  1. I'd like to see him do it with the rockets attached.
  2. #4, classic photo, that dude in the middle must love the pole.
  3. Regardless of what rides you may not end up doing due to roughness, your going to be riding one of both THE best steel and wooden coasters in the world (Bizzarro and Boulder Dash). Sound like a great trip to me, have fun...... and yes i'm very jealous. p.s. both of these guys are in my top 5
  4. Holy crap! Imagine the chaos if the pilot wasnt able to steer it away from the rides and people, kudos to him. On second thought, taking out Cyclone would only be doing the world a favour. Good to hear there were no serious injuries though.
  5. 5/10 for me, time for another holiday. I thought Goliath and Titan were the exact same height and drop?
  6. Coaster Express @ Park Warner in Madrid still stands as THE roughest coaster ive ever ridden. Seriously, i'd rather ride Manhatten Express and the Texas Giant repeatedly for a year than ride CE one more time.
  7. Holy crap they have done a lot over there since I last checked, its looking great. What a shame that the windshield will stop the front row riders from getting a mouthful of bugs during night time rides.
  8. I hope you have an awesome time guys and gals. You think you've got it sooo good being on international holidays socialising with great people, going to theme parks and riding coasters, eating wonderful food etc etc. Well I start work at 6am tomorrow in the freezing cold.....bet your jealous hey?
  9. Hey nice pics. I was there last year and managed to fail on every photo I took of Supersonic Odyssey as the lighting in there is poo. Im heading there next week and have a new camera this time so will try again. It's a great coaster, but I would really like to ride it with the newer trains, the old Intamin trains on that thing are pretty uncomfortable and are lacking leg room. Still, its an Intamin and I love it.
  10. Awesome Robb, I wish that one day my wife and I could join one of TPR's trips, unfortunatly though, we are unable to head the USA this year. On the other hand, If you wanted to fly for 20 hours for only 2 credits, then come on over to Perth, Australia for the next TPR trip, Adventure World awaits all TPR members, (your dissatisfaction is guaranteed).
  11. 1- Millenium Force 2- Superman ROS 3- El Toro 4- Balder Dash 5- Lightning Racer 6- Maverick 7- Kingda Ka 8- Griffon 9- Dragon Khan 10- Nitro
  12. A time machine themed coaster would not be complete without a 'Huey Lewis and the News' song. And for theming, an 'OUTATIME' licence plate on the trains.
  13. Supersonic Oddysea at Cosmos World in KL, i'm going there in June. Would rather be heading to the USA to ride Terminator but in this financial crisis, money dictates a cheaper holiday, so we're off to Malaysia instead.
  14. Gotta add at least one sunset pic too.
  15. Two of my favourite things, cars and coasters.
  16. I am very interested to see the results of this, as long as the people voting have actually ridden all 4 rides. Ive only ridden El Toro so cant vote.
  17. You guys should seriously consider the effect that these clues are having on the tpr community....
  18. I fell off my chair when the hand tried to poke me in the eye.
  19. Nice Patch Pants, I wonder if he has the Manta patch yet?
  20. Best DMC trip review i've seen this year by miles!!! It's great to see the time machine factory still going strong, I guess they've got that awesome 80's movie to thank for that ....... The Wedding Singer.
  21. Some very funny entries so far. In keeping with the halloween theme, here is my entry......... "Psycho's on Cyclone" Psycho's on Cyclone
  22. I have been informed by a relative who works at ADVENTURE WORLD, (my very average local theme park, http://www.rcdb.com/pd409.htm ) that park management has shown interest in purchasing a 'second hand Vekoma Boomerang'. All they know at this stage is that it is 6 years old and that it has recently been dismantled and is ready and waiting to be shipped from the East coast of the USA (18 sea containers worth). Unless anyone can confirm that SFOG's Deja Vu has a home yet, I believe that this is the 'Boomerang' that is being reffered to. According to International Rides Management, (www.irmpri.com) there are still two Vekoma Giant Inverted Boomerang Coasters listed for sale, we know that one has already been relocated, but hopefully the other is destined for Australia. If this were to happen, I wonder if Adventure World is aware of the maintenence costs on these coasters, still, this would be an awesome addition to this little water park, (not to mention one of the biggest coasters in the country).
