  1. The Incredible Hulk. And what a ride it was.
  2. Well, thank god they didn't. Enjoy that GCI!
  3. GAdv: 1. El Toro 2. Joker 3. Batman 4. Nitro 5. Bizarro 6. Kingda Ka 7. Runaway Mine Train 8. Skull Mountain 9. Blackbeard 10. Superman 11. Dark Knight 12. The Ghost of GASM 13. The Ghost of Rolling Thunder 14. The Ghost of Viper 15. Green Lantern
  4. This is really cool. Dutch Wonderland was a pleasant surprise when I visited in 2015. A family invert is a solid addition for them.
  5. 1. The climates of Valencia, CA and Jackson, NJ are slightly different in December & January. 2. LMAO at the notion that Magic Mountain has the best of anything in the Six Flags chain.
  6. Nope. El Toro doesn't handle the cold well, and Kingda Ka is too tempermental to risk running.
  7. I'll probably be there the 8th as well. I'm electing to ride. (after casting my vote, of course.)
  8. It wouldn't surprise me if they did away with the Bizarro themeing and restored the ride to its original lime green glory eventually. Although, it also wouldn't surprise me if the park ends up putting the ride on the chopping block soon.
  9. Hershey's mouse is insane. Definitely ride it if you can.
  10. There's no helping the Medusarro crew. The park could be empty and they'd still be triple stacking trains. Interesting about the ops telling people to hurry to their seats. I visited on Wednesday and didn't experience that so the mandate must have just come down from corporate this weekend. Hopefully the crews keep it up.
  11. Talon's line looked like that when I visited last week. My friend and I waited maybe five minutes.
  12. I'd love to live in a world where the DH is sent back to the hell from whence it came. Unfortunately however, with interleague play now being all year, it's only a matter of time until the NL adopts the stupid "position" as well.
  13. Although the holding brake is fun, I liked Possessed without it. Made it feel more intense.
  14. I was there last night, and although I didn't do any of the mazes the ones I saw that had consistent lines were Trick-or-Treat, Blackout, and the Chamber of Horror Wax Museum.
  15. No, it's a normal operating day. Everything should be open.
  16. Historically, yes Columbus Day is pretty quiet at the park.
  17. I can't bring myself to care about the rest of this postseason (damn you, Jeurys Familia), but my prediction for the World Series is Indians-Dodgers. But really, my one rallying cry is "Anyone but the Cubs 2016."
  18. The Giants made McAdoo the head man because they were afraid of losing him to Philadelphia, as he was headed down to interview for their vacancy when the Giants first announced the hire. I know it's only four weeks in and a lot can change, but with his ultra-conservative playcalling and his lack of discipline, the team might have been better served letting him go to Philly.
  19. Best closer in baseball sitting in your bullpen, and you go with Ubaldo Jimenez and his +5 ERA? What are you doing, Showalter? Hope Terry Collins doesn't make similar mistakes tonight. He's usually good for a couple of head scratching decisions.
  20. No, we're watching the New York media search for a scapegoat to give McAdoo a pass for being a rookie head coach who seems to be in way over his head. Also doesn't help that our once excellent QB is starting to play afraid and is making even more mistakes than usual. They aren't a mess yet, but the situation is much more grim than it seemed just two weeks ago. If they win Sunday night most of this is forgotten about.
  21. Remember the Solar Panel project? It's currently on hold. Source
  22. I don't think you can bring a fanny pack on any ride, but the park's loose article policy varies on whether or not they choose to enforce it.
  23. I'm cautiously optimistic about the Mets. If they can beat San Francisco, I have a feeling they would play a competive series against Chicago. They won the season series against the Cubs this year, including a sweep in New York. After Syndergaard and Colon the starting pitching is suspect, but they have a great bullpen. If the offense can stay hot, they can be the dark horse in the NL.
  24. I prefer Nitro in the front row, but the back is a lot of fun. Regardless of what row I sit in, I always try to sit in the seat on the far left (closest to the air gates). I don't really know why but that is my favourite seat, especially up front.
