1. What makes you assume they didn't spend money on that? Its being publicly broadcasted and the song is copyrighted so I would assume they did have to pay for the rights to use it (tho maybe not, I have no idea). And more to the point, how is this less "original" than, say... Cedar Fair using a Republica track for TTD's station music? Or are we just in the mood to bash Six Flags? For the record, was being sarcastic when I said this was my favorite station music, I think its funny more than anything. But as with any station music that repeats all day, I feel for the ops. Some people just make it a sport to bash Six Flags, yet they still attend the parks regularly
2. No updates on the alleged expansions? Were they for 2016 or '17?
3. Twenty One Pilots- "Stressed Out"
4. Looks like plenty of airtime to be had
5. The biggest testament to Cedar Point's lineup is that people don't even mention Magnum, a Hypercoaster that's really, really good. This is the only park anywhere with an extra Hypercoaster nobody remembers is there. Carowinds? lol I wouldn't say Intimidator is forgotten about. They have 3 main rides, F325, I232, and Afterburn, that's it in my opinion. It may seem like Intimidator is an after thought this year, but that's what happens when you open up a giga. I honestly forgot about it until I drove up...and then after waiting an hour for it I was really wishing I never remembered it. At least Behemoth is really good (and better than Leviathan IMO). Valravn does look huge against the shore like that. Looking forward to more pictures! I agree about Intimadator, not a fan of it and my least favorite B&M hyper. I'll take Magnum over it any day. I couldn't believe how boring Intimidator was, I even tried multiple seats and it was lame all over the train. Give me Apollo's Chariot, Nitro, Diamondback, Goliath etc; It was by far the smoothest B&M hyper though
6. Glad we only got the before pictures
7. Can't help but wonder if this is part of the reason they haven't gotten any significant (brand new) coasters since El Toro. I mean Total Mayhem will be a solid attraction but it's still a relatively low-budget addition.
8. I wouldn't personally call it a snoozefest, but it is an extremely cookie cutter ride for a park like CP that has built so many ground breaking attractions. After having ridden Griffon this summer, I can say that MF, TTD, Magnum, Maverick, Raptor, and even Gatekeeper are all better attractions than a dive machine. That being said, it's still exciting to watch the construction of this thing...
9. My fave is the original, Bizarro/Medusa
10. Say what you will about Vekoma (I'm personally not a fan) but they sure do A LOT of business.

13. I find it interesting that FuII Throttle was listed as $6 million. Not sure if it's not accurate or if SFMM got an incredible deal. The ride has 2200ft of track, two trains, and two sets of LSMs. I know they saved a bit of dough on supports since the ride hugs the terrain and the top hat utilizes the vertical loop. But still seems like the ride would cost more than $6 million. Lightning Run turned out to be a great thrill for less money, $7 million and the ride ranks above many $20-30 million rides. Same goes for the Intamin and Mack mega lites. It's just disappointing that parks seems reluctant to install these types of rides. I guess they're not easy to market and low capacity for bigger parks, and maybe take up a bit too much land for smaller parks.
14. Re: Intimidator 305: How can you say you know how the "GP" feels about the coaster? How can you know if the park is unhappy with their attendance boost? How do you know KD even paid for the ride modifications? For all you know, Intamin hadn't delivered a coaster with the agreed upon forces, and ultimately had to deal with fixing it on their dime. I wouldn't put words into the parks mouth like that. I think Cedar Fair's relationship with Intamin (or lack thereof) since i305 speaks for itself... They're not buying Intamin doesn't mean they are done with Intamin.

16. AKA one of the greatest elements on a roller coaster ever!!!
17. First, how do we know that track work wasnt done on S:TE?? I don't recall Six Flags ever disclosing any information regarding that. Second, even if there wasnt track work done I still consider it a re-profile same as Rougarou. At the end of the day "re-profile" is a matter of verbiage. Third, there's no set rule on how much a ride has to change for it to be considered a re-profile vs. a modification vs we got new trains y'all
18. How is that not a re-profile? It now runs differently than its original design If anything, THIS is hearsay
19. Well one thing is for sure, this appears to be something new and exciting. That's what great about Mack, not only do they have an impeccable safety/reliability record (possibly better than B&M), but they're willing to try new and different things and not just rely on tried and true concepts.
