  1. The whole thing disgusts me, as do the disgusting people causing the mess...
  2. I am VERY excited to be taking three of my kids to KI on the 22nd of April to ride Mystic Timbers (and, everything else, as it'll be their first time there!), and think the ride looks awesome! However, while I also hope to not have the surprise of the shed spoiled, I am fairly certain that what is inside will be a "spooky" vine-themed either animatronic or video screen (or both) "scene" to cap of the ride's story. Why anybody is getting too excited that it will be anything else... Well, I'm not really sure...
  3. Hayling - FC Kahuna
  4. Good! The only thing scheduled down when I'll tentatively be there, is Congo River Rapids! Now, here's hoping for no unscheduled breakdowns, especially of Cheetah Hunt, Cobra's Curse, Montu, or Kumba!
  5. Turns out they were correct Now it turns out DILinator was correct. Never bet against The DILinator! (Now, if only that B&M Flyer I've been predicting would come to CP since the mid 2000's would show up, I'd REALLY look smart! )
  6. Tis the season to enjoy this awesome beer delicacy again! I've been enjoying both bottles and some nice pours over the past week! Founders KBS!
  7. Probably not! But the names would both definitely fit the theme!
  8. I just had a random thought... What if the new coaster in that area is indeed a Dive Coaster, and in a sort of tribute (and to fit in with the theme of the boardwalk area), it is called "Surf Racer"? That would be kind of cool, and the idea of a Dive Coaster being like riding a gigantic wave (and then crashing straight down) fits pretty well! Of course, it could be named as a tribute, and also be called "Windjammer" - though I doubt they pair the two names together into an overly long coaster name again!
  9. Yeah, I realized Cedar Fair's plan for MiA years ago, and accepted it a few years after that, so this stuff doesn't even phase me anymore. Every three or four years I'll take my kids, but otherwise, it's not even worth my time to drive the two hours over there. I had a CF season pass last year and didn't even go! Having said that, if they DO get those conveyors for the larger water slides, I will definitely make my way back there that year!
  10. ^Thanks for the added advice! I'll definitely plan on getting the wristband when I go this Summer then! Oh, and sorry I've been lazy and haven't responded to your message yet, but yeah, I'll keep you in the loop on when I go, and maybe we'll be able to coordinate! I'm definitely up for the bigger, unique flats, as well as the notorious flume, but I'll check out the kiddie coasters too, if you think they're worth it! I'm not one to ride kiddie coasters just for the credit, but if there's a good reason to, I will. Thanks again for the info!
  11. ^Thanks for the info! I'll should go do that myself, but the band is probably the way to go anyway.
  12. Would 70 ride tickets get me on all of the major (non-kiddie) coasters, and some of the best flats? $45 isn't bad at all, if it does!
  13. My go-to seat on Magnum for maximum airtime enjoyment, without pain, is row 1 of the last car. Middle row is good too though, and perhaps a little less "rough". And yes, the frequent lack of any wait for those rows is great, too!
  14. I was there Opening Day last year, and yeah, not a stellar day for park operations all around. I've been in years past, and it hasn't been terrible... However, I feel like the park in general has been getting more crowded than it used to be 10 years ago even. Weekdays in May and the last week of August used to be dead, but now they still maintain a healthy amount of guests, though there are still dead days (such as the Thursday in May last year where I never waited more than 12 minutes for Valravn!)
  15. I'll second the here! Arguably my two favorite parks combined into one! Just for the insanity of it however, my official vote will go for Cedar Point and Europa Park! Basically the two best parks in the world, especially for coasters, and hopefully the theming and environment of EP transfers over to the CP portion as well!
  16. This might be the best park/coaster related idea ever. An Intamin Blitz @ BGW? I would die. Probably highly unlikely. . . But it's fun to dream!! Sweet Screams are Made of This. Who Are We to Disagree?
  17. Assuming this is true, I love SO much that Magnum is actually named after Magnum P.I.! Tom Selleck FTW!!!
  18. Because no matter how tall/fast TTD is, some of us want an experience that offers more than a launch/top hat/drop/brake. Some of us want a ride that lasts longer than 17 seconds. Some of us want an experience that's more about fun that fear. It's not a bad ride, but it's not the best ride @ CP. I probably have TTD ranked lower than most people, among CP coasters, due to the above. It's still a great coaster, however, and would be at or near the top in most parks.
  19. I'm glad some other people said it, because I sure was thinking the same thing! The word "gimmick" is thrown around far too frequently in coaster enthusiast circles to describe things that oftentimes, aren't really a "gimmick" at all, but rather a revolutionary new coaster experience, that has staying power. I too hope CP's RMC is full of both ridiculous airtime, and multiple mind blowing inversions. Whatever it is though, it'll be great, I'm sure of that!
