I got a free coupon for the coaster at Goats on the Roof from my hotel. Night rides on any of them would be awesome as we passed by at night. -
What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?

^ I hate Firehawk. One and done for me, no looking back. For me it was very uncomfortable, awkward, and clunky. But if you like it, all the more power to you. -

The closest thing to that I've seen is a partial power outage at SFFT... but they didn't cycle empty trains then obviously. Weird. -

The Streak will not be put off. The Streak will live on. The Streak of course being Blue Streak because Blue Streak is amazing and the front row has godtier ejector airtime. Although Mean Streak is pretty great too. Lots of fun turns if you ride in the front and lean forward. Bonus points if you ride in the rain. -

Eagle is awesome. That's the most real floater airtime I've ever had on any coaster. Lap bar locked at least 3 inches above my lap, so I was up against it over every single airtime hill. -

It had rained that morning, plus it was a Wednesday in June. Ended up barely raining at all. Only three rides in the rain but hey they were actually open. The whole both days the MF line was never over 15 minutes. Even with the line to the FL merge point at times. Pretty much all the staff at CP are awesome. Very efficient and friendly. -

They did that at night when the line is short even when it wasn't ERT. -
What is your next park?

Probably SFFT or ZDT's. I sort of wish it was SWSA so I could get the credits but probably not happening. -

Makes me wish I had gone to Carowinds instead of Dollywood. But hey all the more reason to do an east coast/southeast trip a few years out. -

I'm going to be totally honest here, Boss is awesome as is and I-box Boss would be ridiculously amazing, but that's about the only major thing I want them to do with it. Just keep retracking and keeping up maintenance, maybe get some more comfortable trains (although apparently the gersts do less damage to the track or something?) and you're great. Although The Beast does beat Boss at best out in the woods terrain woodie but The Boss is super awesome anyway. -

So that's the fabled Aquatrax? Yeah, MF is the legendary 300+ foot Intamin giga AquaTrax that all the Dippin Dots guys and gals talk about. -

Yeah LR was closed when we went yesterday too. Was a little disappointing but expected. The park was fun. Operations were really slow but that might just be because we had just gone to CP which has fantastic ops. Thunderhead and Wild Eagle are awesome, Mystery Mine is weird and fun, Tennessee Tornado is overrated but not terrible, FCE is a great family coaster. Food is good, staff is friendly even if slow. -
Another Cedar Point trip report...guhhhh.

I do that instinctively for pretty much any coaster with OTSRs that are near my head. I never actually remember the snap being that forceful at all. Maybe I'm just used to Iron Rattler's snap into the brakes. Now that one is stupidly forceful. -

I never had to ride defensively on Raptor, though my normal riding position is usually leaning into the turns and slightly forward, and I'm 6' and lanky so that probably had an effect on it as well. -

^or just ride it in/after the rain. That was the last thing I did at Cedar Point before we left for Cleveland. Nothing could have beaten that except maybe riding later in the evening and riding in the front row, but circumstantially that wouldn't have been possible. That ride was amazing. Even better was the fact that it was just about the only thing in the park running and the hype in the station was the highest I'd seen, even higher than at night. -

Raptor is amazing. Before this week I hadn't been on any inverts except Batman clones and I really wasn't a fan of the heavy sustained g-forces. Banshee was a little better but the new B&M vest restraints ruined that for me. I ended up being really apprehensive about Raptor because of that, but it's easily my favorite invert. I rode in the front every time and the g-forces are never too intense. I expected a double-length Batman clone and Raptor is waaay better than a Batman clone. Sustained g-forces were never prominent, it's way smoother than any other invert I've been on, and the whip in the inversions is amazing. Just keep your head forward if you can (even though the whip didn't smack my head at all either way). Raptor is definitely my favorite B&M looper. -

People say it has no airtime but especially in the front row the last two hills are borderline ejector. It was running stupidly fast on Wednesday and Thursday. -
that first hill itself makes me want to get there to ride. only been there once when Chang was brand new. lol I always thought the single most intense and forceful airtime I'd ever felt was on Maverick... That first hill on Storm Chaser laughs at Maverick's hills! (The second airtime hill on Storm Chaser still delivers it about as strong as Maverick's hills do!) This is why NTaG is so awesome. It has airtime like that all the way through. Some of it isn't quite as forceful as Maverick, but the first half is definitely up there.

I never swallowed any bugs at CP. Kept my mouth shut on all the coasters (except chanting the MF theme song with a few other people at dusk while on the lift hill and yelling ouch in the back row of Gemini) -
RMC Part Recall
LiftThrill replied to Djwadeknox's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Could it just be the coasters with the RMC trains? I've been out and about but I don't think the Gerst-train RMCs would close for this.
