I was there with JCoaster last night. Like he said, the place was wild. I've had crazy visits before, but the kids smoking weed in Nitro's queue really put yesterday over the top. That being said, everything was running exceptionally, and operations weren't that bad.

Impulse at Knoebels. Nice, compact and intense.

Yep. A big to-do about nothing.

And the kiosks can't get your order wrong and then give you attitude when you tell them it's wrong.

No surprise about the announcement being about Fright Fest. The much more interesting development are the ordering kiosks.

I loved DisneyQuest when I was a kid and everything was new. Thank you for jogging my memory about that slide. I remember skipping it the first time I visited so I would have a new experience the next year. Alas, the slide was removed before I made it back. I visited for the last time in 2011 with my sister and brother-in-law to kill some time while my parents saw a movie at the AMC. While we still had fun, you could see the writing on the wall that the days of DisneyQuest were numbered. Nice report.

Gotta assume it's something Fright Fest related. I like the idea of using the eclipse for marketing purposes.

I could never marathon Batman; I can't even do twice in a row on one. Talon on the other hand, I could ride all day if the park didn't have that silly policy of having to get off for re-rides. And that drop into the second half is my favourite part of the ride. It gets me every time.

I'd be on board with either a Skywarp or this new Mack ride, but I'm still holding out hope that the park throws a curveball and announces a T-Rex.

I really like Talon because it's a lot of fun. I appreciate that it isn't *too* forceful, making it very re-rideable compared to say, a Batman clone.

40 minutes for Talon? You poor unfortunate soul. The longest I waited for anything at Dorney was roughly 20 minutes for the rapids on a brutally hot day.

Boldikus is right. The back left seat was the craziest ride I ever experienced on a coaster. My first ever ride on Skyrush was in that seat; I was hanging on for dear life and enjoying every glorious second of it. Best coaster ever.

Yes. That seems like a ton of walking to demand out of your average Joe for one ride It's a ridiculous distance, but there's a great ride at the end, so it's worth the hike IMO.

My guess is they'll knock down the old Autobahn building and put this new attraction there to complete Metropolis. Just glad we finally have some sort of teaser. Also, did anyone see the teaser in the most recent e-mail that they are announcing something at 2:45 on Monday to co-incide with the eclipse? Makes mention of darkness, so my guess is that is something to do with Fright Fest.

Nice report. Great Adventure is my home park, so it is always nice to see the park from the perspective of a first time visitor. Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy Joker. It is my second favourite coaster in the park, after El Toro.

Splendid report thus far. Dollywood looks amazing, I have to get out there one day.

I plan on being at Great Adventure the day of the eclipse, but I'm pretty sure the Northeast is only getting to see it partially. Should be an interesting day to ride.

Not really a fan. One or two shot in that style are ok, but more gets very repetitive.
