Top Thrill Dragster 12. Iron Dragon (All a muddled, muddy mess of brown and blah) -Woodstock's Express -Gemini -Wilderness Express -Cedar Creek Mine Ride The bottom line, as somebody who actually really appreciates the color and overall "look" of coasters more than the average person, is that Cedar Point is woefully lacking in the color - particularly the "good looking and inventive" color - department. That's clearly NOT why it's one of my favorite amusement parks! About the only coaster at CP I would put in the category of "Beautiful", from a coaster appearance standpoint, is GateKeeper. Not only are the colors great, the look, and location of the coaster is perfect as well! But again... Coaster color appreciation isn't really why I go to CP, so...
  2. I won't lie... I'm really stoked about this coaster! 2 Months!!!
  3. I will admit, I do VERY much like Pink's, and used to eat there every time I went a few years ago. However, the price, for the amount of food, has kept me from making a habit of it as of late.
  4. This is SO true with me! Just a handful of years ago, I almost never ate at CP, and went hard the whole day. Now, a trip is all about a leisurely route through the park, complete with food, drink, and an occasional show. Age definitely changes things! As for the food, my go-to last year, was the Parmesan Garlic fresh cut fries, and I think that will continue to be a staple. They are SO good! Brew and BBQ was also amazing, and will probably be when I make one of my few visits this year! Agreed! Midway Market is just... Ugh!
  5. 42 of 62, all North American. I love B&M's so I look forward to hopefully increasing that number closer to the top! I should get Mako and likely Talon and Hydra this year...
  6. I got 44 of them, though I really should have counted Arkansas Twister, since I rode it multiple times when it was Hurricane at Boardwalk and Baseball. So, 45 of 126... I'll definitely be adding Mystic Timbers this year, and likely Mine Blower as well. I'd love to make it over to BGW to ride Invadr this year, but that's doubtful. I DO plan on finally getting to Knoebels and Dorney Park this year however, and Morey's is a solid chance as well!
  7. Count me in as another who loves the color scheme! And if Hydrus is indeed the name, I dig that too! I'm definitely looking forward to taking a few spins on this come July, assuming it's open then!
  8. I'm loving hearing all of this love for Millennium Force! Sometimes I feel like one of the few voices of reason when all this Millennium Forceless nonsense starts getting bandied about, so it's nice to see so many refute that notion as well! Some of my closest friends in the coaster enthusiast community really need to read those comments, and take them to heart! I love them (the people), but they are out to lunch in their assessment of MF, that is for certain!
  9. I can attest to this! That day was so freaking cold! Probably the coldest weather I've ever been at an amusement park in... BTW, I loved seeing those pictures of Mystic Timbers, and I am definitely looking forward to riding it with my kids come April!
  10. Can't wait to ride this shortly after the park opens! It'll be my first time on one of these!
  11. It looks like I'll be making my way back to Florida with my kids in November this year, and both Fun Spot locations will definitely be on my main to-do list! I wouldn't be surprised if my kids get more enjoyment out of them, than they do at Sea World or BGT!
  12. Not me! I want Rajin' Cajun Part Deux, with a more elaborate layout! That coaster is so freaking fun!
  13. A B&M Flyer with that terrain... I would be ALL over that, Opening Day!
  14. I cannot wait to get over there and ride this in July when I'm in Seaside Heights! Finally a legit pier coaster in that neck of the woods (or should I say, Jersey Shore!)
  15. Pretty sure every RMC coaster ever created has an ejector hill. . . Like, you know... The entire ride. Seriously, (Not including the lift hill obviously) I think we spend more time being ejected out of our seats on RMC coasters, than the amount of time we spend being pressed into the seats. Hell even the first drop on RMC coasters (aside from the inverting drops) are like giant ejector hills all the way down the drop. In addition to this, Storm Chaser has 2 bona fide, clear as day ejector hills, and boy, do they ever launch you! That first one even makes the ejector hills on Maverick or Magnum seem tentative in their ejection!
  16. Alright! Now THIS is the kind of stuff I like to see in the CP thread! Can't wait for RMC streak! It's going to be SO epic!
  17. I too am in the category of liking Magnum, but not loving it. It's certainly nowhere near the top of my Hyper rankings, ans isn't even in the Top 5 coasters at CP for me. I certainly appreciate its place in history, and still remember seeing the commercials for it before the 1989 season, and literally having dreams where I was riding it for the first time (even though I didn't even really know the layout! lol). I've also had some fantastic rides on it. But I've had plenty of "Meh", or worse rides on it too. Some of my closest friends in the enthusiast community are absolutely head over heels for it, so we have some lively disagreements at times about it (especially since they dog my favorite coaster, MF!) It's still a great coaster though, regardless of just how much of an affinity one has for it!
  18. To be fair, there's not much actual news on that either so you'd just end up with 2017 / 2018 arguments. Yes, this is true, and we certainly don't need any more of that either! Honestly, I just keep hoping for more pictures of the construction, but I imagine we're probably a little too far into the throes of the winter period to see much happening in that regard. At least KI is keeping my desires for construction updates sated with Mystic Timbers!

  21. SO... Is there any way to set up TPR so that I get a notification for this thread only if RMC Streak is talked about, or something else specifically CP related, so I don't waste my time in here otherwise???
  22. I will agree that TT was pretty amazing, for what it was! However, it DID feel like half a coaster, as it was SO short! Still, I'd heard it was the best of the old Arrow loopers, and it did not disappoint! My favorite coaster at DW was, of course, the ever-elusive Lightning Rod! (I tend to think of myself as generally unlucky in life, but I was able to get on LR 5 times, so I guess that's got to count for being at least somewhat lucky! ) However, the competition for second favorite was tight! I think, in the end, I give the nod to Thunderhead, especially since it was also a night ride, and it seemed absolutely out of control! I agree, however, that DW doesn't have a bad coaster in the bunch!
  23. I must not be a very good coaster enthusiast, because the whole "Winter Chillout" concept has zero appeal to me!
