^ I had no issues with casting women. Didn't matter if they cast 4 women, 4 men, 4 kids, 4 dogs, whatever. My issue is with re-makes in general. Copycats suck.

I'm gonna say no. (No idea what that question means ) Do you like popcorn?

This giant mug of dark roast coffee is making me very happy right now. It's the little things in life.

^ Finding Dory looks good. I'll probably stream it when it's available. I loved the first film. I didn't know Ed O'Neill voiced one of the characters! I don't watch Modern Family, but I remember Ed as Al Bundy from Married With Children... one of my favorite shows back when Fox was a brand new network.

No. Did you carve a pumpkin last Halloween?

^^^^ Drool-worthy pizza. Philrad, is that basil on top? Nice touch.

^What's worse? Bumping against a person... or an on-coming car? The way I look at it, I'm teaching a valuable lesson to be aware of your surroundings. Especially in a busy city where you could easily get hit by a car if you're not watching where you're going.

I work downtown Chicago, and I constantly encounter this on the streets -- people staring at their phones, not watching where they are going. When they approach me on my side of the sidewalk, staring down at their damn white iPhones, I intentionally slam into them extra hard and tell them to watch where they're going. It's fun. Bonus points if they're tourists.

We're going to watch the Original 1984 Ghostbusters tonight with cocktails. Can't wait!

I never found Pokemon appealing. During my high school years, I remember the release of Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow on Game Boy Color. My little 6 & 7-year old cousins were obsessed with it, and I guess I associated it with being a kid's game. I'll stick with the Zelda franchise.

I just returned from trip to South Korea for work. I watched Mad Max Fury Road on the plane. (On a 12-hour flight you need something to pass the time!) I loved it. They really captured the spirit of the original Mad Max & Road Warrior. I don't watch many new movies, but I was glad I took a chance on this one!

You acknowledged we shouldn't mentioned politics... but then you did it anyway. Political comments divide us, they don't unite. fyi: there are gay republicans on this board. (I'm one.) Basically I'm the only one in Chicago. At our monthly meetings, I'm the only one who shows up.

The view, the setting, the whole package... it's jaw dropping. I was there in 1989 when Magnum opened. It had such an impact on the industry, and it has remained relevant ever since. To me, this is coaster perfection.

Raptor invented the moves. Banshee is the inexperienced young punk that copied them. -

... and there it is. I need a drink. I saved a bar stool for you. Once I saw people were whining about a "slight rattle," I poured myself a vodka.
