Perfect example of the recurring theme in this thread: overly high expectations. That causes the "overrated" feeling. It's true in coasters and in life.

Agree. The current Cedar Point map is over-styled, and the clutter makes it quite difficult to follow. I prefer the park map from the late 80's/early 90's. It was easier on the eyes.

I'd call this a novelty. Part of a roller coaster experience is the thrilling visuals, looking down and seeing how high you are, the expressions on the faces of your family & friends sitting next to you. This eliminates all of the real-world/social aspects of riding coasters in favor of an artificial/solitary experience.

Agree. The actual experience is often very different than a video.

I'd bump-up Gemini a little. It's a fun coaster, very re-rideable, and the racing feature is unique. Have fun.

Word. Valravn has a terrible color scheme. It's just awful. It should have been a nice dark charcoal color, like Krake or Oblivion. I think a dark color scheme fits the menacing characteristics of a dive machine much better.

SFMM. Because they have a better hyper (Goliath), and a better flying coaster (Tatsu). Done. Next: Battle of the dinner plans! Chinese take-out or Indian take-out?

^For the shows I'm marathoning, I'll watch one new episode per day. That's as close as it gets. I might watch 2 episodes in a row, but I don't think I could watch 5 episodes in one sitting. That's too much at once.

My current guilty pleasure. A whole box of the brown ones!
