Until the End of the World - U2
Waves of regret and waves of joy,
I reached out for the one I tried to destroy.
You, you said you'd wait
until the end of the world.
All kidding aside, there were some odd choices during those years from a business standpoint. Like opening Deja Vu and Vertical Velocity both in the same year. Marketing just ONE of those coasters effectively could have interested the public enough to drive traffic to the park. *scratches head*
Will def check out Edge of Seventeen. Off-beat movies are great.
Are there any John Waters fans in the room?
*crickets chirping*
Usually I stand alone on that. His '70s films are some of my all-time favorites. I don't recommend them often because they require a twisted sense of humor to appreciate. If interested, and if you like off-beat humor, check out --> Desperate Living (1977) or Female Trouble (1974).
Right now.... Sparks Will Fly, from one of my all-time favorite Stones records: Voodoo Lounge. They've been around for 50 years and they're STILL touring.
How many of today's artists do you think will still be around 50 years from now? I think very few, if any.
Marge: Homer, didn't John seem a little "festive" to you?
Homer: Couldn't agree more, happy as a clam.
Marge: He prefers the company of men!
Add a notch to the gay column. I am. I also love classic American 60's muscle cars. And bad movies, and 80's music. And the humor you can find on this site. Peace.
Confession. I have a collection of favorite films ranging from B&W classics to horror, to movies that are so bad they're good. I would rather re-watch any those for the 50th time than see something new in theaters.
Big fan of Depeche Mode because of their unique dark sound & level of effort they put into their lyrics. No fluff. If you're not very familiar with them and if you're interested, check out Construction Time Again (1983).
I think Goliath will be a hit. There are lots of people here in the Chicago metropolitan area who have never seen a Rocky Mountain woodie, let alone ridden one. They are in for a kick-ass surprise.
