot, is about 3,000 miles away.
  17. Drove past tonight, not much has happened at Hershey's, but they did completely demolish the old City Center Preview/ Leasing building between NYNY and Monte Carlo in preparation for the park being built there.
  18. It's working for me. Not too sure if I would use this consistently yet. I need to get used to it I think. But Safari can be a pain so maybe this will get me to check out the forums more with my iPhone rather than just waiting to be at a computer.
  19. Not a whole lot. Last time I was over there, they barely had started on the facade. But it's now October so the new Fiscal year has started and maybe new funds have started flowing again to the project.
  20. ^ I think I read 500 Million somewhere but I'm not totally confident in that. It looked today like all the temporary lattice spokes were removed and the whole wheel is supported by the cables now. Shouldn't be long before we see the capsules added (once they are delivered of course).
  21. ^ Sounds like this coaster will be a 2 time world champion over the course of 3 years. This will be the second custom El Loco. So it's a good sign.
  22. Looks like the Goretorium is shutting down on Wednesday according to Screamscape. Ironically Fright Dome opens on Thursday so Vegas isn't without a Haunt for atleast another month. I never did the Goretorium so I can't say I'm really sad. I had always heard it was just OK, nothing great.
  23. Yep, the crews are in the process of patching all the holes including the big one where Rim Runner's drop was. Going to be a very exciting couple of weeks in the Dome.
  24. I was just checking out the Haunt site and saw that they are getting the Fun House Express for Haunt. It's so weird to see a 20 year old ride film marketed as "New for 2013." Fun movie though.
