  1. Wonder if skywarp was their second choice. Looking at the logo posted, it seems like "infinity Coaster" would've made more sense.
  2. Think the origional post said it rocks back and forth before completing the.circuit (like a super loop). Guessing that means it can go backwards in the same manner as a super loop as well. Seems like a really neat looking ride overall, a sort of cross between the larger premier shuttle-coasters and the smaller super loops. Hop
  3. That won't happen due to safety requirements if 2 trains collide. This is the same reason that Thorpe park removed the backwards rows on The Swarm. Were the backwards rows taken out as a result of the smiler accident?
  4. Holy F@$&!!!!!!!!! ...Skyrish + Sky-Rocket/Premier = :o PLEASE build one of these further west!
  5. IMO, the shaping doesn't look oblique enough to me for a dive loop. And I find it very weird that the track is perfectly parallel on each side of the small radius turn. To me, it looks much more like a brake run/transfer track area (which doesn't make sense if it's at the bottom of the hill...). The whole layout also looks ridiculously short... I guess it's wait and see. Ultra-Twister 2.0?
  6. It's funny to me how you mentioned that a 14 year old with an iPhone would use windows movie maker. Most 14 year olds with iPhones would just use iMovie and wouldn't even bother to upload their videos to their computer. ...Seriously overestimating the abilities of 14 year olds

  8. Not a GP thing, but I remember the Wikipedia page for Hangover/Invertigo mentioned the original layout was planned to have launches instead of lift hills. Can someone confirm if this is true/false?
  9. See I don't mind screams of real terror. What gets me is fake screams and "I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die!" just to be dramatic. Get over yourself, we know it's scary. Not an issue for me... as long as said drama queens aren't sitting next to me on a ride.
  10. First time going to haunt later today. Where are the mazes in the park? Are they listed on the maps?
  11. May be heading to the park on Oct 30. Will be there in the evening for haunt. Never done haunt before, and wanted to check out the haunted houses, however, this will also be my first visit to the park this year , so I'm wanting to get a decent amount of rides in too. Any suggestions on how I should go about doing things?
  12. I could live without both. Why would it be either of those years? Everyone knows it's going to be built in 2019.
  13. IT'S CONFIRMED!!!... 2018!!!... Drunk construction worker closet thing we have to a Dippin Dots Guy,... SO IT'S CONFIRMED!!!
  14. Dragon Mountain is worth stopping by for. I saw nothing of concern as far as animal treatment goes when I last visited in 2014. Mistreatment of animals shouldn't be a reason to avoid a decent ride/park... Just look at how most parks of a certain chain mistreat their HUMAN customers (**cough^* Sixflags **cough**) with with the abomination that is their 2017 addition lineup. In all seriousness, will be interesting to see if marineland is bought out by a bigger chain in the coming years/decades. To my knowledge, the owner is getting up there in age, and may decide to sell the park soon. As others have said, the park is quoted dated. Would be very interesting to see what a bigger chain could do for the park.
  15. My question is, have you ever had people like the guy in the video come to trips/events?
  16. Looks great! Wonder why they didn't use the LSM launch like on wildabeast and other water coasters though. Always thought it was regarded as being better than the "master blaster" type slides.
  17. I'm sure they already thought of this, but why use Horse-collar-style OTSRs? Seems like vest restraints would cut down on the weight of the pods.
  18. I mean, isn't this only the second installation of a Mondial Inferno at all? The only other example of this ride I've ever known of is the traveling Airwolf. I've heard it's one of the craziest flat rides ever designed. EDIT: On-ride video: Really? Crazier than shockwave? Seems like this one doesn't look as intense.
  19. Before all the whining, moaning and bitching starts, I just want to say that personally, this is exactly what I expected for 2017, and more. The drop pod slides seem to be just what splashworks needed, and will definitely help them compete with other local water parks. The new flat ride also seems like a great addition. It's no coaster, but from what I've seen on YouTube, it should be a pretty thrilling ride.
  20. Still hoping one of these pops up somewhere next year. Doesn't look too likely though.
