  1. Yeah but this is a strange accelerating-decelerating new prototype coaster, anything is possible
  2. Im excited to find out how the rotating tower is different in experience to a regular combo-tower, so i hope people will report on that since there's absolutely no way i'm able to get to hersheypark inside at least 5 years
  3. Maybe they're bringing the swinging/suspended back?
  4. ^since you revived the thread ill join If mack is gonna get any gigs to build coasters in the states, they'll probably go up the charts far as well, cause at this point Mack is basically the new schwartzkopf with the innovative designing and amazing forceful coasters. the top 3 coasters in my count are mack coasters: (in no particular order) Helix, Lost Gravity and Blue Fire (but not the clones). And only one of the top 10 is a b&m. (Im sure there would be more if i had ridden maybe dragon khan, shambhala or kumba but i haven't so...) Like mack has been kind of there just making quality wild mouses and powered coasters for a while with the exception of blue fire and a few spinners but when they started building more and more water coasters, spinners, mega coasters, and now all the new stuff they've come out with they're becoming a big force in the industry.
  5. With the popularity of rides like Mack megacoasters, this getting built, intamin 10-loopers and other stuff in that direction i'm getting the feeling that the age of gimmickiness is slowly making way for simply fun rides. cause like that's the point of roller coasters, fun. I've learned that the GP honestly doesn't care about gimmicks, sure it brings more attention but gimmicky rides don't get people coming back for more.
  6. Oh I didn't read the second hand part. BTW that coaster is strange in the fact that it's essentially a maurer like Venus GP in Japan but isn't at the same time
  7. With the exception of Afterburn and runaway mine train.
  8. Yeah but let's be honest, there are only really three rides in Alton Towers that are unique to any extent and/or worth the travel, those being Galactica, Smiler and Nemesis. And considering how it's a bit of a fuss to come to Alton by public transport I would say that there's no point in going to the UK if you don't live in europe.
  9. Really old post i'm replying to, but judging by the order i'm guessing you're implying that Fabbri ripped off KMG with the booster design, while KMG kinda ripped off Fabbri.
  10. If the pacing is the same as in the NL2 simulation it'll be a g-force and airtime machine!
  11. I'm not sure if it has something to do with bodyshape, but the skyloops are more intense than uncomfortable when it comes to the beyond vertical part of the lift, since you "fall" into the lapbar and at 50m up it's probably the most realistic feeling of falling and panic you can get on a coaster. It would be incredibly uncomfortable with an OTSR though
  12. I think it's a great addition to a mall. The vekoma junior suspended's are surprisingly fun and punchy (especially in the back) and they are kind of soaring through wherever they're put so it's also nice to look at.
  13. What's a Blitz coaster? Took the words out of my mouth
  14. Go into OpenRCT2 settings and disable disconnect if desync
  15. I wouldn't be surprised since an RMC can be pretty much whatever you want
  16. Ooooh is that a vertical lift hill
  17. Gerstlauers aren't just rough in the same way as old vekoma or b&m rattle, they have that roughness that you don't directly see/feel but you end up leaving the ride with kind of a headache, like when i leave a bad slc my head hurts because it was bashed externally but when i leave smiler, saw the ride, basically their rides with ostrs, i just end up having a bit of an ache afterwards, which for me is worse than on-coaster roughness. But besides that, i have to say that Kärnan and Junker are like the only gerstlauers that are mentionable coasters from gerstlauer though, that's another issue.
  18. It looks awesome! On another note, what's the difference between Maurer AG and Maurer Rides?
  19. Don't forget about the Roller Coaster Corporation of America, which brought us the incredibly smooth Bandit at Movie Park Germany.. I was only planning to go to movie park next year, so luckily haven't had to endure that yet No but seriously gerstlauer (which are relatively cheap) do tend to get pretty rough and headache-y pretty much after opening.
  20. It looks so smooth! Like, really actually super smooth! By this rate Gerstlauer will be the new roughest coaster manufacturer
  21. Linnanmäki on the first of june!
  22. Happy to see the endeavors being installed, but i hope someone buys one of those HUSS enterprise 2.0 rides as well.
  23. Yeah just in case people here don't know metric the drop n twist goes anywhere from 22 feet to 124 feet
