I'm weird with movies. I have a collection of films that I watch repeatedly. The last "new" movie I watched was a decade ago. Most of my favorites are from the 70's-80's. Early John Waters, cheesy 80's horror, off-beat indie films. I would rather watch my favorite movies 100 times than watch a new movie.

I wish I could eliminate 2 expressions from the English language. They are overused, especially by millennials. "So..." "No worries" Enough already!!

Shoot the Rapids sucked. Anticlimactic, dull, and it felt like it was trying way too hard to be cool & high tech. It's the frontier section for crying out loud. Think LOW tech! Think rustic! (Think White Water Landing.)

You've heard of a heart-line roll? This has a "head-line" loop. His head stayed in the exact center of the loop. LOL!

Strictly thinking about layouts, I loved Son of Beast's design. It had enormous, flowing elements that I've always appreciated from a layout standpoint. I miss that coaster.

Raptor, in 1996. Back then, I had no expectations of what a "B&M coaster" should be. There was no precedent. All I knew was it was a gigantic, futuristic-looking coaster and it was wildly popular with super long lines. I don't think I even knew who designed it.

^Wow! I've drank lots of different coffees. My favorite is Starbucks. My office buys Starbucks Verona by the case, and I brew a fresh pot every morning at work. Without my huge mug of coffee... I'm worthless.

Our cheese drawer in the fridge is stock-piled at all times. Slices, crumbles, wedges... you name it! I <3 cheese.

I drank a LaCroix today. No sugar! No artificial sweeteners made in a chemistry lab either... so I won't grow a third eye from drinking it.

It looks like Shockwave is still laying in pieces right by Darien Lake. I think they may as well sell it as scrap steel. It's a dated coaster design that hasn't aged very well. Re-building it and marketing it as a "new" coaster in this day and age would likely disappoint many of the people who ride it.

Six years ago we rescued our cat, Link, off the Chicago streets when he was just a few weeks old. He was a homeless little guy, scrawny, filthy, and he had fleas. After several visits to the vet & nursing him back to health, he became an incredible pet with a funny personality. He's a total clown. No regrets of that day in the alley when we scooped him up. I think the hammer was on the table to indicate construction... nothing more. A hammer is probably the most basic tool in existence, and it's something that everybody recognizes and associates with building something new. I doubt it was a "hint" of a specific type of ride.
